The editing is always good in the vlogs but this video was just gorgeous and cinematic. The shot at 2:58 was really cool and I feel like Asa would be really good a making a documentary
All his tips are fab... But... You and Cilla should be incredibly proud of the young man you have brought into the world. He is going to make a MASSIVE difference to the world. ❤️ Makes me feel emotional.
Love to Isaiah! I hope you never give up your love of photography. Thank you for helping us appreciate the world around us through your camera lens. Fantastic vlog-- we get to know more about the whole family through these vlogs- I would love it if you did more!!
Isaiah is a really special young man! He will do well in life! I agree with him 100% on how to take photos from different angles! I do that a lot! I wish there were more like Isaiah out here! Hope he is having fun at camp!
I love to see Isaiah involved with the family BUT I really love to see him do something else that he is really interested in. I too love to take pics but now I will do things differently!! Way to go Isaiah🙌🏾
Isaiah is such an intelligent, well spoken, and impressive young man. I love watching him in all of your videos, but this one especially. I can tell what a passion photography has become for him, and love seeing his pictures on Instagram. Thank you for your perspective on how to become a better photographer.
If the world could have more young people like him. He is wise for his years. You guys did a great job raising him. He will go far in life and always make you proud 💗
You are such an amazing person. You really have the outlook and personality of someone who is much older. Great job Isaiah and mom/dad, bright future and even more intellectual in the years to come.
Such an awesome documentary like vid with your son! Asa, the video you did of your son practicing his craft is just beautiful perfection! The awesome thing nowadays is is that you can just delete shots if you don’t like them-when I started, you had to make every shot count, as you only had say 35 shots per roll of film. I think this mindset has helped with my photography when things went digital. Forcing yourself to make every shot count I think works-I’m looking for my next DSLR, as my current camera isn’t functional. You have refueled the fire in my belly to have another go at photography again. Thankyou Isaiah & Asa!!
Thank you for all your input from your point of view.. I used to take pictures but stopped when I had my daughter but want to pick it back up.. Any advice on what kind of camera is the best to get?
Can we take a second to say how great of a person Isaiah is? He is so great with Abbie and he is so involved with his family and making sure everyone's happy. Not to mention he's pretty cute too😍
I hope you two had such a blast filming this on Father’s Day! Thank you for sharing Isaiah’s knowledge behind the camera! (And in front, you can’t teach the humour he has) he has such a good eye! 💙
I take photos as a hobby because it really is something that I greatly enjoy. Thank you for the tips , I agree with you totally. I do as much photography as I can since I'm legally blind and losing vision rapidly over time. It is a pleasure to be able to take photos and know that my passion is being lived even for a time.
I think my favorite type of photo to shoot is low to the ground, shooting at an upward angle with some sort of foliage (grass, leaves, flowers) directly in the front of the shot and then shoot toward the horizon if by a beach or shoot up a toward a tall building like in Chicago where I'm near. I also love shooting sunsets by water! Isaiah is very talented and takes some really great photos! ❤
I agree to just take photos. I love photography and my subjects are my puppies. Oh, the Osmonds too! I feel you take classes, you’re learning their methods, their ways of taking photos. I want my perspective. Keep up the great work.
Photography is amazing! I used photography to come back from my brain injury. This IS a documentary Asa, great work spotlighting an awesome and talented young man! You just get the joy of hearing him call you "Dad".
It’s always worth taking all of the photos and finding your style. You may think you like a certain style, but you might be great at photographing another style. I have always taken better pictures in natural light, so I go with it. Please continue to take great photos and make a portfolio of your favorites.
You did an amazing job at editing and producing this. Very documentary like and professional. You have a talent people pay a lot of money to learn. Keep going
Thanks for the tips Isaiah Mass. I only just brought a very expensive camera last year and at my old age of 37 am beginning to see the amazing things it can do. I only have a few really cool pics of a church I found out of town, I have tried to include the barron land surrounding it. But I'm sure I'll get there 😊
Hi there from sunny South Africa! Hoping my comments gets read. Just wanted to say that the editing of this video was over the top impressive!!! This young man is going places! PS: well done on the editing Asa.
This was shot really beautifully, it's like a real TV show, great info Isaiah! I love taking photos myself, not a professional just a hobby. I was always the photographer in my family! I love the bad golfer analogy! lol :)
All you need to know about taking great photographs in 5 minutes. Great job. By the way I know you here this a lot but you are a GREAT big brother, and a great son. At least on camera. Lol
Thanks Isaiah, that was interesting to hear your perspective. I just never thought about all of that before, because I really haven't taken very many photos of things.. I always forget, as I'm caught up in the moment of whatever I'm doing. I'm glad you enjoy it, though & I HOPE you are able to make some decent money from your experience.
Hey. I am sorry for the late comment. But I was at a graduation tonight. I love his work. Maybe one day we can link up. I have been doing photography for about ten years. I owe it to my uncle for the love of photography. Awesome video. Thanks for the content.
I've always wanted to try photography... I'm not a creative person at all. I suck at drawing or painting. But Idk, you're making me feel like I could try this and be ok at it. LOL
Wow, Asa! That mini documentary between the beeps was very impressive... if FatheringAutism ever stops working out, it looks like you could always take up documentary film-making...
First I want to say I LOVE watching your family, you always put a smile on my face. My daughter (she's almost 3) always says hi to Abbie and she calls Asa "babe". Isaiah, I was wondering what inspires your photos? How do you know what would be a great photo? I love you pieces.
I’am looking into getting a camera for videographer and photography. I’ve always use my iPhone to take photos. They turn out awesome but I wanted to try it out. What would you recommend for beginners on looking to buy a camera? Thank you!
What kind of camera do you use Isaiah and Asa? I’m looking into purchasing a camera. I’ve been looking at the Canon Rebel T7i and Cannon 80D. Need it for photography and videography. Thank you in advance!
I love y’all so much! Always and forever ♾! I don’t know what I would do without y’all beside me! I really want to meet y’all someday! I am so proud of you!❤️ you’re so cool 😎(:(:
My #1 rule with regards to photography... Always keep your camera with you at all times. You never know when you are going to come across something that you think would be picture worthy. My #2 rule with regards to photography... The camera does not make a great picture...the person behind the camera makes a great picture. You can buy all the expensive equipment you want, but unless you know what you are doing with it, the picture will not be great. I have 4 different lenses that I bought for my Nikon D3300, but the lens that I use the most is the lens that came with the camera when I first bought it. My #3 rule with regards to photography... Take the time to learn the limitations of what your camera can and can not do. Take the time to learn about how the exposure triangle (aperture, shutter speed, and ISO) affects the outcome of your pictures. You have to learn to crawl before you walk. Don't go out and think you are going to take great pictures right away. That comes with time.
I can appreciate this. Photography is an art just like any other art that requires drawing abilities that I don’t have. Thanks for putting this video out where you poured your thoughts about photography and your stank point. Your style and technique really shows in your photos!
The editing is always good in the vlogs but this video was just gorgeous and cinematic. The shot at 2:58 was really cool and I feel like Asa would be really good a making a documentary
I was thinking the same thing. Asa would be fantastic making documentaries.
That's something I would love to see though it would be pretty difficult w vlogging and stuff too
I am a photographer and I agree with all this. Take photos you enjoy and in different ways. Way to go!
All his tips are fab... But... You and Cilla should be incredibly proud of the young man you have brought into the world. He is going to make a MASSIVE difference to the world. ❤️ Makes me feel emotional.
It’s so cool to see Isaiah’s talents come alive. I love how positive he is. Can’t wait to see his career continue to grow!!
Agreed! He’s such a great kid!
Love to Isaiah! I hope you never give up your love of photography. Thank you for helping us appreciate the world around us through your camera lens. Fantastic vlog-- we get to know more about the whole family through these vlogs- I would love it if you did more!!

Nicole Clark i want him to make his own channel

Without a doubt he is going to be a very successful person.
Isaiah is the best! Such a great guy! Proud of you and for you

I really enjoyed the way this video was shot and edited. You are very talented asa and it isn’t going unnoticed!
Mother of 3 sons, grandmother of 7 grandsons - this young man is a keeper.
When he gets back from camp, how about a tag your best shot on IG?

This is an amazing video. I am not much of a photographer but this really made me want to go out there and just shoot some photos.
I love the buzz that you get when you know you just captured an awesome pic. I love taking photos of my hamster (of course) and nature.
I hope you two had such a blast filming this on Father’s Day! Thank you for sharing Isaiah’s knowledge behind the camera! (And in front, you can’t teach the humour he has) he has such a good eye! 💙
Isaiah great advice and video thank you. Be great to see some more videos with him and interests as the focus. Awesome guy.

Asa, that rotation at 3:09 ... man that is awesome. Spot on. Well done.
Not gonna lie, I used the DJI Osmo Action for that stabilization. A little bit of a cheat but a smart one! 😉

My father was a photographer, and a lot of advice he gave me are very similar to what you're saying too!
What an awesome video. Good job guys. I like your perspective on taking pictures, especially the golf analogy. Rock on Isaiah!!
Thank you 🥰🥰🥰
In the first picture, it is amazing!
“Don’t golf though, it’s too expensive. Shoot photos.” ~Isaiah Maass

He's awesome. :) Loved this. Tips for starting a YT channel and what equipment to use/how to get that off the ground would be awesome, too!
Phenomenal video. Incredibly well done.
