The melody of the British and German anthem was composed in France. It was also the first anthem of the French King, the Russian tar, the anthem of Liechtenstein, and the anthem of the king of Norway. The German imperial anthem was the Prussian king anthem before. This anthem "Heil dir im Siegerkranz" is a few years older than "God save the king". Greetings from Germany.

@@mikeor- That is not right. God save the King was published in 1745 and was written in Great Britain. Earlier similar melodies include a Gregorian chant and a harpsichord piece (1619) by John Bull. Traces of the melody can also be found in some of Henry Purcell's works, even the use of the melody head together with the lyrics "God save the King". As is now known, the supposed French descent is wrong, also according to the Oxford Companion to Music.
No the German stole from the British. God save the queen.. Is F DEUTSCHLAND ÜBER ALLES.. germany is the last with the anthem.. Then Austria Hungary. And first Uk
Germany didn't steal anything. The German national anthem refers to the Kaiserlied of 1797 - and that was written during the Holy Roman Empire. Austria also referred to the same song. Thus, both countries use or used the same basis. Therefore one can hardly speak of a theft. The British also didn't steal anything. God save the King was published in 1745 and was written in Great Britain. The fact that Prussia used the song as their not so national anthem, because the German Empire had no offficial national anthem, a little earlier is just a side note, but it has nothing to do with stealing.

Wasn’t ceddin dedden the anthem of the ottomans?
ceddin deden ordu marşı sadece
Some videos seem to use different ottoman marches for its anthem. So, idk
No ceddin deden was never the anthem of the empire. Its simply an army march. Just like Erika for example.
god save the queen german version?
Strophe.

Both are terrible bloody events, how can u even compare two things
Bro historical events with millions of deaths shouldn't be compared like they're movies
t3chnicaly serbia is the cause of the whole war and many ppl dont know due to the treaty of versilles.also iff u know history well then it hurts knowing austrias emperor cried alot for his soldiers.i mean from a nutreal perspective the entante faught because of what they heard.the central powers faught for what happened to them.Ww1 germany really was just helping its friend austria.dunno about bulgaria and the ottoman empire tho.
the Ottoman empire had good relations with Germany and wanted to recover kars and aras that had been annexed by Russia.
Bulgaria wanted revenge on Serbia for not winning Macedonia and losing territories in the second Balkan war
I would say Russia. Austria had all its right to invade Serbia after Serbian nationalist organization committed the murder of Austrian heir Franz Ferdinand, but Russia chose to fight Austria, leading to ww1

Why is the anthem of the German empire similar at god save the queen?
The melody of the British and German anthem was composed in France. It was also the first anthem of the French King, the Russian tar, the anthem of Liechtenstein, and the anthem of the king of Norway. The German imperial anthem was the Prussian king anthem before. This anthem "Heil dir im Siegerkranz" is a few years older than "God save the king". Greetings from Germany.
@@MrMoritz74 ok thanks
@@MrMoritz74 Incorrect, since the descent from France is today considered wrong. This is also referred to by The Oxford Companion to Music. In view of the historical facts, one should bury this fairy tale.
I think that the central powers werent the bad guys and it was not austria that started the war it was clearly serbia for killing arch duke franz ferdinane may he and his wife and uncle rest in peace and the germans for being loyal to their allies may all the dead in the war rest in peace
The Central-Allied Powers Were The Good Guys And The Allies Were Basically Aggressors
German anthem was the same as the British WTF
Because it copied the British, who in turn copied the French. God Save the King came from FRANCE, not Britain.

The British stole Germany's anthem and Germany Austria's.
No the German stole from the British. God save the queen.. Is F
DEUTSCHLAND ÜBER ALLES.. germany is the last with the anthem..
