@@donjuan8480 thank you!
Verry helpfull video!
@@frits5145 Osú! Thank you 🙏
Dope!
The first time I saw it was on Craig Jones: Power Ride instructional 2 years ago. He referred to it as a "Rear Ezekiel"
@@Kimurasav yeah that name makes sense but what about arm in RNC then?
First time I saw it was the ruotolos in a competition when they were like 13
Love your videos 💪🏼🫡
@@BoyWithUtters thank you 🙏🙌🏼

@@Nick-gy1yz 🙏
Looks very nice
Osú! Thank you!
Nice ❤! But a bit more detail on the elbow lat finish would be fantastic.
@@ablabla880 thank you! Yeah it’s hard to show it exactly but maybe next time we show that solo? But we also really want to keep the videos short 🙌🏼
@@EnergiaMartialArts Fully agreed. Figured it out by choking my non BJJ friend. Checked the Rest of your Videos. Great stuff!
@@ablabla880 thank you happy to hear that! 🙏🙌🏼 hope your friend is okay hahah 😅
🔥🔥🔥
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing. Ruotolotine btw 😂

Arm-in rnc
@@jettekko5044 yup! Most logical name
This is just the no gi arm-in Ezekiel popularized by Ryan Hall and used by Braulio Estima to submit Marcelo Garcia at ADCC 2009. You could see it as an inverted brabo choke (since the arms are switched), but really it is a standard arm triangle/kata gatame that has been rotated slightly to choke with the blade of the wrist - the same way an ankle sankaku is a rotated standard triangle. The "real" arm-in RNC has the lock at the armpit rather than at the neck, i.e. like an anaconda choke rather than a brabo choke: ua-cam.com/video/L_Y_KcHs6r0/v-deo.htmlsi=-Vi2MpEMrvHhuNBl
This is the single most confusing comment I have read today.
@@dagfinnhessenpaust5896 yes we mention that in the beginning of the video right? Thanks for sharing that link I’ll check it out! 👊🏼

@@user-mb3cm8wi9m hahah I’ll ask her 😅👍🏼
This uke also got a fat ass dont you think?
front choke/strangle defense too pls : one hand and both hands, on floor, against wall and general too

🙌🏼🙏
I like it. But I’d go for the crank. Cranks change people. Lol
@@thebaneking4787 haha savage! I feel sorry for your trainingpartners 😝😜
Reverse D’arce or Invert Darce would be easier to memorize
Good call! But wouldn’t then arm in RNC be even more logical?

@@michaelchen3208 😅👊🏼
Could be seen as a “no gi reverse Ezekiel” as well 🤷
@@synthamesk yes sir! 👍🏼
Barce / D’arce / Farce / Garce / Harce/ Jarce / Larce / Marce…A Lot of names to go. Haha may be Garce is easier after Marcelo Garcia
@@michaelchen3208 ahah love that analogy! 👊🏼
Kade makes V2 of no-Gi BJJ ❤
@@Pifagorass v2?
Goes straight to the submission using the acrobatics.
@@Pifagorass aight 🙌🏼
Oh, so now we can all change the names if we are somewhat (because there are much better that ruotolo) champions..
@@trueinsider513 I agree! That’s why in the first few minutes we go over some other names and how Braulio hit this on Garcia in 2009. What do you think should be the appropriate name?
awesome like always 👍👍
more techniques in GI 🥋🥋
show the same technique in GI and no gi on the one video
please thanks
@@sandra-hc9yi yeah the problem is that it would take a lot of time to get dressed and switch each time and the videos will get too long 🙏
@@EnergiaMartialArts record videos separately 😁😁
@@sandra-hc9yi hahaha you are welcome to apply for a job application here 🙌🏼🙏 we will always try and improve but this channel is already taking up so much time. What would really help is your support on Patreon! We drop a new free instructional there soon
Def closest to a back darce imo
Back darce sounds logical but can you imagine a coach yelling that from the side lines? Isn’t Ruotolotine then less confusing?
We are not calling it the ruotolotine
@@Zilla131 what would be your suggestion then?
@@EnergiaMartialArts I just think of it as a darce from the back or an arm in RNC but idk people call everything different 👍
@@Zilla131 okay fair enough but my question would be how would I coach my athletes when I say “go for that reverse back darce? Or arm in rnc”? That’s a lot of words and very open for misinterpretation right? Ruotolotine is one word and not that confusing. I’m not saying it’s what I’m going with either but I just love to ponder on these things and see what others think.
@@EnergiaMartialArts yup fair point but there’s also arm in triangle and stuff like that if just say preference
@@Zilla131 yes I agree 👌🏼
Routolitine? Really? Estima vs. Garcia 2009
Did you actually watch the video?
@@user-hj4sr0qwOm did you hear me mention that straight in the first few minutes of the video? 😅
@@EnergiaMartialArts Naming this after someone who didn't invent it is ridiculous. I have a legitimate question, do you think the routolos are natural? They claim they're natty but they literally never get tired and go 100mph for their entire matches, and can match craig jones (admitted trt use), felipe pena and mica galvao's strength (caught with PEDs and are known to be extremely strong and durable) despite being lighter, scrawny and having no contractile muscle tissue whatsoever. Everything about the routolos screams EPO, this is why bjj will never be a mainstream sport like mma, it's a really dirty sport. the fact that they train out of andra galvao's gym is hilarious too because everyone that competes from that gym juices but somehow they're the only ones who claim natty but are winning ADCC lol. Every ADCC winner has juiced from rafa mendes, cobrinha, rousimar palharis, marcelo garcia, andre galvao, gordon ryan, roger gracie, brualio estima, buchecha etc etc.
@@user-pd9ti1uu9z I never said how to name it right? Just giving some options and asking you guys here 😉
Man it’s hard to tell, and I’m no expert at the subject. Let me put it like this; I think at high level and (mainly because there is no testing) I believe almost everyone is on something. What exactly and how? I’m not sure. But I wouldn’t be surprised
Call it anything but a RuolLoTine it just sounds stupid, and they didn't even start it.
@@chadmcmahon1981 as we mention in the beginning of the video right? What do you think should be the appropriate name?
@EnergiaMartialArts we just call it a head and arm from back, lol.
@@chadmcmahon1981 it’s very logical but wouldn’t you agree that’s a mouthful to call as a coach to a competing athlete?
@EnergiaMartialArts idk, if I'm coaching and you're competing and already have the back, what's quicker for me to say 1.Darce or 2. Whatever else someone calls it.
@@chadmcmahon1981 wait you didn’t say darce, you said ‘head and arm from the back’ right? Also the darce is complete different move. Second, Ruotolotine is one quick word right? So I’m not arguing with you but simply stating that there is merit to naming it that just for practical reasons wouldn’t you agree?
