Mirage's backstory is actually really sad, his brothers dying in the war, his mom having dementia, and his stuttering, forgetting things, and mispronouncing words means he's heading down the same path as her. I'm glad he became friends with most of the legends, he's gonna need them later in his life.

Glazed pork chops can be notoriously difficult to get just right. Thank you Babish for showing us your mistakes so we can all learn from them. Made this today and it turned out fantastic. I added raspberry preserves, mirin and a little soy to the glaze which helped a lot as opposed to the pineapple juice which is didn’t have on hand.

as someone who’s played apex since release and also watches every babish video how did I miss this
I did something similar when i was 10. i made a paprika steak sauce that was so filled with paprika it was grainy.

I tried to make a hot sauce a few days back, but since in my tiny town in the middle of Russian nowhere spices are limited to ground "red pepper" and "black pepper" I ended up with a very... sandy sauce that's still not hot enough :\

I think the first recipe is so excessive with cloves to emphasize that Mirage isn't very smart. However, when some of the devs realized people were actually attempting to make the recipe, they released the revised version so it would actually be palatable.
I mean Mirage is pretty smart

This provides a VERY interesting insight. I'm very surprised by how many people must choose consecutive numbers. I would guess that their thinking was that most people would avoid consecutive numbers because it doesn't "look" probable. They tried to out-think the average punter and found that lots of other people did the same. Where there are million of people playing it only takes a minute percentage to have the same idea as you and you're screwed. In reality the best way is to go truly random. There's always the bind of what happens when you select randomly and turn up a series or pattern. I think I'd be tempted to re-randomise in such situations.....
