Hi Beth, Thanks for the question. I will be doing them soon - but please feel free to go to my website - and sign up for the mailing list - as I am creating groups for different topics where will share hints and tips too. This way - you will be notified as soon as the coverstitch machine group is up and running. www.sewandcraftstepbystep.com Have a great day! Kind Regards, Sherine Haines
I always thought a cover stitch machine was this PLUS a serger.. Like you could flip the front down or engage a blade in some way so that you can do the typical serger hem & cut.. So no cover stitch machine does that? I don't mean a foot attachment that will cut, I mean just like a serger.. Basically, i thought these were sergers that you could "serge" deeper into ur material vs just sewing along the edge
Good Morning Lovey. Thanks for the comment. Brother have chosen to keep the 2 operations completely separate, as they are completely different applications. I owned a different brand which was a combination machine many years ago, and it was such a process to change from one function to the other, that I ended up getting a separate overlocker and then using the combination machine purely as a coverstitch machine. This is why I love the fact that Brother have 2 separate machines - there is no hassle to change settings to access the 2 different functions - which makes life way easier. When looking at the price of a combination machine in another brand - the Brother works out to be less even though you have the luxury of 2 separate machines. I hope this is helpful. Kind Regards, Sherine.
My family have just bought me this machine for a special birthday present loving it so easy to use. 👍🏻
Happy birthday! What a lovely gift..... Enjoy your machine. Kind regards. Sherine

Yes please on the hemming attachment set. I have bought one for this machine but struggling to get it to work with a light knit material.
Noted! Will do one soon!
Would like me to hear how the machine sounds while stitching.
Hi
if you got to 5.19 on the timeline of the video, I actually stitch with the machine, so you will be able to hear it there.
When will you do attachment video?
