Paul McCartney is joined by good friends Ringo Starr, Brian Wilson and Keith Richards as well as a host of others, to sing a collection of his Favourite John Lennon's songs...Private Party, Las Vegas, 2018.

I was fortunate enough to be at that party! My God! What fond memories. At one point, Brian Wilson and Keith Richards started playing "pretend badminton" in Paul's front yard. Keith (who was wearing nothing but a leopard skin thong at this point) had convinced Brian to wear this amazing dress with green sequins. Ringo was in tears! What a time we had!

We've seen the video of Paul coming to tears listening to the song, so you know he really loved John's work. And even after all these years, he still hags out with friends playing Johns music. What a great recording!

Excellent choice of Paul's images. Contemporary. The way he looks nowadays. And he still looks good. I like that he let his hair go gray. It suits him.

Paul missed the second couplet of the song " How do you sleep". And I think he did the right thing. In the second couplet, there are too unpleasant words addressed to him.

A great and respectful tribute to John. I'd like to see this in a video version. It would go platinum in mere minutes!
I just wonder why McCartney's voice is so understated and in such a low tone. Perhaps this party wore him out a bit. Yet, regardless, his pitch in the singing, and his guitar work is phenomenally perfect, as we wouldn't expect any less from this left handed genius, would we? The listener soon realizes that McCartney does not need an auto-tune machine, when he just did that on his new Egypt Station album, on one tune, as really only taking a stab at the lesser auto-tune musicians for fun. It also shows that McCartney has a great sense of humor. 😎
Well he aint no spring chicken anymore - the Years catch up with all of us - and Paul is no different - Great to hear this AMAZING find though ...
Paul didn't need auto-tune machine, don'1 you see? He only wants to used it. And the result was fantastic. He is free to try whatever he wants. He is a Beatle!

How Do You Sleep, haha. Well, obviously it wasn't about Paul - he knew how Paul slept. No, he probably wrote it for Yoko, just like all his songs. Why would ONE song suddenly be about someone else?? I mean, with her John had terrible insomnia and needed her instructions on how to sleep, no?
