A state of confusion, complete chaos physically and mentally. Hard to believe people lived in this turmoil of clutter . Interesting explore guys , thanks so much . NW Pennsylvania
It need just a touch of structial work and i think you were being gernerous with the two out of ten. i was thinking a one. LOL Thats the second acro prop holding upstairs up so send Ed up stairs first . This video may go vial if he comes back down through the floor. LOLTheres a lot of interesting stuff in this place. The bats are holding the roof up. Another awesome vid.
There were probably so many treasures that were in places you most certainly would not want to go in that place . Such a shame , in its present condition there are not many days left before mother nature claims what is now visable . Thanks to you Alex and Edd ( Pompeye ) at least there is a last memory of what could have been . Do take care , till next time , Stuart in Canada ..
Thank you both, while those bats are in there they can't pull it down as they are protected. There was also an old dolly tub in there, a metal washing machine from the 50s early 60s I bet some were in there the scrubbing board to go with it. I remember my mum using one when I was little. See you next week . 😊😊😊😊
Hi Alex and Ed. Realy entertaining loving all the bats quite rundown you should have hard hat's some of the places you go to great explor for the new year 👍 🎉
Sun cycles were an independent company, in 1958 they became part of Tube Investments portfolio whom also took over the Raleigh company in 1960. Another great vid guys, all the best for the New Year.
Happy New Year Alex and Ed. That was a good time capsule you explored with lots of memories of the past. Had a laugh at the Cornflakes box, they used to do a lot of things on the back of their boxes. Thanks both for the explore and rummage xx
Hi! Thank you so much for showing us this cottage! I was surprised at how big it was on the inside though packed with stuff. I would have loved a place like that if it was in good repair. I do think it’s beyond repair. I wish someone would at least clean out items not broken like china and other items if they can. Does anyone own the property now? What a shame. Could have been magical at one time. ❤️
As far as that Sun bike goes I had a 'Sun Sport' model back in the early 60s and I still recall the serial number as SH1934; I used to ride it across town to and from school down here at Truro.
Brilliant Alex and Ed so sad to see a thatched cottage in such a state. But our Ed always makes me laugh with his excitement at finding things 💯🫂🫂❤️🏴
Ever since I first found you guys on UA-cam, I've never missed an episode. The places you take us to are very amazing. Thank you very much. I have a question: do you always find things that are like discovering a treasure? Incredible stuff in this house. .
I split my ear open on one of those school desks as a child, had 12 stitches, my ear caught the metal hinge as i fell. Good stuff guys, enjoyed this one
Well, to say it was a hoarders house is a bit of an understatement. That roof looked like it had one of them old climbing nets over it and it would have been there for quite a few years. It's a pity that the lathe and bandsaw were just left to rot and yes that bandsaw did look new. All those bats! I've never seen that many bats in one place like that. Again, so much stuff in there and no real chance to look around because of the bats. Thanks for sharing your adventures guys, keep exploring and sharing your adventures. Happy New Year to you all.
Happy New Year, Alex and Ed. That place was full of old memories. But, like everything in this world, enjoy it while you're here because you can't take them with you. See you next Sunday, with a place with more foot room, and less bats in the attic.
Carbon Tetrachloride is a powerful solvent/degreaser. It was originally used, among other things, as the fluid in dry cleaning machines. It was discontinued because the fumes were so overpowering that it was causing people to pass out after collecting their dry cleaning, resulting in car crashes when the fumes built up inside the car!
I looked up the stuff too and it said to have a “sweet ether-like smell”. “Does this rag smell like ether?” ~ John Herbert (the old pervert from Family Guy)
I loved the big belfast sink (not sure if that's what it's called ) in the kitchen. I think this cottage would of had a thatched roof. What a shame everything was left to decay great explore. Thanks for sharing .👌✌️💜
❤those magazines ❤they looked in good nick❤ .I would have loved to see the old Christmas cards. The artwork used to be gorgeous. Bats are so cute. You two are very considerate ❤❤❤happy new year From New Zealand ❤
Nice place bit dangerous but very interesting glad you didn’t disturb the bats they attack when woken up but they are sweet little creatures my cat looks like one lol but thanks for your first video of 2025 really enjoyed it and I look forward to your next see you next week guys have a great week 😊❤️🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇
That roof! Another interesting one, friends. Glad it didn't come down on your heads, and can't believe the electricity is still on. Big yikes, ha ha ha. Happy new year, everyone!
hey man always love your stuff im glad you guys keep with the quality for footage like these it always makes such a massive difference also top gear ;)
im headin to a 1910 abadoned heritage farm tommorow 6 hour hike into the mountains suppose to be 4-5 builds on the site and a underground bakery should be good
Another good one from you two ,definitely forget the bats don't need them ,it's hard to believe there still power on the old place ,if the bats stopped holding hands the place would fall in
Very strange that there was power going through this dilapidated building. Still interesting though. Thanks guys. I enjoyed it. Stay safe have a great week!
Wow that was a really unsafe house but thanks for sharing it with us. You two seem like such great friends. Curious on how long you have known each other, if you don't mind me asking. Looking forward to your next explore.
Carbon tetrachloride was used for fire extinguishers. You could pour 2 ounces into 20 gallons of gasoline and then use a torch to weld on the tank and it wouldn't explode.
Happy New Year to you both. They obviously had children, so why are these properties just left. Interesting place with lots of old things left. Pity to leave the lathe and chisels to rot. Good video again. Sue from Hampshire xx
Hello, a creepy place about to collapse😮 It's amazing that it still has electricity, after so much time they haven't cut off the supply? It's strange. 👍😎🇪🇦
I really enjoy your channel. I miss Ed or Ned if one isn't with you Eric and it is so nice to see your face now and then. I hope you always find places to explore. I also like going back and watching some of your earlier videos. One recently was that large ship type thing that was renovated into a hotel and abandoned. It was beautiful and huge. I wonder whatever happened to that cool place. I always look forward to your Sunday Videos! Thank you for going to the trouble every week. Also are you and Ned related?
That property will probably have an order on it as of the bats living their as they are highly protected. That means nobody can do work etc or move in now.
Now you guys be careful of that big moat going around that house that's huge right there at least 4 in across 2 inches deep oh well it's cool. I don't know what that would be in metrics but probably close??? I got to get back to the video and see what happens.😊
Eddie and Alex are like two human ferrets weaving around.happy new year amigos

Well done guys for entering this place it's so dangerous and actually getting through as much as you could. So much stuff. Thankyou guys. 😊
Thank you both, while those bats are in there they can't pull it down as they are protected. Unusual sort of place, very ramshackle. When you said it hadn't been touched in a while, I thought, neither have I lmao 😂😂😂
You are very brave to go in there it's ready to fall down thanks for letting us see inside and the bats 😊😊😊

1:13 In England there's an abandoned house every hundred yards, all you have to do is walk down the road 😂
Very strange that there was power going through this dilapidated building. Still interesting though. Thanks guys. I enjoyed it. Stay safe have a great week!

Such a shame that John Broadwood piano 😟

Somebody has fitted that meter recently looks new.
Yeah its so strange why would they do that when the place looks like it's about to fall down.
Seeing a hoarders house is always sad to see.
