Well tbh They kinda had a very negitive relationship not to bad but not good either but as Jr broke into Racing their relationship really started to get on possitive terms but sadley it didnt last long cause Sr would pass away

As a fan I'm incredibly saddened by the fact we lost arguably the best Driver to ever live but even more saddened by the fact that this man passed away at about the time his relationship with Jr had turned for the better. Jr openly talks about how his relationship with his dad wasn't the best but the 2 really became alot closer once Jr found success as a Nascar driver.
Who knows how the course of history would have changed had he never died. As far as we know Sr could have won another championship and Jr couldve also been a champion with the wisdom his father had.

It's sad because Jr. Has said his dad was a strict quiet man that didn't spend any time with his son but once they started racing together everything changed for them and they became close in the last few years of Dale sr life.

The stories we hear how tough Senior was, there is a great deal of love right there in in most ever interview when Jr & Sr are together!! This is a real treat to see so mb e of their history not so many people know a out!!! Its nice to see, even though Sr. Sacrificed much of his time and did not get so mu h time with his kids, he was building an empire for them carry on or live in!! Jr & Kelly are growing bigger then anyone ever imagined....😉
