Ed, i want to use the d beam to control the volume of the layered sounds not affecting the other layer. On my jupiter 50. i want the piano not affected. But i want the strings sound to be controlled by the d beam. Thanks alot sir

thanks finally i've got my answer properly answered in this regard!!
man the official dvd tutorial of Roland Co-opoeration "DVD OWNER"S MANUAL" is still quite not usable, as they didn't do much proper step-by-step demonstrations... just the usual yappa-di-yap.
