Woman seriously injured after being struck by SUV

#PACIFICBEACH (San Diego) - August 3, 2020
A 24 year old female was driving her white 2018 Jeep Cherokee eastbound in the #1 lane of 2700 Grand Avenue. A 41 year old female pedestrian was crossing the street southbound. The pedestrian stepped off the raised center median into the path of the Jeep. The Jeep struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with a pelvic fracture and other serious injuries. Her injuries are non life threatening. San Diego Police Traffic Division is investigating.
