Me, either. It will be absolutely horrible for the music industry. Paul has given us so much great music all these years. I can't imagine a world without Paul McCartney. It will not be the same at all.
To live through the Beatles era was just wonderful. I saved up to purchase each album when they were released. My bedroom wall was covered by pictures I’d cut from magazine and newspapers. This was all before we had a television set and the radio was the way to keep up with their career.
When I first played commercially in the folkhouses as one of the members of a folksinging band in the 70s, we always included some Beatles selections to please the customersn who were getting drowsy from listening hard folksongs particularly those who don't dig folksongs. We noticed that their songs could entertain all kinds of customers regardless of age and social status. Therafter, I became serious in their music and along the way, I noticed that George creations lately have more depth and artistic approach with nice melodic lead.,
He has a pretty good resume, drummer for Nirvana, guitar and vocals for the Foo Fights, regularly trolls Westborough Baptist Church and tells great stories.
Watch his tv show on Paramount Plus called From the Cradle to the Stage. Dave and his Mom go and meet other artists and their Moms. Apparently Dave’s mom wrote a book called that and she spoke with the mothers. Dave Grohl is awesome!!!! His music is good too. You will not regret watching From the Cradle to the Stage.
So great when Tyler screams " Yah!! " off-mike at 11:08. Obviously a genuine thrill for him to be singing to the composer. And Taylor was the first non-British act signed by the newly formed Apple back in 1968. Peter Asher played his demo tape for Paul and George. This started his ascent as a performing song-writer.
Ah Sir Paul -- I will never forget that night when I (an 8-year-old American girl) first saw you on the Ed Sullivan Show, and my life, and the lives of us all, changed forever. You have written, sung, and performed the soundtrack of my youth and my life. Thank you. God bless you.
Steven was understated in this, maybe realizing the night belonged to Paul. Still, he had the audience in his grip. I got a kick out of seeing John Lithgow singing along. When Steven sang "Golden Slumbers" I got goose bumps as my mind went back decades.

She came in….Golden Slumbers…and The End, were never performed live by the Beatles…..and Steven T just killed it. Did it his way, but paying homage to the masterfully way it was originally created. And did it in a way that didn’t make it all about him. Just beautiful.

To live through the Beatles era was just wonderful. I saved up to purchase each album when they were released. My bedroom wall was covered by pictures I’d cut from magazine and newspapers. This was all before we had a television set and the radio was the way to keep up with their career.
They've been the backdrop to my whole life! There are no words, really. What a remarkable phenomenon!
🤍
One of 2 of the greatest, songwriters ever! Paul and John rank with the masters of classical music! All the rest follow them!
Therafter, I became serious in their music and along the way, I noticed that George creations lately have more depth and artistic approach with nice melodic lead.,
Don’t know a lot about Dave Grohl’s music but every time I run across him on you tube I’m impressed by his talent.
He’s a cool guy. Google his story about prince.
Oh and he always gives props to his mom. :)
He has a pretty good resume, drummer for Nirvana, guitar and vocals for the Foo Fights, regularly trolls Westborough Baptist Church and tells great stories.
@@chrisjohner4307 Well if he trolls Westborough, I’m a fan. Lol
My grandchildren fell in love with the The Beatles,
It's AMAZING!
THE SONG WILL NEVER END...
We all love Paul's standards. I thank them for including Golden Slumbers/ Carry That Weight and The End. I burst into tears!
So incredible, so amazing, they showed they way .. it's getting better all the time. Thanks Paul!! John!!! George!!! Ringo!!! Beatles!!!
Hello my friend, how are you doing?
Steven was understated in this, maybe realizing the night belonged to Paul. Still, he had the audience in his grip. I got
a kick out of seeing John Lithgow singing along. When Steven sang "Golden Slumbers" I got goose bumps as my mind
went back decades.
Paul really deserves it, the best ever...
I can't look at Let it Be the same way again, thanks to Paul's story Carpool Karaoke. Seeing him get emotional at the end with Hey Jude had me in tears.
Paul and everyone knew that Steven Tyler was going to blow the roof off the joint! He SLAYED it. Standing ovation!
I come back to this all the time to watch it - love love love Steven Tyler's performance and love Paul's reaction to James Taylor coming out; the power of Mavis Staples and her beauty and the whole touching tribute
Mavis Staples was singing the Blues when they were still Teal. For her to push Steven Tyler to the middle says so much about who she is.
I do the same, listen to this Kennedy Center award program over and over. I'm loving these performers sing Sir Paul's song, and his response to the artists singing them!!!
The best songwriter of the last 50 years. No one else comes close.
Only when he collaborated with the rest of the Beatles , on his own he was just another average songwriter.
Beatles were and remain the most iconic group in the last century.♥️
Fabulous interpretations by some of the best artists of great songs.
Amazing. Grew up with Beatles and they are the band of a lifetime. Great to see all these people simply lost in the music and a feeling of love for everyone. I miss that terribly
Friend I miss them too 🥺
Grew Up in the
1960’s & 70’s
Best Music

Thanks
For the
Music& Memories

Imagine all the memories he has , with each of these songs..etc....
I got a shiver up my back watching this.
Doesn't matter which type of music you like, if it brings you joy, or moves you in any way, that is what it's all about.
She came in….Golden Slumbers…and The End, were never performed live by the Beatles…..and Steven T just killed it. Did it his way, but paying homage to the masterfully way it was originally created. And did it in a way that didn’t make it all about him. Just beautiful.
Steve Tyler is one helluva performer.
Steven Tyler is another one of those that will stand the test of times. He can take any song and turn it into something amazing. I've seen him go crazy and at the same time can take a serious song and perform it to perfection. A true student of music
off the charts and kinda let's everyone know in the hearts how much the Beattles & McCarty are loved from around the World. Very moving, amazing talent, and just a beautiful tribute...and it makes you sad, but so so alive....and it made my day to hear this!
Thank you Paul for your stories of the road. Lennon/McCartney, all of the days. Incredible.❤
Paul McCartney is the Mozart of the modern times
It's hard to contemplate that those masterpieces are just a fraction of his masterpieces.
Long live Sir John! Nice trumpet and trombone playing; Pissed when I saw two of the wreckers of the U.S. Obama and his wife & quit watching.
Too staged and theatrical, audience full of liberal scum I wouldn't waste a roll of toilet paper on.
@@jeffreycraven8154, you would need a full roll. Ya huge piece of shit.Crawl back under your rock, you miserable waste of air.
@@shawnduffy3380 Well Shawn, get me two full rolls and a sink close by for added cleanliness. Love Paul's compositions but this tribute is just as ass kissing festival. Paul probably clapped for these performers out of a feeling of obligation to clap.
@@jeffreycraven8154 yeah, Oprah and Micheal Obama are okay too much. Then there's the rest.
The Legend that will always be immortal through his music, one of a kind and never will there be another. He deserved this and more, Congrats :)
You say ‘there will never be another’ and yet the individual they chose to honor has been an imposter posing as Paul for over fifty years on now.
@@vahnscott6019 Yes Vahn, everything you say is true. Does that make you feel better?
There will never ever be a phenomenon like the Beatles this band changed the entire world for the better I'm so sad today that two of them are gone but definitely not forgotten!!
@@vahnscott6019 . . . Dickhead! . . . 🌿🦊🌿
@@iainwood1905 Creatively speaking, I think you may have broken the mold here. 🤗
I crying all over my keyboard. I am so happy to see all these great artists together honoring PM!!
What a man, what a career, what a life. THANK YOU Sir Paul xx
When you own the Music....... you own the World. Never let anyone tell you that one person can't make a difference. Beautiful.
This shows how well versed and a bad$$$ Steven Tyler really is. He knocked it out of the ballpark!
I have watched this video several times since it came out and every time it reduces me to tears. As a teenager growing up on Yorkshire England in the 60's these songs and all of The Beatles and "Our Paul's" are an integral part of who I am. I am 70 now. (How did this little Yorkshire boy get here!! There are no thankyou's big enough for what you have brought to my life Sir Paul. Love from Bob Mitchell.
The pure joy of Tyler at 11:08 brings tears to my eyes. Wow!
I thank the heavens that the Beatles came along. I cannot and don’t want to imagine a world without the Beatles. There were the Beatles and then everyone who came after!
They saved guitar rock.
A world without The Beatles sounds like a great idea for movie
