    Mongols drink milk tea with salt depending on the area. Western Mongols drink very salty tea. I went to Uvs province few years ago, and i got really thirsty because of the lot of salt consumption kkk :)

      I thought that was salt! But it seemed so unlikely. Well, I have some compressed tea and milk, lots of salt of course, guess I'll have to try it!

    Their grocery store - water, ice out in the snow, milk straight from the cow outside, I like it! Only thing missing, room temp beer.

      Think of camping out in the wilderness without public or private utilities of any kind. In other words, use the open field. Wild life will do clean up I imagine.

      lol I’ve been in Gobi dessert in Mongolia. In hot sunny day i had poo in open field and it’s gone after 5 minutes cos /dung beetle/ ate all of them. They smelled and came to fly to the poo. I saw them , they were around 20

      On the road, you just do your business on the side of the road. But not long ago, ppl are starting to carry eco toilets with them in their car. In a countryside like this, they dig a very deep hole and build a wooden toilet with a distance of 5-10 minutes walk from their home. That's about it

      dogs mostly stay outside with the other animals. And if any baby animal is born early they are taken into the "ger" or "house" to keep them warm and from dying on cold days

    I thought the pollution is very bad in Mongolia. Or is just the capital and large cities? If so wouldn't the snow be unsafe to consume? I'm not trying to be shady, I'm really asking an honest question. I'm from Seattle, and people say our air quality is good, but I would NEVER drink snow melt, unless I had to survive.

    hello....I mean no disrespect and ill will towards the mongolian people and its beautiful culture but im curious about one thing.
    I mean how do wedded couple 'GET IT ON' in the tent if they already had children around since there is no room (privacy)?

      Basically, these people camp away from their summer camp for feeding their animals with uneaten grass during summertime. An ordinary mongolian farmer used to own a couple of gers. One you store your food and utensils. One you make food and process milk and something. During summer camp, they built a couple of gers like that and kids sleep in another ger. During winter kids go to school away from their home and living in dormitory

      Summer in Ulaanbaatar is either too hot or too cold. We cant really stand heat much. When it rains in ulaanbaatar during summer,it's specially cold.You can even see your own breath!

      @@MrDancermgl nope I live here in Ulaanbaatar. And you may have felt that summers here are in perfect condition.But ask any other Mongolian trust me it's cold in Ulaan Baatar and most of us cant really stand the heat. +30 is hot ya know? I always get heat sickness T*T

      Yes! We don’t use sugar in tea. All Mongolian are same all drink tea with salt

      it is still under the snow. so sheep and goats will dig the grass and find it. only livestock that does not dig grass out of snow is cow. in that case, herders dig it for them.

    The men and women are such good friends, amazing to watch. I really like the Jurt house. It is enough for everything, very round and roomy. Sleep, eat do everything. Question is sex with children in the house. Maybe they sleep and maybe they listen.

      could be the well is far, but the most important thing you should know is the snow is vaporated water from the sky. it is pure water, Mongolian air so so clean and fresh, snow is distilled water from the earth. it is healthy too.

      @@sanjidurrahmanchowdhury2807 that tent is called "Ger" "home" if translated right. It"s very warm in the winters and cool in the summers. Its easy to move, and build up again.It's part of our tradition.We have been using Ger for thousands of years

      its a lamb, not a goat. And relax, they are not going to slaughter that early when its still baby. In cold winters these lambs kept in a ger to keep warm
