I was so proud to sink the final British capital ship with the first Dutch Super Heavy Battleship. I also did it while democratic and holding the continent while at war with both the Germans and British who had gone Edward. I gave up on that game because I got the achievement I wanted, but the actual process of building a navy to do it was fun.
You took a much harder route than I did, I just flipped fascist for the manpower and then spammed 5000 subs around the UK and naval bombers on the ports until the last one fell

I saw that Paradox has released an new achivement: ISorrowProduction Shows the Rat As an HOI4 player (or ISP) enforce ISP to show the rat with Alf Landon's face
YOU CAN DO COUPS ON MAJORS, it is just difficult (which would make a lot of sense). I couped the US as Nationalist Spain for the achievement, and I learned that it just needs to dip down under the stability percentage when starting the prep. They went from 29% to 65% and still fired.
You can actually pretty easily do the abyssinian fiasco and still get ethiopia, you just have to rush the conquest right after letting the fiasco trigger. There's just barely enough time to do it.
hey isp when you’re making colonial divisions even if only the colony turns green to deploy them there you can still deploy them in your home nation if you just click one of your own provinces
In my games if a war has been going on almost everyone has like zero stability and war support lol. Feels more realistic than how they used to always have 100% in both

One of the buttons for the operatives should let you lower their stability over time. I went for the freeing Egypt achievement (I don't recommend) and decided to do most of the spy achievements while I was at it. Got a coup off on France and Germany.

Using nuclear weapons flatly reduces countries war support/stability. Then you could launch coups. Only problem is you would have to be in the war to use nukes. This following info has nothing to do with the above, I just have a cool video idea for you. You can easily make speedy light/medium tanks but they're limited to the speed of your organisation batalions of mot/mech (~12km/h) but if you max out speed on mechanized 3 (12km/h +20% = 14.4km/h) and combine it with armored warfare left side (+10% on all + extra 10% for mot/mech on left side) plus advisors that give speed buffs (5-15%, britain has a 15% speed advisor but you cant go communist not that youd want to), plus take improv expert on a commander+field martial ( 15% total, its halved for field martials) all of this info is for vanilla hoi4, also you need basic air supremacy/anti-air to keep the speed, dont use motorized recon as its stuck at 12km/h due to a calculations bug, use light armored recon for extra speed buffs per terrain types PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO WHERE YOU GO AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.
