In case you guys didn't know about how ambitious the new flight simulator project is, the game AFAIK is online only, because the terrain/weather model uses 2 Petabytes of geographical data.

Every year or two around E3/Game Awards I'll binge a few of these for some reason.
Same. I like watching them back, seeing what was the hot topic at the time and what games actually ended up being released and were actually any good, or ones that didn't make the final cut.

Regarding the project Scarlett announcement video - the up to 8k and up to 120 fps thing just means that Scarlett will support HDMI 2.1, it just sounds better to market it this way.
It's like people getting hype about 5G thinking their phones will have gigabit connections. I suggest these people go look at the standard for 4G and compare it to what they actually see lol
FPS and resolution are also things a "regular" gamer might understand, whereas "It'll support HDMI 2.1!" will mean nothing to anyone who isn't technically inclined.
But yeah, I'll be shocked if next gen finishes with more than about 10 games that run at 8K.

They were talking about lore about the story of V and/or Johnny Silverhand. They are aware of the existence of Cyberpunk 2020.

As someone who started with Halo: combat evolved, i've always felt like the newer Halos just sorta picked up after unreal tournament stopped being developed, as an arena shooter.

People should consider using the term "cloud gaming" instead of "game streaming" (or anything mentioning streaming), because a lot of people are getting confused, thinking you're talking about Twitch streaming when you're in fact talking about cloud gaming.

Halo was a decent ending I think. It totally makes sense they would end on "the future of Xbox" rather than s 3rd party title that won't even be Xbox exclusive

You could spend a week playing game pass games? With more than 200 games, if you sleep 8 hours a day, you'd have to spend 16 hours a day for 7 days, switching to a new game every 25 or so minutes. Seriously. That's CRAZY. Game Pass is incredible

XBOX / Microsoft won E3 for me this year...EA was absolute dogshit, Bethesda was absolute dogshit, Ubisoft was ok, but XBOX / Micro was fckin amazing so many unexpected things and a good mix of exclusive games, some console stuff, some hardware, new games etc.
What was good about the Xbox One in 2019, or 2020? They all but just told everyone, ignore it and wait until Christmas next year for the new system.
Pretty disappointing conference. They had the chance to absoutely knock it out of the park with no Sony there and they didn't really do that. Everything was CGI trailers that kinda fell flat. Even the Cyberpunk trailer wasn't amazing until Keanu showed up. Leaks sucked the hype out of announcements like the From Software game and the Wired PS5 article really sucked the air out of Scarletts reveal.
Cohh constantly derailing comvos by intersecting some latest BS about the cyberpunk pre order, bloody annoying, or him just not paying attention and repeat exactly what Jericho said at Ubisoft today, the moments he hasn't been on the panel have been a blessing for me tbh
