“Is that the command of my creator?” “No, Your Majesty. It is the request of a friend.” Man, Liu Kang came all the way to get his big break in the franchise. He’s as humble, friendly, and wise as ever.
I totally agree with you. His cadence and mannerisms were replicated extremely well by the new actor. He did such a wonderful job getting that energy down.
The core between Johnny, Kenshi, Raiden and Kung Lao is absolutely gold. Mileena's characterisation in this version is way better than the last version. I hope netherrealm would minimise the timeline plot and focus more on fleshing out this timeline.
This is the first time in a while since we've had compelling MK characters lead the story, X just didn't have much strong characters to like, and 11 was too bloated in terms of events. I honestly do hope we get more of these characters, they've stepped up their writing game by leagues and it shows.
They did a lot of characters justice with this one and i loved it. I was skeptical at first but after seeing characters like reptile and baraka go from generic goons to actual fleshed out characters it warms my heart. And them bringing characters from the PS2 era even if some are mere cameos is enough for me to love it.
And Ermac. Total surprise to see him in it at all, even moreso to see him get a redemption arc. Totally makes sense to make him become Jerrod. Brilliant. And of course Mileena.
@@UMBR. not the first time they done that with ermac. Way back in MK9 his ending was literally Jerrod's soul taking over control of his body after he defeated Shao Kahn. not a bad idea. Glad they re-used it.
The fact that we got to see a Mileena we never saw, and a story actually revolving around her without just basing her off as a side character is amazing. This game is a love letter to the fans, to all the fans. of all characters and all eras. Thank you NR
Whoever did Shang Tsung in this game did a masterful job. Whether it is inspired by Cary's performance or not, it radiates a decietful smug cunning character perfectly. His voice and performance has made him a perfect sorceror without being too over the top or feeling like its too hard to be a previous. Easily my favorite young Shang Tsung. Also props for making me feel bad for Shang in the beginning since he's basically been screwed to have a meaningless life with no idea as to why
"You have been conspired againts since before you were born" yeah I love how they got us to understand from Shang Tsung's perspective eventho its Shang Tsung
I agree. His performance is great as Shang Tsung. I guess the only thing I hated is Megan Fox's performance as Nitara. She sounded like a robot and over acting
As someone who spent his teenage years enjoying DA, Deception, and Armageddon, and seeing how my favourite character Liu Kang was killed, this game is a love letter, and all the three games are mentioned in this game. What a brilliant, clever, loyal-to-fans, and powerful story. Thank you :)
I love how the story unfolded it referenced every single MK game. Shang tsung and quan chi teaming up to make another deadly alliance. Jerrod being ermac is perfect we never seen king jerrod in any game and the fact he’s actually ermac is well deserved. I love the part where kenshi was trying to stand up for everyone and lost sento. Once he got the sword in his hands and absorbed ermac souls was amazing. This was an amazing watch and experience for any fan
@@litledevel15 I genuinely believe that Onaga is going to have a moment in this timeline. It’s almost too gratuitous that they gave us the dragon army without Onaga. My theory is that Havik is going to find a way to summon an other timeline Onaga to command the current main timeline’s dragon army.
@Ajaylix_Nature_ASMR wait aren't him and kitana gods now 😅 Liu kang like the new Raiden and kitana is his concubine or did I remember the last game incorrectly
I do love all these new backstories and interactions you never think would happen in prior titles, Johnny and Kenshi forming a brotherly bond, Kitanna and Mileena being actual sisters, it is amazing.
@@blackdemonknightI just hate how they forced the Scorpion vs Sub Zero rivalry, I wish they could’ve stuck together as brothers but ofc this is MK there has to be bloodshed
3:13:47 I adore how Mileena is in awe of the tech of Johnny’s drone even comparing it to magic. And reminding us how for what similarities the realms have, there’s also big differences to separate them, like Earthrealm with its tech compared to magic in others.
This is what people overlook when it comes to earthrealm and how they could contend with Outworld. Yes they don’t have magic. But they do have nuclear warheads 💪
So do I. And how it began just because of how determined Kenshi was to get Sento back, but how he and Johnny end up bonding especially when Kenshi saves Johnny from Mileena and her rampage.
I love all of the references to Deadly Alliance, Deception, Armageddon, MK9 (even though one of them was about /that/ scene in MK9), MKX & MK11. The entire thing is a basket filled with fresh new outlooks on characters, bittersweet &/or wholesome moments between characters, great voice acting & lots of laughs. My only two complains are how they handled Nitara & how if you took her, Reiko & Rain out of the formula there would be no REAL narrative loss at all.
Yeah I wish they had done more with Rain. And I also wish they had not killed Sindel... but then Sindel gets resurrected, doesn't she? I just hope that, this time, the resurrection is done in a good way by... I don't know... maybe, in the next game, Rain gets a redemption arc, becomes good somehow, and combines Earthrealm's ginsei with his water magic to resurrect Sindel, since, to quote Kitana from the 90s MK movie: water is "the element which brings life."
Pseudo ressurected. She's living with jerrod in ermacks would collective rn, fighting for control with jerrod over the rule of big E's soul. Also Rain's champaign ending does seem to point to him going down that route, with how he helped Havik but regretted it.@@UMBR.
As a long time Mortal Kombat fan, this story was just fantastic. Loved the new directions they took each character and how they actually got to be fleshed out unlike other games. Everyone felt like they had valid motives for their actions and they all worked very well together. The ending felt a little rush but it was hilarious seeing all the different combination characters and the funny names.
@@HanBowloOG I kind of like how they’re not reintroducing Shinnok and Kronika though. Because it wouldn’t be as refreshing if they were re introduced right after Mk10 and MK11. And imo they’re definitely later game threats. I love how Havik is slated to be the new big bad.
Mortal Kombat stories were always much better than they had any right to be. High stakes, fates permanently altered, gruesome ends to characters' stories. This change of direction is so disappointing and just shit. It's MK: Into thr Kombatverse. No stakes anymore, no story telling needed, just unlimited time lines. Johnny Cage has been reduced to Forspoken level writing (references are not jokes, have we not learned this?) and the whole entry just serves to set up sequels with a Marvel-like ending. So incredibly unoriginal.
@@snoopymccloud1875 MK was never known for high stakes what are you talking about LOL People die come back, go back in time come back die get revived. The characters were incredibly shallow. Evil ninja Blue, Evil Ninja green at least now the characters get storylines that make sense within a narrative. Also MK has always had multiple timelines and variants of characters, now they’re just leaning more into it. You’re just mad that there were no meaningless jobber deaths like there were in the previous games. This was a restart for the franchise they aren’t going to just start killing characters left and right without them getting development. Grow up.
Beginning: clear, concise, and brilliantly focused storytelling Ending: schlocky Midway ridiculousness with hilarious/clever characters I love this whole game Also nice to see Liu Kang’s redemption when he’s able to fend off the Deadly Alliance instead of being ambushed
it is nice to see that segment of liu kang, but i think the point for his death in the OG being so abrupt is because he was the hero for the past 4 or 5 games if im not mistaken. devs prob figured it would be shocking to have him die so abrupt and violent
It's brilliant. They perfectly set up a reboot in the first 2/3 of the game, and then after that they use the final hours to have some fun and embrace the nonsense of comic book-style crossover events.
@@clancy2091 people forget that Deadly Alliance really was a soft reboot to the series. MK believe it or not was on life support at that time with arcades falling out of fashion, and games like MK4 underwhelming audiences Killing off Liu Kang early on was definitely a wake-up call that this series was going to be very different
Words cannot describe the feelings. A love letter to all MK fans! Sindel's true nature. Mileena being a main character. Reptile and Baraka reimagined... Simply perfection! You have the gratitude of an old man that started playing Mortal Kombat with a keyboard a long time ago.
@@aaronsmith3334 Yeah, not my favorite part either... but I think they're trying to make a martyr out of Scorpion this time by making Bi Han more flawed
I rarely play games due to work and life, but shout out to the screenwriters for the story within the cutscenes. They beat 80% of films and animations today. Massive props to you @GamersPlayground for compiling it. 🙏🏾
Was thinking the same thing, that was literally the one thing I was hoping that would get touched on and they fully delivered--even with them finally kissing. Fucking awesome.
Dude this was awesome. Sindel being the queen we always wanted, the reptile chapter, the callback to deadly alliance and the ending. So much good stuff. And it seems like we might get future character customization with that ending fight lol. Ed and the whole mk team did amazing with this game.
Love this story because you can actually feel for so many of the characters, like Reptile, Baraka or Mileena, just to name a few. Also i like how there's finally a happy ending of sorts, and the general good vibes this story has to it. Amazing work!
Been playing fighting games my whole life and this story is one of, if not the best in the whole MK franchise. Each and every character from klassic, to 3D, and the new era all get their new respective roles and purposes, all being interesting or captivating in their own way. There are plenty of references and call-backs long time fans will appreciate, and the comedy is done just right, not being too over the top while at the same time not being boring or stale. It's a great year for fighting game fans and I cant wait to see what the future holds for these franchises.
Every time they drop a new MK game I like to watch the story mode on UA-cam. I generally wait until the Komplete version of the game gets released so I can get the base game and all the DLC at the same time. And every time I watch the new story modes, I always go to your channel. So thank you Gamer's Little Playground.
The amount of sheer emotional strength it must have taken from Liu Kang to live alongside a re-started timeline among different versions of his closest allies and friends must have been monumental... more so that until now they had no idea.
This game and story are definitely a love letter to all of us MK fans, so many references, dialogues, so much you can even tell to which game they belong... you can tell how much passioon they put into this and it shows. And the last chapter, my god, pure joy since the beginning to the very end. By far, the best Mortal Kombat yet, PERIOD 🔥🔥🔥
@AirLancer So? There's no need to be so serious man, it's about having fun and disconnecting yourself of logic while you play. Plus, it makes sense why all those characters appeared, so at least with me, everything is ok
@@AirLancerwhat’s the need to be so serious all the damn time? I like how this story unfolds from a really interesting retelling of the first game to an all out multiversal war that resolves the story of the previous game The slate is wiped clean and new beginnings are at hand I’ve never had this much excitement for Mortal Kombat since the pre release of MKX
The way that they made things happen the same... like Kenshi with the blindfold (which the scene was really cool) all the way to Kuai Liang's scar- were WAY better than expected. Props to the team!
Same Here! I can remember being 4 years old and my Big Brother would take me to the Arcades. And I would always play Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 Or Mortal Kombat 4! Ahh the good ol days 🥲
It''s been an amazing journey seeing it and the fighting game genre be created and then become what it is today. I'm glad to have been able to see it happen.
I loved all his movie references as well as self inserting his movie at every opening. Deb a narcissistic thing to do but Johnny is still has heart. Ngl I cracked up at mime and female Johnny at the end.
Over the years there have been video game franchises that kind of dropped the ball when it comes to quality, but Mortal Kombat has stayed consistently good getting better every year. Thank you Ed Boon and everyone that had a hand in making Mortal Kombat so Legendary!👍♥️
I think Kitana was the main choice 😄 She even shows up on that climbing tower even by not being selected as the final fighter. They tease what is ment to be choosen as main.
I never thought I'd see the day we get to play as Reptile, let alone have him beat heavy hitters like Kitana and Shao. Hopefully going forward my favorite kombatant will get more respect from this franchise
What I love about Johnny's references to old arenas is that his ending has him and Liu Kang producing movies and series about Outworld so when the time comes for the two realms to meet, Johnny's movies can help with smoothing the process.
The last minute or two in the tea house at the end are great. It feels really affecting to hear Liu Kang thank them and Johnny thank him. If it wasn’t already written in the stars they’re doing another one, this would be a great closer for the series.
@@mikeeclipse eh...it wasn't great but Nitara barely features in the story all that much. it was easy to move on if anything, i thought Sub-Zero's voice actor was terrible lol
Oh man, the graphics, game cinematics, fight choreography, cinematography, oners, and voice acting were absolutely incredible. I love how much MK has evolved beyond just being a fighting game, and even the tournament itself. Now it's more focused on story, characters, writing, and expanding the universe and lore. Now THIS is what an MK movie is supposed to be, or at least has the potential to be. A big, expansive story with characters we know and love from fantastical worlds with crazy lore all fighting together to save their realms and forming interesting relationships we actually invest in. If the fighting levels were replaced with cinematics and this was released as a feature-length movie, I'd most definitely see this in theaters. With the right creative team and budget, this is what a live-action MK movie can be. I also love how MK 11 and MK 1 were multiverse stories, but no one ever actually says the word "multiverse," they just say "timeline(s)."😂
There's a difference between a multiverse and multiple timelines. Multiverses are a collection of universes. Universes don't diverge from one another. They all have their own beginning. Timelines are the flow of realities. They can diverge from the main timeline of one universe or diverge from another divergent timeline. The reason they never said multiverse is because it's only one universe. Due to what we know from this game, the ripple of time made it so that from the event fight for the hourglass, multiple outcomes came to be, with each timeline having one of those outcomes.
Goddaaamn this is the first MK where I'm genuinely invested in the story! Beautifully animated, amazing voice acting, and well written script! Also re-imagining every character and making them fit seamlessly into that new world was such a brilliant move! Even putting the test your might minigame into story context! I love it! ♥
when MK 2011 was first released, i remember being mesmerized by the story mode because it was so different from previous games haha but i think the way that game ended pissed off a lot of fans lol, so they're going a more traditional route this time
It was absolutely perfect up until the damn time travel crap and it got the netherrealm bug with convoluted 7000 stories being told at once. They need to slow down and flesh out stories, it’s such a piss off they did this again
@@markskirbywhat was so bad about it? So many people critiqued it but having seen it myself now I think people overreacted. My only issue was dark Raiden being jobber 💀
I'd never thought I'd see Scorpion and Sub Zero as Brothers, much less, his younger brother becoming Scorpion. Or Mileena and Kitana as actual sisters and on the same side against Shao Khan. Baraka revealing he was once human and a good guy. Very interesting
I actually enjoyed this storyline... The characters and their interactions were refreshing to see and quite lively aswell, unlike it's predecessor. Sindel, Milena's and katana's relationship was awesome and the fact we got a Milena chapter is wild, not to mention a reptile one aswell. The only small thing i didn't like was the final battle and the whole different timelines ending. I kinda wished the ending would be focused around the characters we spent the journey with, and not this sudden agglomerate of different ones, but it did lead to quite a cinematic battle so...whatever. Overall i much prefer this story to 11's, and even mortal Kombat X's
Damn, this is like a whole actual MK movie by itself, only WAY better than most junk in the big screen nowadays. Can't believe I sat through this 4-hour vid in a single sitting.
Great way to show off custom characters during Armageddon, also a great choice choosing Geras for the end. It was a long 4 hours, but I don't recall him being used during the story, and a great 4 hours it was! Thanks for another great game movie!
Ya that was my first thought too. I don't think he had any scenes showing off the character in kombat(had to be thematic here 😅) so it makes the most sense to me
The graphics in this game, particularly during cinematic cutscenes, are absolutely spectacular. During wide shots, like when Shang Tsung’s portals are being built, are almost indistinguishable from what it could look like in live action. At times, it almost looked like a Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings movie.
This game, along with the last two, make me with the storylines of all the previous games were remastered using these character models. The bodies in those games are ridiculous.
WHOO!!!!!!!!! 3 hours of an MK game movie?!!! Don't mind if I do! The secret work they put into this definitely had paid off, and the new origins of former villains turned heroes is a change of pace. Also, the brotherhood between Raiden and Kung Lao's the best I've ever seen in existence. Also, hearing Vic Chao's voice as Kenshi is super badass.
This is one of the best story modes that I have ever watched, they took all the potential from the previous games and ran with it while giving up one of the best stories ever. Salute to you NRS
Then, diving into the multiverse where you fight infinite enemies with infinite allies of unimaginable teamups, this is going to be a messy Mortal Kombat 3:51:00
Yeah I thought they were going to just go with Lui Kangs cannon ending, and they did… along with everyone else’s being cannon. Absolutely insane gamble but man they pulled it off
This is but a fraction of what’s to come I think, everything that led to this Armageddon was because of a absurd number of titans. Yet…. The ones that are to be of real intrigue going forward is havik since his Titan version has made it very clear he wants more to fight…. As well as Liu kangs very own since his flooded seido past the millions had he not deceived rain to committing to his blind ambitions
This game is nearly an high budget movie. There are so many npcs that makes places looks alive. MK11 lacks npc figures in movie that's why mk1 looks better in my opinion.
When I first heard of Mortal Kombat 1, I wasn't too keen on how the story was changed. But looking at it now makes me absolutely adore it! Each character's recontexualization is a boon to who they are and the new characters are great as well! We have so many returning characters too who aren't just in the story for the sake of nostalgia! Not only that, but a lot of the classic ideas feel new and refreshing with how they've been changed. Like Tarkat for instance. I find it so refreshing that it's now a virus. It gives tarkatan characters like Baraka much more depth. They remade this timeline with as much love as they could and it is beautiful
Liu Kang did a really good job with his timeline! So many characters who are usually evil were put in circumstances where they could become heroes, Outworld isn't desolate and the MK tournarment is a nonlethal contest were they show their defense-readiness and then party together. Loved to see Mileena, Baraka, Sindel, Reptile and Tanya all doing their best. He even identified that Shao and Rain were bastards but wouldn't cause problems by themselves when put in the right position. The only person he misjudged it seems was Sub-Zero, but since the version he knew was the best guy ever, who wouldn't?
This is such an upgrade from MK11 the storyline, graphics, nostalgia, characters, villains and the settings. Overall 10/10 on everything it's just that perfect I love in the end where you can choose the character you want to fight in the war and each is given their individual role in the war and shows how they will defeat titan Shang Tsung. The characters are perfect they all have been given perfect explainations on their backgrounds and pasts and introduced more characters that weren't given any attention or forgotten in the previous games such as Ermac,Jerrod,Tanya,Goro and Quan Chi. The developers are truly gifted and made this feel like a movie the work that they had to put in is truly remarkable and it shines ever so brightly Truly a 10/10 most movies aren't even better than this.
1:49:05-1:50:00 genuinely has to be one of the coldest moments in this whole game🥶💯 Kenshi got so much justice. To anyone who reads this, what time stamp/stamps are your favorite scenes/moments?
When Jonny cage asharah baraka reptile kenshi and the others were hanging out from when they escaped the castle to when they make it back to earth realm. Second favourite moment has to be liu and kitana reunited.
THIS and the Armageddon battle was the two best parts in this game! Watching this was better than any movie that's out right now! I honestly don't even have to actually play it now, I just wanted to see where the story would go and it was perfect! Also, what's up with the weird glitch in the subtitles at 2:47:47 lol?? 10/10
This whole story was amazing, they did syzoth and baraka justice in this game, along with mileena, sindel and ermac. Everything about this story was a 1,000,000/10. Im excited for what they’ll do with the intro’s for the dlc characters, and hopefully a dlc storyline as well
The final battle feels like Avengers Infinity War or at least an official MK M.U.G.E.N game. It's amazing to see countless versions of known fighters from different timelines
1:00:10 ain’t no way raiden really just said the same line as liu kang in mk9 when liu and kitana also first fought, im loving the call backs in this game
Also the exchange between Raiden and Liu Kang about Johnny Cage except the roles are reversed, this time Liu Kang says “He’s a hero but he doesn’t know it yet”
Holy fuck, these cutscenes are STELLAR. This is the first time I don’t feel like the eyes have that ‘dead stare’ and it’s impressively good. I’d love to see more of this technology on other genre of video games. So damn clean!
Sindel's death broke my heart. We finally got her original good guy self and on top of that they brought back Jerrod with Ermac's creation. She's always been one of my favourite characters.
I love the references to the past timeline. For example when Lui Kang said “focus on you’re actions not the outcome” as a direct reference for Raider constantly focused on the outcomes of everything
I will simply never be able to describe my delight at what I saw. The whole story, characters, costumes, everything is as I have long dreamed of. The family of Sindel, Jerrod, Mileena and Kitana is simply fascinating. Johnny Cage, Kenshi, Raiden, Syzoth, Kung Lao, their team makes my heart so happy and they are all so hot and handsome. I loved Ashra and Li Mei. And I send special love to Madame Bo and unfortunate, devoted and good Baraka. Thank you very much for this wonderful part of Mortal Kombat.
Sadly I hear Bi Han didn't get the justice he deserved and was hyped up to have. I'm gonna watch now but if Bi Han got the short end of the stick again and was killed off or something, I will definitely not buy this game. Especially already given how they switch up Scorpion vs Sub Zero dynamic significantly and Scorpion vs Sub Zero is the most popular and iconic aspect of Mortal Kombat to most fans. I really wanna see how they explain where Hanzo is and I *REALLY hope he does not become Noob Saibot in this timeline* because that will feel like I really cheap way to switch them up and try to make things feel different a bit too much, when they already have given many other kharacters a nice background change like Reptile, Baraka & Ashrah that making the Sub Zero/Scorpion/Noob Saitbot dynamic bad would be a huge disappointment.
Good god the story was magnificent, and it all ends with a fitting cliffhanger given what all’s been established. Twists, turns and old plot points polished with some new flare. Can’t wait till the next game tbh.
Better than every live action movie ever lol but not better than an animated one or what? It's just hilarious cause the first half the story just starts to rush things quick, and this is the story that's better than every movie?

The entire thing is a basket filled with fresh new outlooks on characters, bittersweet &/or wholesome moments between characters, great voice acting & lots of laughs.
My only two complains are how they handled Nitara & how if you took her, Reiko & Rain out of the formula there would be no REAL narrative loss at all.

It was great was hoping to see shinnok feel like they dropped the ball on that one and possibly a Meat cameo!
You said it bro
indeed more realistic then the movie film itself bro 🤌
@@Nothing-ek2muAgreed
There's a difference between a multiverse and multiple timelines. Multiverses are a collection of universes. Universes don't diverge from one another. They all have their own beginning. Timelines are the flow of realities. They can diverge from the main timeline of one universe or diverge from another divergent timeline. The reason they never said multiverse is because it's only one universe. Due to what we know from this game, the ripple of time made it so that from the event fight for the hourglass, multiple outcomes came to be, with each timeline having one of those outcomes.
The voice acting is great until you get to Nitara. She sounds goofy.
Goddaaamn this is the first MK where I'm genuinely invested in the story! Beautifully animated, amazing voice acting, and well written script!
Ashra literally served no purpose in the story. She was there for a scene and that’s it…
Liu Kang did a really good job with his timeline!
You are doing a great service for people who can't buy the game, but can witness and enjoy the story through these videos. Thank you so very much!🙏

This whole story was amazing, they did syzoth and baraka justice in this game, along with mileena, sindel and ermac. Everything about this story was a 1,000,000/10. Im excited for what they’ll do with the intro’s for the dlc characters, and hopefully a dlc storyline as well
Hopefully it won’t be like Aftermath
Hard disagree. Horribly unfocused narrative consisting of one isolated wank session stapled onto the next.
Love what they did with Baraka. Finally not just a Jobber. Also the sickest character model so far.

I see Raiden has taken over the role left by previous Liu Kangs...which is to ask stupid questions to provide exposition lmao
At least he does not vanish to consult with Elder Gods this time :)
@@Endru85x lmfao great point. Liu Kang definitely seems like he's handling that a lot better
The final battle feels like Avengers Infinity War or at least an official MK M.U.G.E.N game. It's amazing to see countless versions of known fighters from different timelines
the names though lol.....Stung Lao is where i lost my shit 😂

Considering Raiden's role in this timeline is basically Liu Kang's. I wouldn't be surprised if this Kitana ended up hooking up with this Raiden lol
@@kwizzehit would be funny seeing Liu Kang and Titan Kitana’s reaction to this.
Also the exchange between Raiden and Liu Kang about Johnny Cage except the roles are reversed, this time Liu Kang says “He’s a hero but he doesn’t know it yet”

Not another Deadly Alliance
Wow this came out fast. So hyped for the game tho. From what I've seen of it so far the action & comedy of the story is just top tier.
Fast?! I was in my second semester as a freshman in college when MK11 came out, that was 2019
@@OmegaPictures318I think they mean the cutscene video 😏
@@OmegaPictures318 Damn I was in 7th Grade when MK11 came out now I'm a junior in High School 💀💀💀
From what I can tell, the person who runs the channel gets full advance copies to put these together for release day
@@kristopherwatts9466 Yeah. Cool stuff imo.
Oh she's still alive. Albeit part of Ermac now
Maybe its possible to bring her back thru ermac
Is it possible to resurrect her without her body since Jerrod has her soul
Dam put spoilers first before you said that
@@angelloramirez29796:26
I love the references to the past timeline. For example when Lui Kang said “focus on you’re actions not the outcome” as a direct reference for Raider constantly focused on the outcomes of everything
This is the literal example of why I push so hard for wanting fully-high detailed animated movies like this for games instead of real life actors
Finally, an uncensored version. all the other videos crop any and all blood or gore
Johnny's chapter is an omage to both Indiana Jones and Uncharted. I love this game...

And don’t forget about geras
@@artofmartialcinemaamc5334 Well, I don’t want to upset you, but your Bi Han turned out to be a traitor and a vile bastard in this timeline.

What a perfect timing to watch. We just finished playing mortal kombat with my father.
After watching this, I have to say that what I just saw was PEAK Mortal Kombat, they certainly did not disappoint
Good god the story was magnificent, and it all ends with a fitting cliffhanger given what all’s been established. Twists, turns and old plot points polished with some new flare. Can’t wait till the next game tbh.
This should have been in theaters, I feel like I should have paid for a story this good, far better than any live action movie.
Better than every live action movie ever lol but not better than an animated one or what? It's just hilarious cause the first half the story just starts to rush things quick, and this is the story that's better than every movie?
