So let's see if you can play with a rotten brain here (not in order, sorry):
Scout - Strategic positioning + use of double jumps, bonk, crit-a-cola, have to know the arch of the sandman ball and/or cleaver, mad milk usage (extenguishing and/or spy check)
Soldier - Know to predict where the enemies will go and when (either normally or airshots), rocket jumping, knowing when to use a banner
Demo - Same with Soldier, except with pills (minus the banners of course), demoknighting (knowing how to use your charge, how and when to charge), caber (yes, it's odd, but trust me)
Pyro - Deflecting (airblast), airblasting your team (when on fire), flares, tactical Thermal Thurster jumping, tactical use of melee based on situation
Engineer - Tactical placement of your buildings, wrangler pre-aim (rockets), upgrading/fixing your and others buildings (because that's what heroes do)
Heavy - Getting (sorta sneakily (he's a big guy)) sneakily close up and scaring the opponent away so you have more territory to work with
Medic - Evenly distributing healing, aim (either syringe or crossbow bolts), knowing when it's good to pop charge, Vaccinator charges and how to use them
Sniper - Hiding (usually) in plain sight, knowing when to shoot to get that sweet sweet headshot, smg usage, jarate (for extenguishing and/or spy check)
Spy - Getting sneakily behind enemy lines, knowing when to strike and who to stab first, sapping tactically so enemies either don't spot you or don't have a suspicion it was you, disguises and how to use them
All class - Positioning, knowing your weapons, knowing how not to get shot in the head (or at all even), helping your team

“I wish pvp shooters would require us to use our brains” CS:GO requires you to think tactically, TF2 requires you to think in the moment while completing an objective, battle royales require you to be able to make use of what you have, Krunker requires you to be able to aim while moving quickly or requires you to hit moving targets quickly, and there are many fps pvp games that can also be put on this list. I just used examples, like you could replace tf2 with overwatch and it would still have the same impact, etc.
