    I’m January i got a heart scare and was told to go vegan and stop alcohol and sugar. The difference in my joints was like night and day. For as long as I can remember, joint pain had dogged my life. I could never sleep because my back was so painful. Other times I could hardly walk with hip pain. After about 3 weeks of this cleansing diet, all my pain went. I couldn’t believe it. I was like a new woman. Your video has confirmed why I felt so much better. Thank you for all your tips. You are fabulous!

    Changing my diet to essentially paleo/wholefood was the best thing I ever did, as I was getting horrendous neurological pain and acid reflux. I've been diagnosed with FND which I'm sure is related to my perimenopause. HRT hasn't worked for me, so onwards and upwards with good nutrition.

    I am sorry but i will disagree with you that whole grains are good for our digestion. I listen to Dr. Eric Berg and his opinion is different. I did experiment on myself following his instructions and I now totally agree with him that grains are hard on digestion and can cause inflammation so as carbs. It’s doesn’t matter if it’s organic or not. I feel Moore energy now and my skin color had changed to glowing and I was able to get rid of Hpylori after several years. From dairy I only drink kefir I make my own, yogurt isn’t as good since it’s full of sugar.

      Hi Jay
      That's very interesting, unfortunately, dairy can contribute to quite a few symptoms!

    I don't eat dairy or meat, so no flare ups unless I drink a ginger ale. I try to sneak one in sometimes, haha but I can't get away with it. My legs will ache if I drink a fizzy ginger ale.
    I eat potatoes all the time with no issues. I do eat too much sugar still. Hard to give that up and I keep saying I will, but is it worth living if you don't have chocolate? haha Not dark chocolate. I could give that up easily.

      Hi Sherri
      It is important to have a nice treat now and again but it is finding ones that don't cause problems. I found that cider, even an organic one, would give me night sweats!

      It's the high fructose corn syrup that is making you sick. Read labels it's in things you would never think of. Dark chocolate is good for you but look at the percentage.

    I just read on a very reputable website that bell peppers are one of the best anti inflammatory veg to have in the prevention of OA but you say to avoid. So much conflicting info as so many people have so many opinions so its so confusing.

      @AvogelCoUk  4 роки тому

      Hi Irena
      Yes, it is very confusing! We tend to follow the view that foods that are members of the deadly nightshade family can cause inflammation in some people so are best avoided where inflammation is already present.

    Thanks, my worst symptoms are severe joint pains. Will start the diary....to achy. Will digestive enzymes help???

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Ranu
      Digestive enzymes can help short-term but if taken for too long could make your own digestion lazy. Herbs to help would be bitters such as Centaurium, dandelion, rocket and artichoke

    I take warfarin so can't eat much in the way of green leafy stuff! Can you suggest anything else?

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  6 років тому +1

      In your situation you do have to be very careful so it is best to discuss your diet at your Warfarin Clinc and get their advice as to what you can eat, tell them you do want to improve your diet and see what they say

    I get joint pains when i give up dairy

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  5 років тому +1

      Hi Sanna
      This is a really common response. High calcium intake (such as from dairy) can detrimentally affect the joints so when you cut out dairy two things can happen:
      1 A cleansing of the joints can occur which can cause discomfort to start with
      2 The sudden loss of calcium from the dairy can allow calcium deposits (which are not good) in the joints to break down and this can cause discomfort or pain. In this situation taking a high dose of magnesium can facilitate the process and this should decrease or stop the pain
