- Arrowhead Game Studios' Helldivers 2 is an out-and-out enjoyable experience, where dying is as essential as carpet-bombing alien insects. However, past the uber-patriotic tutorial, it could do a better job of explaining some things.
Did you know you can switch firing modes on your gun or ping different locations? How about that Super Credits, the premium currency, are earnable in-game (and at a pretty rapid pace)? How about the various Eagle Strike skills that are usable more than the specified number of times in a mission? Or that Chargers are much easier to defeat than you think?

It's because everyone was still holding their "sprint" key. Suddenly you stand up right into the line of fire lmao. I'd assume close to 85%+ of all players died right off rip to that exact same thing

I play with randoms. I wish more people would take time to explore a little. They be in such a rush to extract and we miss out on some good stuff
the problem is that if you don't extract you don't get any samples which you need to upgrade your ship, and it takes 60 common just to get the first upgrade
True but at the same time taking too long means you won't have time to extract, plus alot of times teams get so caught up fighting constant waves that they waste lots of time.

@@greenblood1211 You can always dropoff samples at the extract and go out and get more from side objectives as they often give you 2-5 samples per side objective. Unless you are playing on SuiM or higher difficulties I don't see how going for side objectives harms you more than helping you progress faster.

I met a America guy, I'm in Australia and it's some of the best gaming experience I've ever had, no lag, just a fun time, I encourage people to use there microphones and meet new people

i just got kicked for being the only one talking 😑 literally got most the kills and did all the objectives
this game is addictive lol, i wish they let us change the color on our amours but also i hope the game keeps getting content as we go on
Another tip is on automaton planets, missions that have you destroying relay stations, you can just shoot off the relay panels from a distance instead of running there and using grenades or a stratagem. Saves time and helps you focus on other objectives
similar thing for sending a rocket at the termanid spore towers. you can do it from miles away and dont need a stratagem

Tips are really great but not having overlayed footage of the topic at hand is lazy and lacked the needed context for certain tips. Give this video a C+.
A quick way to remember the Reinforce strategem is literally drawing a cross then point up. It's literally Up Down Right Left Up, so like draw a cross then point to god to respawn your buddies.

Here's a tip, when you get in your ship and head to your globe to start a mission your see quick play you'll press it and most likely say failed lobby, it takes a while but keep trying and your eventually be put in a game. It took me around 30 times last nite, but it does work, eventually.
You can also lead chargers into rocks to stun them
Me and my buddies all just played the game on super easy, then ran fast missions, which is how we leveled our helldivers to around level 35 fast, then we played the harder levels from there
I think I overthink games does it matter what missions or worlds I play?
Is there not a big XP difference? Or is it just that much quicker on super easy
@@donjon5442 Unlike a lot of other games exp is not what you want to be focused on, especially in the beginning. No, your focus should be on the currency’s and gathering as many Samples, Metals and Super Credits as possible.
XP does matter if you just want to get leveled up to BUY upgrades for your character, meaning weapons and artillery weaponry!
We were getting around 250 to 300 xp per mission, which were only running us about 5 minutes, and we'd finish with about 90% of the remainder of the time and getting that bonus as well.
So ya wanna play on novice and kill the boss asap, then extract (be sure u have 4 players for Max xp and you'll also get the yellow currency for buying new artillery weaponry which we were averaging around 1200 for every 3 to 5 minute rounds on easy buy again you need 4 people for that 1200 currency and 250 to 300 for the xp to unlock those higher 15 to 20 levels to get those amazing weapons!
Me and my buddies just play video games to have fun so we like to play on the hardest challenge we can survive so we don’t get bored and fall asleep
I learned yesterday when loading the SEAF artillery shells, if you continuallly drop/pickup the shell you can move with it 2xs faster. Saves so much time!
The autocannon also closes up bug holes/mech factory, with a much more predictable trajectory at long range

If you want to level up fast go to easy difficulty missions and complete them as fast as possible. By far the best way to level up, get over 200 xp in a 6 minute mission
What's the Orbital AirBust Strike? Sounds... fun

Save you requisition credits for when you level up. The grenade launcher is a beast. Eagle strikes dominate
Teammates tend to run towards Eagle strikes which always leads to multiple deaths. The second I hear "Eagle" I book it back about 30 ft
Can confirm, you can frag your way into buried containers. I did it myself! My container had super credits in it.
I found a great trick myself, that probably isn't intended. Im on ps5. Got it today.
If you sprint right after a dive you can sprint forever with 0 dodge bar.
Probably a understated tip: Stop attacking every automatron/bug especially the ones on patrol

Try not to drop air strikes on your teammates. There’s nothing worse than panic throwing an air strike and killing half your team.

Autocannons can destroy bug nests and robot factories, also chargers can be killed easily with the auto shotgun, a full mag and maybe some pistol rounds in the butt and they’ll pop
You missed some info in tips, for example, in tip #7 you can use the Autocanon as well to blow up nests and of course any other aereal attack or orbital attack, the tip #14 not only the recoiless rifle pushes someone whis is behind but the rocket auto turret do as well. Another very important tip is to avoid melee combat when mortar is active. I played more than 30h so far and I cant tell that mortar shells do kill more helldivers that the bugs usually do LOL.
I like changing the stratagams controls to I,K,J,L so I can run while doing it.

Didn't die from the turrets, but they hurt me so the thing after the turrets that hurts you to learn heal killed me. Was pretty funny cause I thought "how do I heal me when I'm dead?" luckily I got clones to replace me.

The real tip with random patrols that are separate from objectives is not to engage them at all. You're wasting ammo and taking risks for no benefit.

This game absolutely needs some type of Company/Platoon mechanic to work in place of guilds.
“Don’t shoot them under ANY circumstances.” But you can shoot them to wipe out horde 😂

a lot of people didnt know that pressing shift after diving would make them stand up again, getting them killed. Almost every youtuber I've watched has died this way.

The only thing I dislike about this game is the time limit.
Just use autocannon for bug nests, it's way more accurate.

my TIP is that u can turn your hip fire targeting reticle on at all times..... not shur y thy set it to off :( because i run & gun shootty & like never aime

You can also blast red doors. They just might need a bit more kick from red barrels. No issue with grenade launcher, though.

You don't need to be extracted?
No, once you complete the mission, you’re done. Extracting gets you better and more rewards but it doesn’t affect the completion of the mission. You’re an expendable helldiver anyways so it’s technically cannon lol
@@user-oh9tv8ul4c Then how do you leave the mission? I was on a team mission, the dudes didn't clear the mission objectives because they thought time was too low and they had to extract, so we naturally failed the mission.
@@Syrin23 you can’t just leave. If you guys run out of redeployments, or you don’t board the plane on time, you’ll still complete the mission if you did all the primary objectives. But if you just leave the mission you don’t get anything.
I was curious about this. I was soloing a hard mission, just had the last objective left but my time ran out and I extracted instead. Would it have been better to complete the objective without extracting?
Yes, as mentioned, completing mission = good, extracting is optional.
You should use video of the tips you are explaining, not just random clips

Step 1. If they had quick match actually work on ps5.
My brother was playing PC and had the same issue. So may be a universal thing.
Turn cross play off, and then spam the quick play till it works.
Just zoom in on the world there should be multiple squads you can join doing different missions

Had the same issue since noon. Ps5, I turned crossplay off and kept trying, eventually found a group after about 10 tries.
You should really add according footage to the topic you're discussing/giving tips on, instead of these random clips of other things.
