- Опубліковано 5 жов 2024
- Designing For is a series which looks at a level in gaming, and analyzes a theme central to that level's design. In this episode, we look at Stage 30 from Bubble Bobble Revolution, quite possibly the level cared least about by its own creators, in all of gaming.

Those redesigns are the things of nightmares.
They look dorky and fat.
The original bubble bobble needed you to learn a fictional language to get the true true ending, and that same language would give you the code for another mode which is required for the true true ending
I love Bubble Bobble to death, and yes Revolution was a mistake
Nope. Is the American version of the game that was a mistake
If the game boxart was normal, and level 30 was beatable, the game would have positive review
Of course.
_oh yeah let’s play a nice game of _*_bubble_*
ah yes, my favorite game!!
*bubble*
Despite owning a DS I've never even seen a copy of BB Revolution EVER. It's so ugly looking, my gawd, and HOW did that level 30 error even happen?! Yeah, I'ma just stick to Puzzle Bobble, thank you very much XD
The level 30 error only happens in the American version of the game. The Japanese and the European ones plays just fine.
Same!
this is adorable, I am asking myself why there are no modern versions. Oh, that is why. Sad ending, though maybe another try might be in order someday.
Bubble Bobble 4 Friends was released almost 4 years ago, I would say that's pretty modern
I love how more than half of the video is just about the original game
Gameplay looks sooooo slooooow. Judging from the boxart, Bub and Bob look like they've gained 20 pounds since the arcade game, so I guess that's not too surprising?
I mean they eat a lot of food on their journey
To everyone complaining about the redesigns, I think the devs were just trying to go for accuracy. They're super fat from all the food they ate from previous adventures. XD
I’m more biased on Revolution, I think it’s alright, the original being included is a nice touch, but that Level 30 bug is a shock.
You should see Larry Bundy He’s video on Unbeatable Games thanks to Developer Stupidity.
Thankfully I had played the patched rerelease of the US version of the game in my childhood.
Which didn't even matter all that much because I mostly played the original game that was included instead.
Underrated channel I have to say
Very underrated.
the game kinda scared my childhood
OMG WHY DOESNT THIS HAVE MORE VIEWS wait its 2 months ago...............I'll wait
1:50
He was probably making something of a joke, and mixed up nes and arcade.
Do a video on Ratchet and Clank, please.
Huh must've mixed the DS version up with the original for the NES as I thought it was the NES version that had an unbeatable bug. xD
I know a similar game; Snow Bros
