I remember picking up a full copy of Amiibo Festival at a Gamestop, box, game, and Amiibo and the matching cards, and it was like $5 for the whole set. Kinda weird that I found that for as low as it did, but then it blew up a little while later purely because of the three cards that it came with.
I remember when I went to Gamestop to pick up Smash 4 they had a whole table of like 2 dollar Amiibo Festival copies set up and they were selling them by telling people that the Isabelle amiibo works with Smash.
I'll tell you how bad GameStop wanted to get rid of that unwanted amiibo Festival inventory. The GameStops in my area put the brand new game (in the box with the amiibo) as a pre-owned game for $4.99. At the time, they were running a 4 for $10 under $5. I bought close to 20 of them and used them as gag gifts.

My favorite part about this release is that they were being sold at a higher price than amiibo festival where I lived, ALONGSIDE those same discounted copies with the amiibo and cards.
I wanna say this pack was like $30? But I definitely remember seeing amiibo festival discounted to $20 and later $15.
i remember buying amiibio festival on clearance figuring that the isabelle amiibo would be nice to have and actually had some fun with the game, a couple dollars worth at the very least and now it can sit as an oddity in my miniscule wiiu library flanked by Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 and Hyrule Warriors, the three games i actually bought that system for.
That's how I got all of my Animal Crossing Amibos and a few others, from Five BeLow.
I'm afraid I clicked on this. I trusted you Scott Stash. I'll be back
I can tell you what they did with copies of the game. They sold the sealed games at Used prices.
I bought it brand new at gamestop for $5. The guy at the counter literally did a double take when he rung it up.
Shoutouts to me working at Target one holiday season, seeing this in the bargain bin for five bucks, buying it, and ditching the Amiibo Festival CD immediately. I didn’t even own a WiiU; I bought it solely because two amiibo for five bucks seemed like a decent deal. :U
People like to play Life (the board game), but hate amiibo Festival which is the same thing.
im glad I was little when amiibo festival came out. i got the game for christmas and didnt realize how awful it was as a kid
I remember picking up a full copy of Amiibo Festival at a Gamestop, box, game, and Amiibo and the matching cards, and it was like $5 for the whole set. Kinda weird that I found that for as low as it did, but then it blew up a little while later purely because of the three cards that it came with.
I remember when I went to Gamestop to pick up Smash 4 they had a whole table of like 2 dollar Amiibo Festival copies set up
and they were selling them by telling people that the Isabelle amiibo works with Smash.
Oh word? I had no idea!
I'm still upset we never got a Nintendo Party to replace Mario Party. Tap your amiibo and play as that character. Instead we got this.
I love Animal Crossing! It's like chores, but with no tangible results.
Thank you for the video.
They did this with the three cards too!
The Isabelle amiibo has seen many jars…
11:36 In Europe, the amiibo cards were packaged in basic transparent plastic. 😭
I've seen these at Game Stop. They did sell the three cards in a separate pack. The duo was $23.99 and the three cards, and I kid you not were $15.99 for the three cards.
