When Dale died there was a family fight. Maybe Dale did not get along with some family members. We will never know. The wife should be ashamed.

Dale was my driver back in the day, me and my father in law at the time where watching the race that day, he was a gordon fan, but we always was for which ever one was winning, true legend, and he should be buried where his family can visit him, that's sad

Those words, 'he could see the wind', were just so emotive. Many thanks Jordan for this great tribute.

My Dad was a big race car fan watching the races on TV all the time. When the races were on, we would ask "is Dale Earnhardt winning?!" Of course we were devastated at the time of the accident. Love these videos & they bring back good memories.❤

I’m not into NASCAR, but I would hear of Dale and it’s so sad his kids cannot visit him. His wife should at least have some type of heart, those are his babies. Thanks, Jordan!

DEI hasn't been open in many years, long before Covid. I live just a few minutes down the road and go past it multiple times a week. Yes, Jr. used to live across the street from DEI but, after the Cribs episode, too many lookie loos were stopping to stare, so he moved, and the new owners changed the facade so it wouldn't be as easily recognizable. At the time of Dale's death, he had Dale Jr., Michael Waltrip and Steve Park driving for him. I believe, the very next week after Daytona, Steve Park won the race. I visited the shop numerous times while it was functioning and it was such a cool place. As for Teresa, I don't know her or anyone directly connected to her, but I can say she does not have a good reputation around here. Our local amusement park had a roller coaster called The Intimidator, named after Dale, of course. This year, they had to take all branding off and rename it. RUMOR has it that Teresa wanted too much money for the rights, so Cedar Fair chose not to pay. But again, it's a rumor and completely unsubstantiated.

That has got to be the most life like statue I’ve ever seen. That looks just like Dale.

My favorite Earnhardt moment was in the late 80’s. Dale was signing autographs for a charity event. There were several great drivers signing as well. Dale was signing for only one hour before having to go to other functions. Dales line was by far the most busy, and he was signing a stack of photos that were for that event. He would sign one and slide it to you as you came by, he was trying to get to as many folks as possible. When I came to him I had my own picture I had brought along for him to sign and not knowing how the flow was happening at the time I handed him the photo, I think I was the only person he looked at directly in that whole hour. Dale looked up at me with this piercing glare as to how dare you interrupt the flow I had going, he took my photo though and signed a beautiful autograph that remains one of my most treasured pieces I have collected. That look he had would cut right through steel!

Dale wouldn’t want his kids to be treated the way they were. Teresa is truly evil and is distroying everything Dale built. It’s truly sad situation all around.

Dale Sr. was a force to be reckoned with. Some people loved him others didn't. He was trying to protect Dale Jr. when the accident happened. I was watching the race and it looked like a regular Nascar accident. I couldn't believe later we heard Dale Sr. had died. I know the family members didn't get along well with each other. Rests in peace to those we have lost. J found out after he died that have a black beanie baby for Dale Sr. The rain is fitting for visiting the Earnhardt's Thank you. Jordan for the great video Stay safe and take care always.

Being the avid race fan that I am, for 54 of my 57 years, I thank you for the Petty and this Earnhardt video(s). Met Dale couple times, Kyle and many more drivers. Been to many, many races, have their autographs, even did the RP driving experience at Talladega, my favorite track. My daddy, my hero..I am definitely a daddys girl, took me to my first race when I was 3. Thank you for all your vlogs for I am an avid fan of yours too! 🏁

Thank you so much for braving the rain to do this for us. This was fantastic. Love the Earnhardt family. Dale was our favorite driver. Hearing you share the story about Michael & their friendship made me remember the movie documentary In the Blink of an Eye. It's the story of Dale & his friendship with Michael & then the race where he passed away. It's done really well & is a behind-the-scenes of sorts story. Hope you don`t get sick from getting drenched in the rain.💙☔
