As a British guy with no hope of going to the States unless I magically come across a plane ticket and some money I cant think of a movie location more magic then standing next to the house from ET. Mr Chopsticks, same here!! She doesn't understand what I am so fascinated about. I just love seeing where something (especially a movie like ET that had a huge impact on my childhood) was filmed, and maybe even letting my imagination go that the movie actually did happen at that location.
This is why we love movies, they transport us, even if just for fleeting moments, back in time to when life was magical. We get that sense of our childhood again! Love the 80's movies more now than I did then! Keep up the great work! 👏👏
E.T. is still very big in our house. My 6 yr old LOVES the movie! He has my 40yr old plush E.T. doll still in good shape and we just bought the new board game which is a lot of fun. Back in the day I saw E.T. in theaters. 1982 was an epic movie year.
You nailed it with, "Did you watch E.T. a lot growing up?" - I'm 47 yrs old and it felt like basically everyone rented the VHS tape every weekend or it played every-other movie on HBO. I was a latchkey key so HBO was my babysitter on summer vacations.
ET phone home. A good family movie. What happened to movies like this. Good family play family entertainment. Yes! It has scary moments. ET is a friendly alien. That befriends a boy. Michael and Jessica.Good work.

You should still do it anyway! I always say that all location videos are great, even if it's the same movie, because everyone does it their own way and I love it! I can't tell you how many different locations videos I've watched of the same movie like Ferris Beuller, Goodfellas, the Departed, and so many more.

I remember the lines to see e.t. wrapping around the theater in Irvine California, and we could never get in until it had been out for about a month. So cool how you line up scenes. You can tell how much time and work go into making the video.
Saw E.T. at a drive-in theater in Northern California in the summer of 1982. I remember that the sound was terrible, and from the angle of the car, we could see Poltergeist playing on another screen. Two bonafide classics were on at once. That's how it was back then. Great movies were coming out constantly. We saw E.T. at a proper indoor theater later that summer. A very vivid childhood memory. Another great video. I love the lining up of specific scenes and current locations. To me, one of the coolest things this video shows is the maturation of the neighborhoods and all the growth of the landscaping and trees. Broke our hearts to leave and come back to the real world so to speak. Keep up the excellent work guys!
Wonderful job on this, point to notice in the scene where Elliott and ET fly over the cops the cops have guns, in the anniversary edition of the movie Spielberg removed them and put walkie talkies in their hands, I see you used the original clip, great job.
Spielberg changed it to the walkie talkies for the 20th Anniversary edition. He then since changed it back or the ‘original’ scene with guns for the 30th Anniversary edition. Great film. Amazing.
Can I just say ya'll seem so calm and mellow. It's quite soothing seeing you two interact in your videos
Even though I'm a horror fan E.T. has a special place in my heart

" Go Home '
Cute kid Michael....
I saw E.T. in the theater back in 1982,i was 4 years old at that time.I will never forget that.
Jesus can't believe almost 40 years now. I was iust a few months old at the time of filming of this movie :(
This is so wonderful to discover all those places ! Thank you for this amazing job you've done and for sharing it. E.T. was a very important movie for a lot of people. Cheers from France !
LOVED ET , THE MOVIE WAS AWESOME , AWE YOU ARE ADORABLE AND YES YOU DO LOOK LIKE HENRY THOMAS ❤😘✌ WOW THIS WAS INCREDIBLE LINING up all the scenes , i have a ET I BOUGHT AFTER THE MOVIE CAME OUT ITS A LIL PLASTIC BENDABLE ONE
Bringing back such great memories of watching this regularity on the old VHS!
Would you try close encounters locations??
I love how detailed these movie location vids are.
Ahh 1982. When things were easy and simple and worry free. Nothing like today 2023
ET, Back To The Future, Star Wars, Poltergeist and Raiders are some of the best 80's movies and don't get me going on the music. Thanks for your time, work and posting your work.......
Such a special film, fills me with that childhood magic. Shared ETwith my sons 6 & 4 & they loved it. Thank you for the video, great stuff.
Another great video. I love the lining up of specific scenes and current locations. To me, one of the coolest things this video shows is the maturation of the neighborhoods and all the growth of the landscaping and trees. As someone who grew up in CA, through the expansion explosion I remember when new neighborhoods were....new.
Amazing job again. You guys rock!
80's movies were the best!
Cheers from Canada.
I love that you showed us some of the filming locations for one of also my fav films growing up as a kid as well......the house is in my neighborhood....i discovered it back in 2013....about 2 miles from my home....haven't been to the other locations yet but plan to.
What an awesome addition!! I was so thankful to come across this, this morning. You really did look like Elliott!!! Wow!! That’s a huge Agave’ there at the beginning, on the right in the ground!!! That was one of C. Thomas Howells first roles.
So Glad You and Baby Goul did this!
My first Ever Drive-Inn Movie!
Such an Epic Time and Movie!!
Love You Guys Always!!
