I just got a BA barrel this past week and was pretty happy to find that the company puts out these videos. Kind of bummed they’re not doing these anymore. But hopefully with covid they’re all happy and healthy and get back to making these soon.
Unless they were morbidly obese old people with aids the only threat to them was the governments reaction to the spicy flu not the flu itself.
Come back BA! Miss the videos! Here is a question that I don’t think you’ve covered yet. Why carbine length gas on the 13.7 and 14.0 Hanson barrels. Just got my 13.7 assembled with a pin/weld to 16! Can’t wait to shoot it.
BA needs to beg Sarah to come back and do these videos again.
They’re well done, entertaining & educational. They’re re-watchable, I’ve watched them all many times over the years.
If they leveraged the algorithm more efficiently on here, like CF does, they’d really take off.
The videos didn’t get as many views as they deserved, it’s the best series of videos like it on YT.
These two compliment each other perfectly. These videos sold 10-12 barrels just from me in the last year. Before these I was a Wilson Combat barrel guy, still am on certain builds, but these videos got me to try BA barrels for the first time.
Get a Teslong and scope them, make sure they’re clean on the inside, I’ve never had one that wasn’t. It does happen though, and if it is, I believe it’s the best barrel for the money out there.
People love to complain, but when you look at the big picture, total number of barrels on the market vs QC missed barrels, BA has a pretty damn good BA (batting average).

I get super happy, and also super sad when I shoot all of these tack driving BA equiped "tools" of badassery!
Happy with .31 MOA with my current handloads on the "Daily driver." The rest are under an MOA still. Incredible stuff.
But I do get Sad when I don't see Sarah and Clint when another week passes by. What a long year without team BA filling my earholes with info and witty banter!
I hope y'all are doin ok! Gotta be, because I'm still buying BA products. But..... Still.

Love the content you make on this channel. Sarah is a large part of why I subscribed, she always improves my mood! My question is about working with nitride treated parts. I’m going to be putting a Geissele nitride gas block on one of your 14.5 nitride barrels, both dimpled and cross pinned. Any tips on tooling or specific techniques for drilling nitride surfaces?
Retro line...... Vietnam M16A1 uppers, FBI HRT profile 11.5”, M4A1 clone with the heavy profile......Things like that.

Love the videos, barrels, and all the advice. I currently have many of your barrels in multiple setups and all have been performing great. I have one of your 20" fluted 6.5 creedmoor barrels in an Aero Precision build that shoots 1/2" groups with factory Hornady 147gr tuned perfectly with a Superlative arms adjustable gas block that I was able to dial in just right. Based upon your 14.1" Hanson 6.5 creedmoor that you brought to shot a couple years ago it got me thinking that an AR10 pistol build using that barrel would be a great hunting rig out to 800 while shooting suppressed (due to the fact that a full AR10 setup even with the fluted barrel can be hefty). I tend to use Superlative arms bleed off gas blocks on all the builds that I can since it makes tuning a breeze to dial things in. Since the 14.1" Hanson barrels come with a pinned low pro(and is not made to fit other gas blocks) how difficult will it be to tune the barrel to various ammo choices given that fact that I may still run the rig suppressed, and AR10 platforms can always be tricky with over-gassing. Is there enough popularity in the shorter 6.5 creedmoor barrels that you are considering offering other profiles in the future or what would your advice be on tuning such a setup. I appreciate the ease of only having to adjust the detent clicks at the range based upon the various factors instead of having to mess with buffer weights or carrier weights. I also tend to run either a Geissele silent capture spring or an Armaspec stealth spring so there can be many moving parts to account for.
On a side note... What would your thoughts be on trying to run a lightweight BCG in such a rig as well. I always prefer function over form and will always opt for reliability over weight savings but every ounce I can shave is less lbs when it comes to walking great distances. Thanks so much!

Why are you using coil pins over the Taper pins when pinning your gas blocks???? Great videos hopefully the videos will start back up soon.
Merry Christmas. This might be a repeat of previous questions, but I want to know if you see anything wrong with this setup and where I might anticipate any issues. Dead Air flash hider, BA 14.5 223 Wylde QPQ Barrel, Superlative Arms Adjustable Gas Block, CMC Enhanced BCG, Geisselle Super 42 spring with H1 buffer inside a PWS enhanced buffer Tube? I plan on using this build for a "Do All" Home Defense, Hobbie Rifle that I might run suppressed 50% of the time once I get the Sandman K out of Jail. I say 50% because my next build will be a 300Black Out Pistol I plan to transfer the BCG and Suppressor to once that's finished later down the road.
Hey love yalls Q&A's you guys are real Americans! But hey do you guys ever plan on making a 14.5 or 16" fluted, mid length heavy barrel? I live in Maryland and we are only aloud to have heavy barrels in rifle configurations and I want it to be fluted to reduce weight and mid length for nice soft shooting and I can't find this combination, Anywhere...
What barrel would you recommend in 18 inch length for an AR15 with high rate/volume of fire? Specifically using M193 ammo at about 550 rounds per minute with binary triggers.

Hi, I just bought an Aero Precision M4E1 Enhanced M-Lok 16” Mid. Length with Ballistic Advantage Hanson Series 223 Wylde Premium Barrel and I'm wondering what to use for cleaning and lube on this Stainless Bead Blast Barrel?
I've used Break Free CLP for years on all my guns, never any issue. That being said, it's a bead blasted SS barrel, not much out on the market that can hurt it or even discolor it.
Can BA mount the front A-2, sight / gas block on your modern series barrels?
This guy at work was asking me. My answer was to call or email you guys.
My other suggestion was to not bother and go with the performance series and pinned gas block. Why????
