Absolutely loved this. Infectious viewing! I was so invested in your toy hunt from the very beginning Pixel Dan. So happy you got a grail piece 🎉🎉 congrats man. And what a store!! You've inspired me to go toy hunting again 😊
Stumbled onto a vintage wonderbread He-Man in a pile of junk figures a guy was selling for 20 dollars a pile. I bought 11 figures, that the guy thought were worthless because they didnt have accessories or weapons, some had the wrong arms or were missing arms, but the wonderbread heman was complete, and in decent shape. As far as I have been able to compare to sources online, it's a legit version, and a grail piece for my MOTU collection.
When it comes to more expensive retro toys, I believe if the inner child's happiness when holding that toy is equal or greater than that price, then it's justified. I recently purchased a grail of mine, a vintage G.I joe, for around the same price as your Pig-head. I don't collect G.I Joe and he's the only one in my collection but he was my childhood favorite and a figure that after I bought it, hit every nostalgia nerve and made my inner child light up like it was Christmas morning. Worth every cent! For those who are curious, my grail G.I Joe figure is the 1987 Stuart "Outback" Selkirk (v1).
This store is amazing. I think it's one of the best ones you've been to. I love the retro video game toys and ephemera. We have some great video game collectibles now. I think it drives interest in the old less complex toys. Cool vid as always. 👍🤘
The Thundercats sticker book and talking cobra commander brought nostalgic memories to my mind. That cover of the Thundercats sticker book is so Amazing, IMO.
What a cool shop! Always got to check out video game stores and comic shops. A lot more of them are starting to carry toys, especially the small mom and pop ones. Great pick up on the Pig Head. I thought for sure you were picking up the Super Shredder
That’s what it’s all about!! That feeling that rush! When you find something and it takes you back! Glad you found a grail! I met you at JoeFest 2024 and it was great! Keep doing what you do I will keep watching!
VHS 📼 cartoon and vintage toy selection was absolutely amazing! Wouldn’t expect that at a video game spot. I’m going to keep that in mind in the future sir. Pigman is sick man! Thanks Dan!
I went to the flea market one day and found a Rock Lords Solitaire there in perfect condition I loooove Margot Kidder, the design, the name, the whole package so she was a MUST for the collection and definitely a grail to me It was actually the first one I ever saw in person too!
I'm sure it's been said before, but... I walked out of the room and only was listening to the audio. I thought I was listening to Jason Segal shopping for toys.
Congrats on Pig Head! I was too old to be a MOTU kid but I kind of kept an eye on the line and I don't know how I missed the original Sun-Man figures at that time. I think I discovered them around their existence around the 200x era via the org and was completely fascinated by the line and was so happy when they all got re-made in Origins. So wish that could've happened during the Classics run...
What an amazing store! Your wife is not alone, I like the movie and I am looking for a catamaran for my collection. Congratulations on your grail! My favorite thing to see is when the time is right and a collector finds a long awaited piece. For those of us “budget” collectors, when another collector wins, we do too. Be well
These videos make me so jealous! We just don't get this kind of variety here in Canada. Also, when you were talking about regretting not buying a bunch of MOTUO Mosquitor figures when you could baffles me. Why would you do that? I get he's your favorite character, but what would you do with them? That's buying them just to have them, and that's not collecting, that's hoarding.
Excellent 👌 stuff pixel Dan the other masterverse waves are hitting tri-klops meckaneck King keldor battle armor he-man battle armor skeletor Man of war sorcerers teela merman 👍👍👍 awesome store by the way pixel dan
Love that I randomly picked this video to watch today & I was like whoa wait that’s the item shop!! I’ve been there!! Haha! Then I saw you start picking up items & im like wait I bought that item from the item shop!! Haha!! Meaning you were there before me, cause I ended up buying a bunch of the figures that you looked at in the video as well as vhs. I kept watching going I didn’t see that there. He must have bought it haha! I did my toy haul video from there as well. Love your videos Dan. Love that we are in the same area & are toy collectors & go to this shop. This was a great video to watch.
Atari games! I found my Tiger Toy Paperboy 2 and STTNG. Wow, I didn't see that many different Rock Lords when they were in stores. We had the Kool Aid Guy pitcher. I love The Last Unicorn because it's one of those dark cartoons. I've said it many times on your videos. It always keeps me mad that I don't live near these toy stores like this. I'd say Pighead is the worth while grail. The detail paint looks great on him.
I have a couple holy grails myself: original first edition electronic battleship, 2 1980s rc electric races tracks, G1 jazz autobot, Axis&Allies Spring 1942, The Rough Guide To Videogaming book 2002...
The store is amazing. I just recently found pee-wee playhouse Christmas special VHS at goodwill. But, my VHS cover is way different. It's great to know theirs a variant. Also, how many tmnt burger King vhs are their in total because i recently found some of those at the goodwill as well.
That's one of the best toy stores I think I've ever seen on Pixel Dans videos. Especially since they consider themselves more a video game store. lol Also I guess I must have missed it. How much was that Pig Head he picked up??
Normal, IL is a major college town so im betting the owner of this shop gets things dirt cheap from the students so they can buy some beer...lol. i grew up a lil bit away from Normal and ive spent many nights drinking at house parties there.
Hey pixel love ur vids longtime fan scored a complete original mighty max skull dungeon figures n accessories and a melts Lava beast two faves as a kid
I did have an unexpected personal Grail find this last Friday in Ohio.. I found The Mighty Max orange Lizard complete I believe it's Mighty Max Lashes Lizard? I found it unexpected at Route 68 Vintage Toys and Collectibles. I did also find a sealed Chef Shredder amongst other grails at the Great Ohio Toy Show. Couldn't believe it!!
Every time I see that case I think the same thing I did when I was a kid, why did the Real Ghostbusters line make a Quasimodo? That whole wave of monsters was so tacked on that's it's baffling.
nice finds..I just enjoy video hunts of 2nd hand toys, but Im real OC with my figures..really want to see them fresh from mint..Unless its sale I even pick out those which have no minute openings..but its cool to look at hunt videos.
Does anyone know what the brick red triceratops headed pseudo-he-man figure is at 9:00 ? I have had that since my childhood and have no idea what it is
The Thing maker you might want to go back and get its a great piece its based on those old Vac Modes that you see at Amusement parks and places you find families on vacation with family An WATER WORLD was a Kickazz Movie if you like those movies
What did you think of the store?
Yup
Was this one of the most unexpected things/places you have found in all your toy hunts?
It rocks
My uncle owns this store thanks for stopping by.
It looks amazing. I’d literally hit that place up at least once a week if I lived anywhere near there.
I like the WATER WORLD move too. I thought I was the only one.
Water world was awesome!
Paperrrrrrrr. Oooooh paperrr
19:15 No, Christina. I love Waterworld too. You’re not alone. Very underrated and not bad at all. Basically Mad Max on water.

Really? That's amazing!
Congrats
One of my favourite videos you've ever done, the nostalgia and the excitement and the unexpected discoveries - MARVELLOUS 🤩
When it comes to more expensive retro toys, I believe if the inner child's happiness when holding that toy is equal or greater than that price, then it's justified.

This store is amazing. I think it's one of the best ones you've been to. I love the retro video game toys and ephemera. We have some great video game collectibles now. I think it drives interest in the old less complex toys. Cool vid as always. 👍🤘
The best part about The Item Shop is that the inventory is constantly changing. Everytime I visit, I find new treasures.
If you’re ever in southern Indiana you should stop by Evansville Toys & Games
It always brings a smile to my face to see a new PixelDan video uploaded.
Congratulations for your find! That's a Store you should visit again. Amazing stuff there.
This is a great store for sure lots of rare & uncommon items .

That’s what it’s all about!! That feeling that rush! When you find something and it takes you back! Glad you found a grail! I met you at JoeFest 2024 and it was great! Keep doing what you do I will keep watching!

Thats Pig Head is great, i have always been attracted to its colourful paint scheme
What a great store name. The names are super hit miss but they nailed it here.
What’s interesting is the chipmunks theater comes with uncle Harry one of the bad guys from the show .
I went to the flea market one day and found a Rock Lords Solitaire there in perfect condition
I loooove Margot Kidder, the design, the name, the whole package so she was a MUST for the collection and definitely a grail to me
It was actually the first one I ever saw in person too!
I didn't see any Dino-Riders.. miss those. I had several growing up
What an incredible store, such an amazing selection! Next time I see a video game shop I might have to go inside.
How tall is Pixel Dan? He's TOWERING over those Ikea displays behind him.
I'm sure it's been said before, but... I walked out of the room and only was listening to the audio. I thought I was listening to Jason Segal shopping for toys.
First time seeing one of your videos and I am now starting my collection and I would have picked that Skeletor , great video , awesome store
My brother had that “A Strange Change Toy.” You would put a square shaped plastic piece in the heated chamber and it would unfold to a monster.
Is everything a grail???
You should put a list together of some of your favorite stores you've found locally, ill definitely be checking out the item shop...
Congrats on Pig Head! I was too old to be a MOTU kid but I kind of kept an eye on the line and I don't know how I missed the original Sun-Man figures at that time.
