Also another tip: armor rating is broken rn. It takes just as many hits to die in light armor and heavy armor
@@jonothanrennert3098 I bought a light armor and died in 1 hit from those big bugs that spray acid. Switched to heavy armor and it took about 3/4 of health rather than getting 1 shotted

Tip I've learnt recently: You can rebind your stratagem input keys to different keys to allow for mobility when inputting stratagems. You can still input your stratagems while on the run.
Another tip I learnt is samples persists where you drop them. So you can drop them at the extract zone just in case you're planning to go into an area where you're likely to die and drop the samples somewhere irrecoverable.
Nice tip about those samples, never thought of that
I have a helpful tip for those pesky chargers. Using some kind of anti-tank weapon, aim for one of the legs. Usually one shot from anti-tank or recoiless rifle will Crack the armor then just unload on the exposed leg with primary weapon, they go down very fast.
Wait, what do you mean you can drop samples? Like the upgrades for the ship that you collect? How do you manually drop them? I’m on PS5, if I’m understanding this right and anyone knows please tell me how to do this.

Teaching bugs about democracy was never something I never knew I needed in my life🤪
A good tip, is if your on key card and mouse, you can rebind your stratagem keys to your arrow keys, so then you can move and type in the codes at the same time!
I'm glad you covered samples here. It seems people are under valuing samples when they're the most valuable resource. It's the only resource you don't get for just completing missions. So go out of your way to get samples
The artillery gun is great especially that mini nuke

Just getting into a game in matchmaking is a total crapshoot. Hammering quick play until it actually let's you join.
I love this WCG program and the open dialogue style, but I do wish that the tips were bookmarked and timestamped
A lot of HD2 videos seem to only focus on the Terminids, the Automatons deserve some guided democracy too.

Maybe it's just because I'm still a lower level but I really don't find the bots that fun.
I unfortunately discovered the "dead mans switch" option when we were all waiting for our extraction at the last minute, I had the land mine strategem loaded up and ready to go, I was lining up the optimal placement and then BOOM, killed from behind, and then the mines spawned all around me where we were supposed to extract.. everyone on my squad died due to the mines spawning at the extraction point, they used the last reinforce on me before they died, I was able to escape but at what cost? ... at what cost?! ; _ ;
I find Indirect fire with the grenade launcher to be very effective. If you aim directly upwards and fire all 10 rounds you have a pretty gnarly mortar shelling approximately 40 meters in front of you. I've been experimenting with it and it rocks if you get the placement right.
Grenade launcher is fantastic and not just for lairs.
Practice with throws (throws not launches) and you can hit a lair on a large hive (more than about 4 lairs) from across the crater (I think that’s 30+ meters … ping to check distance).
The real benefit to the launcher is 20 additional grenades.
Armor with the engineering perk gives 2 more regular grenades.
More weapons than just the grenade launcher will handle a lair.
Don’t be shy with resupplies. If you’re going to be in a location to clear, drop supplies before you need them. You’ll need them before you move on. Get them out on the field so you have access immediately.
Supply pack gives grenades and you can also use it on yourself by picking the pack (5 on keyboard, I think maybe down arrow on controller) then click the use button.
Spend time to practice with grenades. Make sure you can hit a distant lair. Hit a breach. Get it to the underside of a pausing crusher.
Booster is available to start people will full ammo/stims/grenades.
Love the format. Doing a tips video in the podcast studio is a like a live VO.

Anyone notice the salute animation cycle doesn't loop properly? It's such a freaking fun game
It loops but it isn't a clean loop (seamless) they need to lengthen or add some animations to it to hide the loop

I don't know if this is true, but it seems before a bug breach, there's a bug that emits orange smoke, just like calling in more bugs, so I think killing it will stop the bug breach.
Yes that's what they were talking about in the video, the smaller bugs and even the medium sized ones will stop and emit a smoke from their mouth that starts bug breaches. Kill then before it goes off and no breach

Armor is currently bugged and regardless of armor rating you die to the same amount of dmg so just pick what looks cool/what passive you like, Light armor is currently BIS

4:10 😅 I was talking to another player the other day. He told me that every time someone picked up "his" samples after he died he'd kill them before extraction and take them back because he didn't know they were shared. Dude is level 15. I wonder how many randos he's blasted to the big democracy in the sky.

You can also use the auto cannon to destroy nests even easier 👀 the grenades have to get into the hole but the auto cannon just has to hit the orange part

If you played the first one, you should know most of these.
Tip 7 is REALLY entry level stuff. Sounds like you guys haven’t gotten to the higher difficulty and seen all the enemies yet.
Armor penetration can knock armor off enemies. Pay attention to the icon of bullets bouncing off a shield. If you see that you’re ineffective.
Most armored units have weak spots that are visually apparent. Shoot the weak spots. Grenades also work.
Good anti armor will knock armor off a target and let regular weapons do full damage. This is mostly a thing with crushers and titans. The armored tick is so easy to reach the weak spot it doesn’t really matter that it’s armored.
Rail gun is king. Spear is required by a team member for high level automaton levels. Auto cannon or auto cannon sentry or rocket sentry are great vs armor. Recoilless and disposable are all solid choices.
Also plenty of the orbitals eat up heavy armor targets.
Armor penetration AR isn’t good. The armor pen DMR is very good vs robots and bad vs bugs.
Auto cannon, railgun, spear. One of those is needed by the designated heavy killer. Recoilless can work fine at lower levels.
Servers crashing and not getting fixed for this long is embarrassing

I’m confused, Pal lWorld blew up way more than Helldivers 2 and it currently has more concurrent players. Why no tips for that game? Missed opportunity in my opinion.

343 wasted years on Halo Infinite and not one drop pod scene… at best there was one in a trailer.

okej plz stop saying things like that u get more powerfull the more lvl u have or that there are more powerfull stuff later in the warbond there isnt. what u get is more options and sure options are power but this is not a linear game like an rpg were u get more and more powerfull gear or abilitys. in helldivers u get options, new tools and solutions for problems u face or are about to face.

Couldnt agree more dude. It all comes down to preference and specific situations in missions. Also those that say the game is p2w havent actualy played the damn game. The game is insanely good and fun as hell. You can build for heavy hitter, mob grinder, support guy, rain from above, etc.
