Instead of “Big Three,” I consider it be “Big Four”: UK, USSR, US plus Republic of China cos its magnificent contribution in fighting the Japanese.
Make sense. France is also often associated with them too.

just imagine USA, China and Russia on the same side for once.
Not the first time
Well before WW2 they really had nothing to do with each of other before china’s civil war and breakup, all the dynasty’s like Qing were isolationist and kind of weak. The USA also was practically Isolationist and the USSR before WW2 was busy with genocides and before that as the Russian Empire lacking industry from 1870-1917
good times never last long
They were all on the same side in WW1
Thank communism for ruining that.
For most of ww2 the Soviet anthem was actually the international. But actually, very good video clean edits and good soundtracks. Can you do a video of “The British Light Infantry” it is a good American Loyalist song.
We know but everybody know the Soviet Union by the Version that started in 1944 and alot of people like the Anthem for the unique Melody 👍
*The Internationale, with an e at the end
But the new anthem (1944) sounds better
@@rome316ae3 that's a matter of opinion. The Internationale being the USSR's anthem for most of the war is a fact.
@@rome316ae3 Still doesn’t matter, historically that was not the anthem of the USSR until 1944. But I still enjoy the video.

Did you know that while Finland was part of the Axis Powers and the Anti-Comintern Pact, they were never a member of the Tripartite Pact due to seeing the Continuation War as something separate from the Second World War and Finland wanted to maintain good relations with the Allied Powers (not including the Soviet Union). Nazi Germany was also constantly nagging at Finland to join, but the answer was always “no”.
Finland never joined the axis they only fought alongside the axis to face a common enemy, that enemy being the soviet union

7:00: It's interesting how the Polish national anthem mentions (Napoleon) Bonaparte, saying that he gave them the example of how they should prevail. Napoleon did this for his mistress, Countess Marie Walewska, who was a Polish Nationalist fighting against Russia during the Napoleonic Wars. Napoleon did not have the idea of an independent Poland existing, as he believed that it may threaten his Empire. However, Napoleon did allow the creation of the Duchy of Warsaw. Even though Napoleon loved Countess Walewska, he did not invade Russia to liberate Poland. He invaded Russia because he wanted to force Tsar Alexander I to follow the Continental System. By the way, the Polish Anthem in this video is exactly the same today, with one verse slightly modified. But both versions still mention Napoleon.
Look buddy, there's no charity in politics, deal with it.
@Alexei I don't know who Dabrowski is. I only understood the connection made with Napoleon.

The Maple Leaf has the words; ''God Save our Queen,'' and the version here is ''God Save the King.'' Big difference.

This time of the British Empire was a nice moment. It was the most modern time at which the Empire was still huge and expansive. Most nations wanted to gain independence before the war but when it hit, the British contacted all its colonies and dominions and asked them to fight with them against Nazism and in return to be given independence. What occurred was a hundreds of thousands of Commonwealth troops participating in the war alongside Britain. It was like a happy ending for the Empire as once it was over, Britain began to set everyone free.
