It's something about these videos that make it more satisfying to watch late at night then at any other part of day.
+ƞɩτʁסȼᴑᴎҁгϵτε1 cuz you're a masochist and you like watching this when hungry perhaps? :p
+ƞɩτʁסȼᴑᴎҁгϵτε1 i think we all watch these in the night haha
+ƞɩτʁסȼᴑᴎҁгϵτε1 it's 1;02 am and here I am!
So true.
My God I literally watched these all night
Gordon likes to keeps his meat simple. It's always going by this rule of thumb if it's pork/beef/lamb:
1. Season meat with salt and pepper
2. Olive oil in, wait for the smoke to come out
3. Meat in, make sure it sizzles or you're not doing it right
4. Press the meat down and let it sear
5. Get a few cloves of garlic, crush them (don't bother peeling) and either thyme or rosemary (depends on what you're cooking), then put them into the pan.
6. Flip your meat, get the herbs under the meat, press it down
7. Add some butter to the pan
8. Baste the meat with the brown butter till you reach your intended doneness
9. Take the meat out, let it rest for the equal amount of time it was in the pan
Salt and pepper my ass
Jeffrey Soong also salmon mate
u dont really rest salmon
Simple and brilliant....love his skills
xPokemonXYZx pork is well done only. No blood in pork, poultry, or fish.
wife: we’re out of lube
gordon: olive oil, in
😂😂😂😂
Got eem
"one finger in front, two behind"
😂😂😂
Legitimate spit take on that one, sir. Well done.
These videos have really helped me improve. Finally had the courage to cook for my dad and he was genuinely impressed when I made this for him... 🥺
Congrats 👍👏
It is not as easy as he makes it look. Or maybe you know that.
I made ramsay recipes for my dad
whats great about gordon is not only what he can teach you to do with your hands, but with your head too, you can use his mindset of baby steps mixed with constant learning/improvement anytime you're trying to get better at something
I tried to let the knife do the work last year but it still hasn't moved
ahahah
I think you need to sharpen it
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😁😂😁😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jeremy McMullan did you season the knife?
I always thought of that everytime Gordon says let the knife do the work but im like "...but im still in control of the knife." 😂
Ramsay could pour me a bowl of cereal and it would probably be the best thing I've ever tasted
this, is almost too accurate :D
This was amazing
Adam Smith lol...so right!
Adam Smith fair point
Adam Smith lol
Typical youtubers: "hi guys!! Welcome to my youtube channel!"
Gordon: "Pan on."
??? They do that?
That's because this is a clip of an episode of Gordon's cooking series
He cut the onions so fast they didn't have the time to make him cry
Underrated
red onions won't make you cry
also, if you dont cut open the root (top nub) of the onion when youre chopping it will not release as much vapors and might help ya not cry when cutting onion
They’re red onions
if I had dollar for every time he said olive oil in
You'll have enough to start an olive oil business.
And the entire customer base could be Gordon Ramsay, making money on selling him oil, and making money on him using it.
You would be broke
Why was I expecting something after the "in"
@@zacharymaneja1207 i thought the comment was unfinished
This is the first video in which I heard Gordon say _"Take your time..."_
Johnny Midnite Ya, it's from his home cooking show. Ironically, he wants the viewers and home cooks to slow down and get it right, but the editing is all jump cuts and food porn to make it look quick and sexy. I've used this recipe several times and it's great, though.
:house fills with smoke due to burning chops:
Me: Beautiful.
I watched this video and 40 mins later I was eating possibly the best chop I’ve ever eaten. The pepper and onions are amazing as well. Way to Chef! I hope you become famous one day. Lol
You gotta zoom in more, I can't see the atoms of the peppers and pork.

We all know Ramsay wasn't thinking of a cigar when he was rolling that leaf.
Chef Ramsay, I love your videos! Being introduced to new recipes is great, but what I really love is all the little things a person can pick up from watching you work. I never knew how to keep chops from curling in the pan. It never occurred to me to score the rind. But now I know, and my food will be better for it!
i love how passionate he is!
"speed cums"
"the most important thing is to get your technique right"
"1 finger in the front 2 in the back"
Yeah I guess he's real passionate
ichigobunny i love you
i'd love to make this but i dont have the thyme
Sam Does I don't want to dis you or anything but I don't got the thyme for joking around. PISS OFF YOU DONKEY!
Olive you need to chill
jack jackal aaaaaayyyyy
John Mark Woodworth aaaaa
jack jackal stop trying to butter us up with puns.
This recipe produced the best pork chops we've ever had. My man usually loves his meat fatty and juicy so pork chops are not his favourite cut but the way they turned out with the butter was so perfect we both asked for more. Thanks for the lovely recipe.
This is one of my very favorite dishes to cook. The basil and thyme add a great deal of flavor to the dish. It looks "chef-like" but it's incredibly simple to make. Everyone likes it. And it cooks fast. Start to end in about 25m.
im so stupid coz watching this at 2 AM !!! now ima chop my laptop and eat it...
+Jo Joe You certainly did not beat me to it. It's 6 AM and I'm watching this drunk and obviously hungry. Cheers mate
+didosification Nothing like drunk cooking. Just throw that shit in. Don't fuck with it, cook it, eat it, sleep well.
+uberalles2 And regardless of what or how you cook it, it'll still be the best meal ever! Love it! lol
Remember: Let the knife do the work.
hot pan
Chef Ramsay if you want to just go ahead and move in with me and my family and cook for us everyday that would be fine with me.
MrMaddoggin lol. Right.
MrMaddoggin
He would die to cook for u
youd become a fatass in one day
I've been binge watching all Gordon's videos. He's a genius
I'll be making these chops and peppers in a minute . Love him, he's THE best chef ever! 💟
No one:
Gordon Ramsey making cereal: “make sure the pans nice and hot”
This guy makes me wanna cook.
I must say Gord Ramsay is the one rare chef who captured the essence of Asian and Western cooking, and apply the appropriate balance on his dishes. That's why his style is hard to copy. Not bad for a guy who used to chase a soccer ball. Salute !!
That's what I admire him for. You could really see how open he was to new (sometimes bizarre) recipes from different countries. I've never seen anyone incorporate two very disticnt flavours as well as Gordon.
I was looking for a roasted pepper recipe to make tonight . . . found this sweet & sour sauteed pepper recipe. Got it frying while practicing the Chef's pan toss. Excellent.
This week, I purchased TWO of his healthy cooking cook books. Absolutely love this Chef.
I made the sweet and sour peppers this afternoon with my lunch and WOW! I am blown away. I went to a farm and picked up 5 pounds of peppers for $2 and a bushel of onions for $6. I needed something to do with all this veg and having seen this episode yesterday...I knew what had to be done. I'm so glad i did it! Now I have a perfect saute and dinner "relish" of sorts to pair with most anything. Make it! You'll be delightfully surprised at the genius of this beautiful brilliant man! ❤
Agreed! Made it tonight. My partner and I were shocked at how good those peppers were and they looked and smelled like such a fragrant and delectable mix of ingredients. Will be making these peppers again, that’s’s for sure.
You have got to be kidding. Anyone who knows anything about cooking would know that.
Another wonderful recipe from a Master Chef!!! Loved the tip on the cuts to prevent curling!! Thanks again for sharing with me a novice but passionate home cook and baker!
I use the same 3 finger rule with my girlfriend.
But have you mastered "Push away & Pull back"?
hahahahahahahha
thewonderfulMRnoob I need an adult
Rams you mean your right hand :D
Ha noice
I remember the old version of this video...more than 10yrs ago...as well as the curry one... all of his videos got me into and taught me to cook
I prepared this dish for my husband tonight and he loved it! I had never made pork chops before and the relish, delicious.
i seasoned it ugly
butbutbutbutbtu you're supposed to season it beautifully!!!!!
i'm a rebel.
so many likes lol
staay nasty
This is not masterchef level :3
Made this, turned out bloody good, very easy and fun to make
Dark Horse Me too and I couldn’t have worded your comment better myself. Wife and I loved it!!
My MOM liked it, I dunno about y’all but moms are very picky when letting sons cook for them.
Ramsay gave me such a dynamite dish that the harshest critic I know was impressed.
@Chairman Lmao not when it comes to food
Me too. Prepped, cooked, and eaten all in under 45 mins
Scroll down past all the "Gordon uses olive oil" comments, the "This is what Gordon's life must be like" cracks, clever observations, people saying I can't cook, fingers-in-bumhole jokes, and finally I find someone who's actually tried the recipe. Thank you.
Gordon's techniques are special & unique, plus his tone of voice adds to the drama. Enjoy your cooking demonstrations! Keep on my dear son!
Nobody comes close to making as good of cooking videos as Gordon Ramsey. Always fast and to the point without missing anything.
The one ingredient used in every single one of his dishes is olive oil.
As well as salt and pepper.
even in rice....
+Theodore Schantz thyme and rosemary?
+Theodore Schantz and Butttaaaarrr!!!!
How to make a fucking bowl of cereal Gordon Ramsay style:
Step 1. Olive oil. I like my cereal greasy and soggy, so add some fucking olive oil to your bowl. Pan on, make the bowl simmer.
Step 2. Cereal. Add some fucking Cheerios, some Frosted flake shit, in a fucking bowl over the stove.
Step 3. Salt and pepper. Add some salt and pepper for flavor even though the cereal already has flavor due to all the chemicals in it.
Step 4. Star anise
Step 5. Hmm. Rich, greasy, soggy, peppery, corn flakes.
I have no plans on making this but I think I've watched it about 8 times by now.
This is one of my favorite recipes to prepare. This recipe never disappoints. Phenomenal, Chef Ramsey.
I learned to cook during quarantine thanks to Gordon and this was the first dish I made. It turned out so good because I followed the instructions. Gordon, if you’re reading this, thank you. I can now survive without take-out food.
This was also the first thing I learnt to cook years ago as well, and was very surprised.
THis guy is my hero.
Stunning dish, seasoned beautifully, absolutely delicious.
I cooked it tonight. It is simple to cook even for me and the flavor is amazing. So many different flavors all at once. Thank you for the recipe.
I found this video years ago when I decided to make a decent cook out of myself. Every one I made this dish for was amazed. So simple, but so good, it hurts. Now watching again before I make it for the first time in a couple years. Thanks, Gordon.
I was in a dark place in my life and then I found Gordons cooking and it really helped me out and now I am working towards opening my own restaurant I'm only 14 but I know I want to do that so if your ever in Saskatoon in 12 years stop by hills. 😀 thanks Gordon

How come ?
+Sơn Nguyễn jump cuts
+William Jones and speed cums, dont forget speed cums
that's so true
thanks to you, everytime I see Ramsay I think "speed cums". 😀
Watching GR’s vids makes you wanna run to nearest Tesco to get some thyme and pork chops and start cooking. Gordon makes cooking look so effortlessly. Love from Malaysia 🇲🇾
I've followed this video and the peppers alone are so good and really easy.
Gordon, I made these and the peppers turned out to be the most amazing treat! Thank you!!
Just made it. It's actually really good. Thanks Gordon.
This video is jam-packed with valuable tips and explanations.
I am grateful.
The chances of you, Gordan, reading this being slim I'd still like to say I love watching your videos. You can hear the passion you have. You can see it in every move you make. Thanks for sharing you knowledge
Me laying in bed eating Doritos at 3am:
that looks easy to make
"Don't peel it, Don't chop it, just knife 'em" XD
I'd never had any kind of confidence in the kitchen before, never having had anyone to teach me. I googled good beginner recipes and found this. It's been an absolute game changer for me. Cooking this with confidence, actually enjoying the results of my own cooking for the first time has opened me up to trying out all sorts of delicious meals I would have been too intimidated by to try previously. Thank you for putting this information out there, the video format really helped a lot in teaching me.
He's so calm it's almost mesmerizing 💗
we can all take the piss, but honestly this man teaches us things to make cooking sooooo much easier than th erest of these youtube tutorial cooks
Mr Ramsey sir, you are my sensai
Joe Rock sensei? senpai? or another language? im confused
well yes sensai would be teacher if i'm not mistaking, and senpai would be second in command
or is it not cool to speak a little japanese, when everyone says ciao instead of goodbye but they don't know any italian
dont take it seriously xD I am just trying to be a grammar nazi here
by the way sensei is teacher in Japanese I think, and I hope you were joking because "ciao" is Chinese
Have a nice day xD
you've got too much time -,-
Joe Rock Ciao means "Hi", not goodbye. "Arrivederci" or "Ci vediamo" means goodbye
Pan on! no time wasted lol
Heh :D
I got a say I enjoy cooking from these videos. Absolutely no wasted time and most of the measurements not fully given, so I work them out according to what I think is right and for my taste.
I always struggled to make a delicious tasting pork chop but with your great tips I finally managed to master a chop. Thank you Chef Ramsey.
I just finished this recipe and it came out as the most amazing meal I have ever eaten. Gordon you have done it again!!!!!
I make this maybe twice a month. The peppers in red wine vinegar really star in this dish. I love pork in almost all forms, but I could just eat these peppers by themselves.
I have these sweet and sour peppers with a lot of things now, so tasty
When you look at a Gordon Ramsay video at 3:00 am, a sh** here we go again
I made this and it is absolutely perfect. All the different flavors compliment each other so well.
Thank you!
Wow these were awesome, Gordon nails it again, most tender Pork Chops I ever made and so good, I did 8 min on each side to give it a little more crisp and caramelize the garlic and thyme a little longer and the peppers were so sweet, I'm making those the next time I do Sausage and peppers...two thumbs up 👍👍
speed comes: chops onion lightning fast
so fucking true bro
Kakha Chedia it true how he say it, you start cutting slow when you start practice then faster as you do more.
Doesn't hurt that his knife is sharp as fuck.
@Rajat Kaushal that's what she said
He's been working in kitchens for decades, so yeah, speed came
"dont worry about the speed"
*meanwhile in Hell's Kitchen*
WHERE'S THE LAMB SAAUUUCEEE!!!!???
You forgot the cursing 🤣
I'm so happy to be cooking through all of these awesome videos. Keep going :)
i love his show its because from the start of the show theres no more intro.hes on point always
All I want is take the food out of the screen and eat it like Gordon😂
Gordon: let the knife do the work
Jason Vorhees: sure
I love how fast and to the point he is
Love your way if cooking. Always love watching it again and again
Just tried this and all i can say is oh my fucking god this is amazing thank you gordon Ramsay!!!. I grilled my pork chops instead so no oil or butter was needed. I marinated the pork with garlic, salt, basil, ground pepper, honey and lemon juice. This made it juicy and succulent and not at all as sweet as it sounds. I served it with cheesy mash potato it was awesome i tell ya.
clearly you really didnt try the recipe, all you have in common with it is salt pepper and pork! :P
What do you mean? I tried the sweet and sour pepper exactly the same way he made it. The pork he made was a simple way to cook pork chop, I prefer my way because it's healthier. The key difference is the sweet and sour peppers the rest is just pork chop fried with spices. You don't have to always follow a recipe by the book or you cease to be creative that's why i wrote down what i did differently.
do you think i could use Worcester sauce instead of the red wine vinegar?
Cuntslaw Sure i don't see why not. Worcester sauce has vinegar in it. i used malt vinegar not red wine. The vinegar is just to give it that sour taste. try it and let me know.
toni fagbure Sumeet Rajpal The confusion was that you left you comment with "I served it with cheesy mash potato" which gave the impression that that was all you served your grilled pork chops.
Was funny to read Sumeet's comment and then your reply because it was just a simple miscommunication problem. Happens to us all from time to time.
Made this tonight followed exactly how he made his and when I tell you it was Delicious
Follow the recipe and your can’t go wrong I completed it with a side of Jazmine rice
3:05 Me everytime my whole family's sleeping.
He's calm in his instructional videos. Didn't know he could be so chill. Must be a gemini.
In this episode, Peppers are held flat; herbs are rolled into a cigar; and Gordon punches parts of a dead pig

Made this several times. Great recipe. Wonderful taste. The peppers with red wine vinegar & basil is outstanding.
First dish from this channel that I tried making, incredible
Just made this! It was f*cking amazing!
I just realized Gordan cuts with his left hand
I have prepared this recipe so many times, it is an amazing dish to serve every week.
This is a very delicious recipe, and easy. I served this for dinner last night.FANTASTIC FLAVORS! Thank you Mr. Ramsey
THAT LOOKS FUCKIN DELECIOUS
Except for the whole garlic clove on the final plate. It isn't exactly something you would want to eat
i'd eat anything Ramsay prepares tbh
Just a garnish
It is FUCKIN DELICIOUS easy to make too!!
the 175 dislikes are 0.5% of the people that Gordon has insulted
Simple, yet amazing
Nicest thing about this video (well, almost the nicest, after the food!) is the way Gordon teaches basic kitchen technique as he goes along. How many other chefs have the confidence to do that?
Did anybody heard o yeah in the background at 1:05
Yeah it's very low...
It's the song lol
Simple, rustic yeah

I love the way gordon slice each ingredients such a masterpiece. Then let the knife do the work. Damn! This man is on another level of cooking such tremendous respect for this guy.
Why am i watching this when i'm hungry..
try while fasting...lol. this is intense for me
not my fault you believe in allah bullcrap

soooooo "allah bullcrap" is incredibly ignorant. have a nice day

1.Olive oil
2.Olive oil
