Young women constantly thinking of themselves as victims increases the degree to which they are “anxious and depressed”, says clinical psychologist Dr Jordan Peterson. “It makes them self-consciousness,” Dr Peterson told Sky News host Rita Panahi. Moreover, Dr Peterson said people “want to be careful of adopting a belief system that allows you to act on your envy”. “Because envy is a very, very, very corrosive motivational force,” he said.
