Your title gave the impression you found a missing boy in an abandoned house, and then called the police. Very misleading title. I kept waiting for when you were going to say something about the boy having gone missing or even finding him there. Why do that? Your videos are cool and interesting on their own, why do a click bait? It's not cool to your subscribers, and some of us get really turned off by click baits, it makes us not take you seriously.
There wasnt one shred of evidence that a kid went missing or that the kid was from another family. You dont have to lie just to get views. With that being said it was a good explore.
I have a feeling this was Grandma's house, she remarried and moved in with new husband and turned the keys over to grandson for while he was in college. Grandma died and it went into probate and grandson was forced to leave until family fighting over the land is done. The house being in probate would explain why there is still electricity - the estate is paying the basic utilities.
I have so many questions......after finding the boys drivers license are u or have u Google searched his name, if not u should and add it to the story or do some research on the address! This video left me so curious!
The furnace in the living room is not a furnace it's an old wood burning stove. People used to heat their homes with them and still do heater homes with them. You can even if they're flat on top cook on them.
I literally have 4 in my house, plus a fireplace AND a furnace... we use them all the time, currently have two burning to save on fuel. Why not burn a natural and FREE type of heat than pay out the wazoo for fuel oil.
Yes, and the "crossbows" he mentioned were actually just a couple of arrows. And the shotgun shells also have more than just "3 or 4 pellets" inside them too. 😂 PS .... I also love wood burning stoves. I always had heat when the power went out, but not only that, I used to boil water on top of it and used it to fill a hot baths, as well as cooking on the top of it. Oh, how I miss that wood stove!!!
@shanaknibbs3790 shit I just cooked Chili on some coals last night in my fireplace. Why u think they're trying to BAN this shit. They want the people dependent on other shit, that suits them... Electric....
cool find but I think you should be a little more respectful of the property. If you touch or move something, put it back exactly as you found it and if you knock something over, PICK IT UP.
I thought the same with the photos. He left them face up, spread out, instead of back in the album better protected from the elements, dust, bird poop, fading, whatever. The next explorer would not have the same experience finding those photos.
I was mistaken for a missing boy a long time ago because he lived with his kidnapper for years. People around that area on my bike people would wave and say Hi Jonathan. I never said hi or waved back because my name isn't Jonathan lol. He was kidnapped by a pervert who kept him for years. His kidnapper ended up in prison.
My question is why is there still power to the place and who is actually paying it? I have seen quite a few videos on abandoned houses and some still have power and been abandoned for 50-60 years. Quite a place there though. Still savable and worth the renovation of it. That red settee was beautiful. Have a great day
50-60 yrs? I've watched several hundred urbex/abandos vids and I've never seen any with that many yrs abandoned! Maybe 20-30 yrs at the top end of the s scale. Some abandoned in as little as a few weeks!
I had a multi rental property. When a tenant left the electricity would be discontinued with the electric company. When I went in to repaint, etc. the electric was always still on, and I wasn't paying for it and I know my old tenants wouldn't be paying for it.
Depends on where you live, I'm guessing you live like where I do if you don't pay your bill or call and say I don't live there they shut it off completely but some places keep them on even after idk why though but they do
Because somebody owns it and he's trespassing clearly. It's an indication and that you shouldn't be on someone's property at the very least. Doesn't take a lot of brain cells to figure that out
My guess is that the red and black room is a game room. The low-hanging chandelier would've been hung over a table of some kind, either a game table or a pool table maybe. You'd usually see a fixture hung that low over a dining room table.

What? " the boy just disappeared with everything left behind"? That is definitely a leap into deep speculation. If I am to speculate, I would say the boy was the grandson, he grew up there, he lived with Grandma and his dad, he had his own things, the musical instruments, gaming room, and exercise room were not for Grandma. Then he got busted, went to prison, and Grandma died, leaving the house behind. That is a nice piano, who would leave it there to rot? I would imagine there was something there with names on it that you could research if you really thought he was "missing". lol🥴
The red and black room was a gaming room. There were several felt card game table top covers that were on the floor. I bet the ceiling was lowered to help with utilities. That's why the chandelier was so low.
I really dont know why all you explorers dont wear gloves in these houses. Stuff is nasty for one thing and like others have said you are leaving fingerprints. Even if the house is abandoned you are on private property. Doesnt necessarily give you the right to enter and look around.
The letter from the Grandmother was interesting and also cryptic strange. It's always surprising when power is still on. That's not a furnace its a wood burning stove aka cast iron fireplace and yes it was originally duct out; They are also still being made and Home Depot/Lowes sale them. Alright, not trying to be arrogant or a smart@ss etc. when finding ammo in abandoned places I would never pick it up without gloves- reason is what if someone comes along also gets it and then use it to commit a crime, then your finger prints are left on the shell case at a crime scene. Cool explore and bummer you were unable to finish exploring the place.

You're really not supposed to turn off and on lights in an abandoned house because you don't know if wires have been stripped and may cause a fire or what you could be igniting to that fusebox. You should be a lot more careful so you don't cause a house to go up in flames. It's carelessness that causes accidents

The black and red room looks like it was used for gambling, maybe card games. Red and black are the colors of a deck of cards. The overgrown pieces were related to cards. Lots of gambling went on in that room, IMO.
That broken crossbow is one of the crappiest pistol crossbows you can buy. I remember a friend of mine buying the same exact one for like $20 and it was really inaccurate. It also broke like a week later. Straight dookie butter.

So that would be a woodstove. They're DEFINITELY meant to be in a house. We use multiple woodstoves and a fireplace. Plus the furnace when we allow the fires to burn out.
I love your videos because you take time to look around, you don't leave your viewers wondering what they've missed! I guess in other words, you are as nosy as I am
I bet if you opened the door with the lock on it with the bolt cutters you found in the bedroom you would have found a body of someone that was locked in there
I just want to know what gives you the right to go inside someone's house snooping and digging around through their person belongings? I think you're a pretty nosey person, and wouldn't like it if the table was turned. You Should Mind Your Own Business! Js Btw, take the batteries back out of the Gameboy so it will continue to work! Smh
About the grandson I bet he collected all them little Powerballs🎉😊 I bet he's a lot older now and maybe the grandparents are in a home or even worse that they have died hope not❤
I wonder why the family just up and left the personal things of theirs. It almost makes you wonder about the mental state of the owners of the house unless they had to leave in a hurry and had to leave everything behind. Or were they all abducted or murdered
That furnace is a wood burning stove for heating and cooking if neccessary. Nice picture of Johnny Cash you missed there. Or it was the guy that played him in the movie. That battery goes to the old type of flashlight lanterns. That's what lantern light batteries actually looked like before the LED lights came out.
For all y'all complaining about Ricks Accent not being real Southern.....Guess what, he's from Louisiana, sounds just like my Aunt & Uncle from Louisiana!
So disrespectful. After my mom died, it took us a couple of years before me and my siblings got there to take of it. I would have been devastated if you all done this to my mom's house. The electricity is clearly saying it is not abandoned. You have no respect. Reading love letters out loud to your viewers. You are a degenerate. Karma. I am glad the sheriff showed up. The owners...

Yup I'm one of them! I liked his videos until this one came along. Said he respected people's things but went through everything they owned and even dropped things on the floor and no missing person and the police were for them trespassing. Must be desperate to post videos! Last one for me!
@@davidhibbs6989 This is the first time I"ve watched one of his videos and one of the most disrespectful trespasser I've seen so far. Also showing photos of young children is not right, especially without permission. Last one for me too.
Yes the wood burning stove would’ve been hooked to pipe that went out through a side wall or the roof & they’re as safe as a fireplace when vented properly.
If I owned that house I'd be super pissed off art you going through my shit and fabricating clickbait 'missing boy' titles about it and even showing his face! That boy is a man, now, you better hope he doesn't see this and kick your ass. You have no right to do this, this is owned by someone.
if "someone sees you go in there and they can rat you out." ??? Who is the rat here? If YOU don't have permission to be in a place, then YOU should be held liable for trespass. It seems to me the sheriff failed his job, and a grown man like you should find an honest way to make a living.
The sheriff probably can't get in touch with the owners. Otherwise, his butt would be sitting in jail. You need hte owner's permission to press charges.
Rick, you saying you all doesn't bother me one bit. There are a lot that you could say that is far worse than, you all. I appreciate you are so respectful. I love all of your videos! Love you and stay safe!
it seems the boy had a big arguments with the family and ran away from his real house and hang out with the wrong crowd. full of weapons and bullets. and the family gave up on him, besides his grandma.
What bothers me is the fact that they just left everything like that, there's no trace of them, if it was my family I would get the authorities involved, it's really weird that there's no investigation into what happened to everyone.
Wanna hear something funny. That lamp he remarked on at 14 minute mark is the same one right here beside me in my bedroom! That “cool” lamp is a Walmart original 😋😁
I think it’s fascinating exploring abandoned places. One thing I suggest when the power is still on at these places-please SHUT OFF lights or UNPLUG appliances and TVs, etc. the tax payers are footing the bill for power that’s not being paid for….unless you know for certain someone owns it and gives you permission to go in. I’d hate for others to have to have higher power bills because of this.
If someone unfortunate person couldn't afford to pay their bill most likely the electricity would get turned off on them. Maybe this house is set to auto-pay and the money is coming out of their bank. I don't get it either. I don't see how they could charge anyone else since in most places they have to read the meter, although they could build it in to price increases I suppose. Very strange.
That’s a beautiful Lamp in the Living Room, I myself would love to find a lamp like that.. that’s a beautiful house, if only someone would go in and clean it up, it would look spectacular cleaned up. I believe you took to long going tru the rooms, record as you look tru it first, then go tru each rooms telling the story, I believe it would be better and like that you’ll have a record of the entire place.
The irony of the letter from the grandma...saying that he should be doing a better job than in a nursing home..then she continues to say shes is joying life &no pressure or stress...😅...
The intro doesn't make much sense to me, your saying you spoke to a neighbour and they said they didn't really see anyone coming or going but yet they saw different faces there every day. It's a bit confusing and I've only watched the first couple of minutes as well.
I would have left the house upon discovering power. And I find it very disrespectful to have shown the picture of the boy to thousands of people and to see you playing with his guitar. God only knows how he probably felt about leaving his things behind. And the ammunition, if this wouldn't have gotten you in trouble for being in that house, I would have dropped those of at a police station. Some could take them and shoot somebody. We all know how street gangs are. I've seen a lot of wonderful videos of abandoned homes, but this one. I don't know.
Where did you grow up ;where you didn't know what a wood stove that most people have used to heat their homes throughout history? It's not a furnace per say it's a wood stove for heating a home!
And a wood stove that size needs to be fed every three hours. I didn't watch this until the end. Oh yeah, the picture of the cute baby girl looks exactly like my daughter at that age. Spitting image.

The black and red room looks like it was used for gambling, maybe card games. Red and black are the colors of a deck of cards. The overgrown pieces were related to cards. Lots of gambling went on in that room, IMO.
Being that I’m adopted from Russia, for some reason my gut tells me Nicoli too is Russian adopted.
Interesting
I’m a domestic adoption and I had the same thought.
20:33 It's not Barbecue King!! It's B.B. King, a very famous blues musician who was born in 1925 and died in 2017.
No missing boy, no police, CLICK BAIT!!
Thanx!
That broken crossbow is one of the crappiest pistol crossbows you can buy. I remember a friend of mine buying the same exact one for like $20 and it was really inaccurate. It also broke like a week later. Straight dookie butter.
All the ammo and weapon parts laying around is creepy
@@realamarica It's only creepy to those who have far too much soy in their diet. To everyone else it's just unspent ammo, and to some, a total waste just seeing it rot away.
I don't eat soy. I am not a wuss, and I have my share of defense supplies. Just entering these abandoned houses and finding weapons and ammo and people missing is creepy. I don't know where you live, but I live in the real world where people do commit murders and serious crimes. Just saying. God bless and stay safe. @@unnamed715
@@unnamed715 Ammo has gotten way too expensive now, and the way things are going you have to be prepared.
So that would be a woodstove. They're DEFINITELY meant to be in a house. We use multiple woodstoves and a fireplace. Plus the furnace when we allow the fires to burn out.
I was surprised that he didn't know what it was. I'm using the one we have right now.
Cool video. Always get kinda nervous seeing so many personal items, photos, library books etc. strewn about the rooms.
Same.
I love your videos because you take time to look around, you don't leave your viewers wondering what they've missed! I guess in other words, you are as nosy as I am
Ahhhh correct and thank you!
Welllll in this one I’m left wondering why the title indicates the boy was missing and what the mystery was…
@@ellebee1745 Just a way to get more people to click on their videos.
True lol I'm still left wondering was was in the bench under the dollhouse 🤭
That is NOT a furnace. It's a wood stove. And yes they go INSIDE of the home
I bet if you opened the door with the lock on it with the bolt cutters you found in the bedroom you would have found a body of someone that was locked in there
I was thinking the same thing
That’s where the boy is.. 😏
I just want to know what gives you the right to go inside someone's house snooping and digging around through their person belongings? I think you're a pretty nosey person, and wouldn't like it if the table was turned. You Should Mind Your Own Business! Js
Btw, take the batteries back out of the Gameboy so it will continue to work! Smh
@@debrapolenz2928 I agree. Abandoned for decades is one thing, but this place was obviously occupied less than a decade ago...
I hope some day you go back and finish the film for us, and don't forget to take the gameboy batteries off to avoid damage it. ha ha good job.
He should have taken the batteries out of the gameboy... that is if he even left it there, he was pretty smitten with it.
Or in jail.
That's not a furnace it's a wood stove for heating.
Your title was misleading and I am disappointed that you would di that to ppl. I will never watch another one of your videos
Thanks I don't need to watch it now. Not interested!!
Stop your blooclat cryin’.
Love you rangerrick ❤️
I love learning about history of the houses
Angele, thank you.
RangerRick on the guitar, Priceless..Looked like picture of Johnny Cash at 22:52. The ending, Shock, Yeah, no problem, still would have been to let you continue..
Hey ranger rick, you should lose viewers when you make up your own “click bait”. Maybe you should run for office.
And they do a great job of heating up a room. The only thing I don't like is having to carry in all that wood. lol
If I owned that house I'd be super pissed off art you going through my shit and fabricating clickbait 'missing boy' titles about it and even showing his face! That boy is a man, now, you better hope he doesn't see this and kick your ass. You have no right to do this, this is owned by someone.
Great vid, but the click bait title is not necessary. You're videos are good enough without them. 👍🏻❤️
wouldn't leave my prints everywhere in a strange building - Who knows what might have happened there in the past - don't destroy any evidence.
You are correct, Rick touches a lot of things and leaves his prints everywhere.
@@realamarica......
I'd have to wear gloves just because it's been vacant for so long
Especially with the strange drawings in the beginning of his video, definitely something not good happening to whoever drew it.
those shot gun shells are a 4/10 shells
wow amazing abandoned house! crazy to see stuff still left behind!! I recently done one that still had everything left behind
if "someone sees you go in there and they can rat you out." ??? Who is the rat here? If YOU don't have permission to be in a place, then YOU should be held liable for trespass. It seems to me the sheriff failed his job, and a grown man like you should find an honest way to make a living.
The sheriff probably can't get in touch with the owners. Otherwise, his butt would be sitting in jail. You need hte owner's permission to press charges.
Think maybe he was a foster kid or adopted when he was younger?
Rick, you saying you all doesn't bother me one bit. There are a lot that you could say that is far worse than, you all. I appreciate you are so respectful. I love all of your videos! Love you and stay safe!
It’s y’all. Obviously not a southerner.
It's Y'all not you all.
We Southerners also say "yuns". Go figure that out😂
We also say "reckon". You reckon they're home?
Well, I reckon 😂
Those were pruning sheers not bolt cutters
Time capsule with a flat screen? Cap! 😊❤
Lol
What a sad Story 😮Wish the best for the Family they have lived there❤
Thanks for sharing this story. ❤ God bless. 🙏
Basically it's not officially abandoned its just unoccupied for whatever reason
it seems the boy had a big arguments with the family and ran away from his real house and hang out with the wrong crowd. full of weapons and bullets. and the family gave up on him, besides his grandma.
Seems like Many Homes go Abandoned at Christmas 😢
@20:00 ish
That is not BBQ in the sign.
That is BB King, very famous blues musician.
We don’t like clickbait.
What bothers me is the fact that they just left everything like that, there's no trace of them, if it was my family I would get the authorities involved, it's really weird that there's no investigation into what happened to everyone.
Bro... B B king was a blues artist not bbq 🤦🏼♂️😆
Haaaa!
His Memphis nightclub has excellent BBQ
Wanna hear something funny. That lamp he remarked on at 14 minute mark is the same one right here beside me in my bedroom! That “cool” lamp is a Walmart original 😋😁
Amazing
The woodstove isn't old. A pipe fed from the stove up to the hole in the ceiling. The stove was fueled by wood..🔥
Ahhhh sweet !
Very strange.
this is why we all need a will
Nikolai is a vampire. It's just like the movie "Martin". He's the real life Martin.
That is strange thing that he just up And left 😮😢
Hey Rick This was a cool video it sucks to somebody rated You out.
This place looks like it had active squatters living there.
Not everything seemed dusty
The intro doesn't make much sense to me, your saying you spoke to a neighbour and they said they didn't really see anyone coming or going but yet they saw different faces there every day. It's a bit confusing and I've only watched the first couple of minutes as well.
CLICKBAIT! SHAME ON YOU!!
What missing boy? The letter talks about a junior in college. Is there a link to any information on this missing kid?
Really nice antiques in there. I hate to see them go to ruin. Its so sad to me.
I love the couch!!!!!
Where did you grow up ;where you didn't know what a wood stove that most people have used to heat their homes throughout history? It's not a furnace per say it's a wood stove for heating a home!
I keep expecting the family to walk in and say What the eef?
Exactly 💯
And a wood stove that size needs to be fed every three hours. I didn't watch this until the end. Oh yeah, the picture of the cute baby girl looks exactly like my daughter at that age. Spitting image.
The picture that was taken sideways.
How about more back story. Make contact with the boy as he is probably the only survivor everyone else deceased.
Kids school ID & DL left behind! Kid is definitely not Around.
@@SharonJones-ql8oy oh shit.. he would bring this home if he still alive, i was about to search for his name on google but the original poster blurred it / also sorry for the bad english im not native
I don’t know if it looks like someone just left yesterday though it looks like it’s been abandoned for a while
You made me laugh when you were confused about the indoor "furnace" lol
Thats just a normal indoor log burner the chimney is called a flu
Just thought id let you know 😏
Ranger Rick it did said someone was walking around and I did here the baby ing be safe good video keep up the work👍👍
i bought the same gameboy color when it came out. if i found that gameboy. i would have kept it for myself.

Not a cross bow
They are arrows for a bow and arrow
Cross bow looks like a gun
the boy likes to paint, if i was there i just took some paintings for my house thoose are classic
Game boy color with Pokemon crystal and then blue beside it was wild to see.
Especially since legit Crystal cartridges are hitting $150 plus these days
