Wow, i'm just so stoked that the building that was Miracles is still there. Just like in the movie Breakin 2 i thought that after all this time it would be torn down condemned etc. It's just so comforting to know that some "stupid shoppin centre" didn't end up in it's place in real life.
I simply love the fact that you go back and forth in between the film and the location which it saves us the viewer from going back and forth in the video... thank you!
This takes me back! I was just a kid when my older brothers took me to see this in the theater in the Bay Area. People were break dancing in the lobby before and after the movie. There will never be another decade like the 80’s! Great vlog!
I added that as well.... It wasn't a movie prop & if you remember the brother from boulevard nights was the brother from American Me who killed his little brother Lil Puppet
This gave me the chills. I grew up watching the Breakin’ movies. It’s amazing to see the locations. You’re doing a beautiful job these videos. I absolutely love it.
I saw this movie when I was 9 yrs old with my mom & went thru a break dancing obsession. It's great to see the original locations from one of my favorite childhood movies. Thanks for this :)
The rotating type set you described, was also utilized in Lionel Ritchie's Dancin on the Ceiling video, which shot not long after this movie was released
Very good content. You’ve done an exceptional job in tracking down the locations and pin pointing the extra details. This bring back a lot of memories from my elementary days.
I was a Sophomore in highschool wearing my Nike suit, phat laces, DJin, pop-lockin'..thanks for making us feel like real O.G.'s. You are on point with all areas!
Absolutely amazing. As a huge, huge fan of the 80s I look forward to working my way through all your videos. The nostalgia hits right in the feels :) Much love from the UK
As always, another outstanding job! You match up the spots perfectly and do them with an informative - and when applicable - a comedic twist that always makes me laugh. I’ll never forget when I first saw this movie in theaters and saw Turbo in that rotating room. The dancing, the song, it was an amazing scene then and I still love rewatching it now. Thanks for doing this movie.
Another great video - I got a kick out of you knowing they used that same prop in “Elm Street” great research - Thx for putting a smile on my face - Cheers!!
It's great to see how these locations have changed. I'm always impressed by how much better things usually look in LA neighborhoods now. The houses and everything look less run-down than they did in the 1980s and even the '90s. That breaking thing was so short lived, it seems. I think by the time it made it to the 1984 Olympic closing ceremony show, with Lionel Richie performing, it had "jumped the shark". By '85 it seemed to have disappeared.
Another great location video. Nice one Kurt!!! Just watching these, I can see the amount of time and effort taken for this. Not just the finding of the locations and filming but the editing of the movie content into the final cut! Much appreciated.
Excellent as usual. It’s amazing how few European cars there were on the roads of L.A. Back then compared to now. When I was a kid I loved the American cars on show in movies 🇮🇪
Awesome vid. Brings back great memories from my past, especially the days when I used to hangout at Radio Tron with my older cousins before it was demolished. 🙏🏼✌🏻
INCREDIBLE! Thanks for that amazing time machine ride Kurt brings back great memories and your locations, content etc continues to get better with each video. Oh wow and who didn’t have a crush on Lucia (Sabrina Garcia) 😍 also glad you mentioned both Adolfo & Bruno RIP
55 Fremont Place, Hancock Park was also Rocky Balboa's mansion in Rocky III. For some reason, production used 56 Fremont Place for his mansion in Rocky IV.
That first house were Ozone lived was used in Boulevard Nights. Kurt, the best dance battle in the 80s was in the move Beat Street…keep up the great work braduh. You should have asked me about City Hall. I could’ve have gotten you in
I still got the 'I believe in the beat' record that was the last song in this movie. Breakin', or 'Breakdance' as it was named in Europe, this one and BEAT STREET made me dive deeper into graffiti, which I am still doing today at almost 50. Great video!
Kurt, anyone ever tell you that you sound like Norm Macdonald? Love the videos man 🙌🙌 This was in my Top 5 movies as a kid. Great trip down memory lane.
Incredible. Thanks for doing this for all of us. I always wanted to visit this location because this movie inspired me to dance. Rest well Shabba Doo AkA Ozone
This is so amazing 80's life. I had been waiting for you to do 'Beakin 2' filming locations and you did it, thank you again 80's life. How did you find all these right locations from the movie?
Ok I’m gonna be honest..wen I first came across ur videos I was like, ehh 2much talking! 😐 but then u made me laugh, like a good laugh, not a chuckle..and now every video I’m cracking up 😂 thanks for that ❤ ur the man!
Awesome video Kurt! Love how you got the crane style shots. Really love how you are showing the scene and the current locations now and using the google images when you can't get the shot. Props for really making the channel better.
I can't believe how bad I freaked out watching this video. Actually I can cause I always dreamed of seeing those locations and what they look like today, rest in peace Ozone and Pop n Taco🙏🏾..
Love you videos man! My boyfriend was an extra in Breaking 2. You can see him in this video 10:25. The guy on the far left wearing a long sleeve button down gray shirt and gray pants.
best dance movie of all time son. you THE TRUTH for making this beautiful video. god bless and stay up!!! **i'm near positive Gorum Globus ain't paying to have no shed (Turbo and Ozone's place) built for production. pretty much guarantee anything used in this movie was as-is. (for ex repurposing the Nightmare on Elm St spinny set)
Man one of my childhood 80’s movie favorites. The music was great as well. Isn’t the Uneda medical factory from Return of the living dead down the street from Miracles?
Wow, i'm just so stoked that the building that was Miracles is still there. Just like in the movie Breakin 2 i thought that after all this time it would be torn down condemned etc. It's just so comforting to know that some "stupid shoppin centre" didn't end up in it's place in real life.
I think we have all gone back in time!!
I simply love the fact that you go back and forth in between the film and the location which it saves us the viewer from going back and forth in the video... thank you!
Awesome. Glad you're enjoying the videos. Thank you for watching!
This takes me back! I was just a kid when my older brothers took me to see this in the theater in the Bay Area. People were break dancing in the lobby before and after the movie. There will never be another decade like the 80’s! Great vlog!
Fantastic Great what you did, at miracles the interaction.
Now I miss the 80s even more.
This person does GREAT and THOROUGH work and research, great job..👍😎
Thank you!!
Also Ozone and Turbo's house depicted in the movie , was also used as the main house for the movie " Boulevard Nights".
I added that as well.... It wasn't a movie prop & if you remember the brother from boulevard nights was the brother from American Me who killed his little brother Lil Puppet
I appreciate that you are punk rock but you give love to hip hop.
Absolute 80's classic. Lots of good memories . Great video
That pavement repair that's still there after decades is mind blowing!
Right?
What is the city public works dept up to. Still haven't fixed that since the 80s ?!?!
Excellent job! Great movie 🎥
This gave me the chills. I grew up watching the Breakin’ movies. It’s amazing to see the locations. You’re doing a beautiful job these videos. I absolutely love it.
Another awesome one, Kurt! Love the bit interacting with the cast outside the theater.
That was awesome
I saw this movie when I was 9 yrs old with my mom & went thru a break dancing obsession. It's great to see the original locations from one of my favorite childhood movies. Thanks for this :)
Yes! I interviewed Boogaloo Shrimp and we talked about this music heavily. Love ur work. Keep it up

You're quite the detective!
Thank you!
You are definitely the most entertaining filming locations UA-camr.
Yes!! I have been waiting for this one.
I remember seeing this as a kid and totally falling in love with Lucia! GOOOOD LAWD!!!!!
I just watched this movie for the first time today & now it's one of my favorites
Cant say it enough so cool to see all this and thank you for all your hard work
Great details on this one…so in depth as always. I loved the fake cameo scenes 🤙🏼😂🕺🏻💃🏻🕺🏿
All I have to say is we were the lucky ones to be young and alive to experience the decade that was the 80s
Another great video - I got a kick out of you knowing they used that same prop in “Elm Street” great research - Thx for putting a smile on my face - Cheers!!
Man I relive my 80,s every time I watch your videos. Keep up the good work.
Another amazing video. I love this movie,. Lucinda Dickey is from my hometown of Hutchinson Kansas.
How are you Jessica, do you know who I am?
These movies partly got me into dancing and Electro as a kid! 💙 🙏
Awesome
DOPE!!!!.....Oneof the greatest 80's flciks!
Great job. Great attention to detail as well as always. You've gleamed the cube .
This man was surgical hunting down these iconic filming locations. Love it!
Thank you for the good memories 🥺 #80sLife
Awesome video Kurt 👍. Great work finding these locations
Awesome Video, I noticed that the house you show in the beginning of the video is also the house used in my favorite movie Boulevard Nights
It's great to see how these locations have changed. I'm always impressed by how much better things usually look in LA neighborhoods now. The houses and everything look less run-down than they did in the 1980s and even the '90s.

Excellent as usual. It’s amazing how few European cars there were on the roads of L.A. Back then compared to now. When I was a kid I loved the American cars on show in movies 🇮🇪
Great video as usual. Lots of fun. I think as long as you do those humorous skits in a tongue in cheek way, it can’t fail. 👍
So cool! Thanks for the awesome video!!!

Would be great kurt if you ever did locations of Beat Street. Im pretty sure its never been done.
Great work like always man!!
Lol love those interaction skits, was a bit disappointed that you didn't bust any moves, but I guess you didn't want to outshine the actors. ;)
Love you videos man! My boyfriend was an extra in Breaking 2. You can see him in this video 10:25. The guy on the far left wearing a long sleeve button down gray shirt and gray pants.
