    im here crying, remembering my late grandparents. how i miss and long for their warm hugs and kisses.
    thank you for the heartwarming docu. this means a lot to me and to other people.

      ARTGER Tongliao, Horqin Grassland. Recently I went to an outer Mongolian restaurant in Tongliao the food is slightly different but delicious. Now back in the US it’s not easy to find fresh, home-taste goat meat...plus they throw away all the good parts, organs, fat and bones lol

      Ashwant Bikram Shah yea that might be good! But, i am a mongolian girl who works in the kitchen in lunar year. I do all the dishes and prepare the food. It is not that easy, but I am proud of myself.

    Does the meat and fat taste ok being cold...I would prefer to eat it right after it’s being done cooked especially when most of their meat is boiled in water.

      It actually tastes better to me when it's cold. The fat when warm is very oily but when its cold its not. I like to eat the cold meat with hot milk tea.

      Patrick Leahy Yes! These are bones of sheeps & goats! It's traditional game which their kids playing in every lunar new year.. Game name is "ALAG MELHII" if it like translated: "Checkered Frog" kind of..

      Some. But they don't exactly livee in an area that's super hospitable to growing things. Also, it's cultural.

      They do, in summer. Also, if they live in UB, they can eat vegetables at restaurants all year round since vegetables can be grown indoors in restaurants, under growlights, during the harsh winter.

      Yes, snuff is a smokeless tobacco. Smokeless tobacco is very popular out there. You snort it through the nose, however they are just smelling it.

      Yeah, Kazakh people has Islamic religion. But their religious tradition influenced by their life style, which is nomad. So, a bit different than other Islamic countries.

      They are ordinary people. Rich people are westernized and live in houses or penthouses and usually live in city’s house residential areas. One of them called “Zaisan”. Or mega riches usually go to warm countries in winter times.

      @Hello World It's called Chinese new year everywhere. It's based on the Chinese farming calendar. Why would nomads use an agricultural calendar. Did Mongols invent

      Actually we use different calendar. It used be on same date since Kublai khan but since 1921 when we got our independent we started using different calendar
