You will be shocked how close the world has gotten to a Beatles reunion. John, George, & Ringo, all jamming out playing Paul's new solo material. Incredible.
@@MrSTEVIERIKS Hey ! Stevie Riks do you think that Paul McCartney would enjoy knowing that his friend and former Beatle John Lennon was singing his songs ?
All three of them totally killed the Ram album by Paul in public, but they know it by heart... It almost killed Paul's career. But the Ram album remains a brilliant album that stood the test of time more than any other post Beatle album by any of the four...
“RAM”, the originally misunderstood album masterpiece that was way ahead of its time and set the highest bar for all other Beatles as individuals and for Paul himself. In fact, its mastery was never matched, as much as all four continued to produce fine work. The article shared hereunder is smart and musically sensible enough to give “RAM” the musical justice it deserves. Here’s a mere extract but do access the full content in the link further below. It constitutes a precious and well deserved tribute to a marvelous feat as revolutionary as “Abbey Road” or “Sgt. Pepper”. “…. That attention to the guitar tones points to the larger beauty of Ram: the whole thing just sounds amazing, with a warmth and clarity rarely heard outside of jazz and classical recordings at that time. There is no mush, no desperate layered glue to cover flaws - everything is heard, and everything counts in these arrangements. The orchestral arrangements are, like those in The Beatles’ best work, integral to the instrumentation, rather than grafted on. “The Back Seat of My Car” is gloriously and goofily grandiose, with one of the biggest sounds I am aware of on record in the period, but it never seems to quite get away from itself…. Ram is highly relevant to these art forms, it simply didn’t show much interest in political culture as understood by the rock press of the time…. I think that just about any musician would be thrilled to have created something so beautiful and compelling….” www.culturesonar.com/ram-paul-mccartney/
The musical partnership and fellowship between John and Paul may have dissolved by this point. However, as much as John or Paul would’ve tried to deny it, they still had just as much respect for one another as musicians as they always had. I believe they really missed each other after the Beatles had ended; not just for the smash hits, the prestige or the endless money, but for how well they could work off each other to create beautiful and powerful melodies for the world to enjoy. They might have sounded very content to be free from the Beatles label, but when it came to writing new music, both Paul and John knew deep down that something was missing. Something that made their compositions truly magical. If only John had more time to try and relive that magic with Paul, even if for just a short while.
wow - this is pure gold. I had no idea this existed! Brings a whole new perspective to the afterlfie of Beatles and that the relationship might not has been as bad as the media has painted it. So utterly cool and love-embracing
Can really picture this party though, you really capture their personalities and senses of humour in a wonderful way! Especially John, his witty and partly uncaring/nonchalant personality is something you do perfectly! You even nail the half aggressive undertone! Could really be him!
Love Ringo pushing it on reminding all of the words and George saying they are all so high plus John bossing everyone all through it. Any lyrics will do just keep it going. John was loving it! If Paul had wandered in he would have organised all of them and remade the whole album as a Beatles album 😀 Maybe would have called it "Beatles Get Rammed" ... or words to that effect!
How could he not? Personally they were best friends, but musically they were soulmates. The creative stimulation they must have gotten when they collaborated must have been off the charts. Watching Peter Jackson's Get back film shows how much these two really were on the same wavelength.
From the audio and pictures it seemed like John was having fun in a jam session with George, Ringo, Yoko and some others. Very enjoyable. Thanks again Stevie.
feels great just imagining that this happened....and the interpretation of each song is top notch! John`s comments and chatter with the others is very fun to hear.
You know as much as John wanted to pretend he was the driving force of the Beatles, it was Paul who was actually the musical genius who drove the yellow submarine.
I felt that way to but now realise in the beginning it was John. In terms of contributing songs John was contributing much more. I’m always swinging between the two though
@@dondamon4669 john was prevalent in the beginning through a hard day's night but I feel lost interest as the Beatles went on. Him and George resented Paul's pushiness. Ringo says the reason they had as many songs as they do is Paul's work ethic.
Oh John (sic) you were all jealous. Ram a brilliant album, easily fits in post Pepper. It was neglected, even by Paul. A gem. C'mon everyone lets sing Revolution No.9!
I would be very flattered if I were McCartney that he had sung my songs. Having said that McCartney returned the compliment playing Lennon's songs years later. When all is said and done, McCartney and Lennon had a special love for each other which I'm McCartney will feel to the day he dies. Lennon is never dead for him.
Beyond Amazing. I thought this might have been AI, but not when posted in 2017, and the party-ers really are the voices of George and Ringo surmising what the songs are about to John. You can hear John and George are both at odds with Paul and love him at the same time.
This is soooo good haha. Finally after Band On The Run we got John singing my second favourite McCartney Album RAM. I wonder if McCartney had parties like these... 😁
This is pure genius. The very thought that John and Yoko would have spent their first night in NYC at that party leading a sing a long of Pauls songs is exquisite.
They do it great! And John knew a lot of the songs were about him. Sarcastically Paul wrote a lot of songs when the Beatles broke up. Then John wrong " How do you Sleep" about Paul! Then the feud began but John and Paul had a sit down and agreed to stop the feud.

Lennon and Harrison deep down knew Ram was a brilliant album..
If someone told me this existed I wouldn't have believed them.

My dad worked with a mate of Neil's for a short while in the late 70s and was told this tape existed, i didn't believe him, I feel a fool now.
YES It's always been out there, somewhere. So pleased you enjoyed it
The passive aggressiveness in this is potent.

Incredible, only a very knowledgeable fan could do this. 10/10
YES The guy who was there recording it was VERY Knowledgable
I would pay to see Paul’s reaction to this
I forgot how much i loved the ram album. This has made me want to listen to it again.
I am speechless - but I think this artifact is worth a lot of Money...that said, I enjoyed every minute of it...Thank You, StevieRiks!
We get it, John. Too many people is about you
Crazy they know all the words... they obviously loved the album. Good stuff
The Love for his friends music REALLY comes through doesnt it :-D
this video is incredible, thank you for posting.
10:41 "who's lucky break" the fact John really said that 💀
What a shame that publicly they claimed to think so little of Paul's solo efforts.
Good to know that in private they were fans like us!
is Paul playing and speaking at the session of 1969, so surely John and George are listening. So it may be familiar.
