The expiry date is mentioned on strips container and also there is an instruction that it should be used within 3 months after opening the strips bottle lid. So can't we use strip after 3 months of opening container even if expiry date is not reached ?
Hi Thanidhar, Yes, expiry date is only valid until the container is sealed. Once the lid is opened the strips start getting exposed to air and moisture and may loose effectiveness. There is a possibility that device may not show correct results too. When strips completely get spoiled then it is detected by meter thus giving Error 1 message on screen.
Sir it's showing Er1 what to do we try many times but same is coming

We r not taking any sample but after inserting new strip also,it is showing Er 4 .. can you solve this???
Hi Pragatipriyadarshini, The E4 error appears when the blood sample did not fill enough to the strip.
Sometimes this error could be because when the patient blood is very watery or thin.
Sir it's showing Er2 but we don't apply blood samples on the blood strip, why?

Yes, it is possible that all strips get spoiled at the same time. Please note expiry time of strips is only 3 months from opening the container.

My machine is not working after inserting new batter also.....machine is 2 years old and no one is reparing it i tried 4 to 5 shops. Any advice from ur end

Hi Mahadev, Please check the expiry date on strips. Once the container is opened all strips needs to be used within 3 months.
If the strips are okay then try changing battery once. Hope this helps.

Hi Jasmin, Sometimes the device shows random error due to combination of faults. Can you please follow all best practices for solving from E1 to E4. In the past few viewers were able to solve similar issues following this.

Hi Saleem, Can you please once try using new strips. Pls note the strips needs to be consumed within 3 months once container is opened as per instructions. Also pls note the device has life time warranty so if you feel the device is damaged then can get it rectified by contacting customer support.

Sir My Machine shows error 3 what should I do
Hi Rohit, The environment temperature is too hot or too cold for the system to work properly. The operating temperature should be between 50-104 F (10-40 deg. C). Please use system after 20 min once environment temperature is maintained.
Hi actually when my husband did the test first it showed 250 then again after switching it off it's showing 150....but with me it's the same even after we switch off or on...

Hi, This may be because the strip is contaminated or exceeded it's expiry date of 3 months after opening the container. Hope this helps.

Hi Prince, Can you please check if code key on your strip container is same as display on glucometer when it's turned On. Both strip and device should have same code key.

Hi Prince, Hope you checked the expiry date on test strip. Even expiry is 2 years from date of manufacturing but once you open then you used them within 3 month.
My glucometer is showing very low sugar like 27 or 30

Hi Subramaniann, E5 error is not a valid code in this device. Its a possibility the battery is down to produce correct error code. Can you pls try changing battery once.

Hi, This error is when the device is too hot or cold and it doesn't work properly. Please note the operating temperature should be between 10 to 40 deg. When this error occurs place the device in a cooler place, let the saturate temperature and use after 20 minutes.
If it shows Er6 then???
Hi, This device shows error codes from Er1-Er4 and HI or Lo. If you are reading Lo as Er6 then replace test strip. If the same issue repeats then its recommended to replace battery. Hope this helps.

The other reason could be the test strip is expired. The strips to be used within 3 months of opening the container.

Test strip that has already been used or is expired. Please try using a new strip and test.
Or the meter was exposed to a strong electromagnetic field. Move device somewhere else and try using.

Hi Deepankar, looks like the battery is down. Can you please try changing battery once. The meter has lifetime warranty. If changing battery doesn’t work then good to contact customer support and have meter replaced. Hope this helps.
Lo error showing?
Hi, When the test result is lower than 20 mg/dL (1.1 mmol/L), the screen will show the 'Lo' mark. It could be reason that the test strip is faulty. Replace the test strip and perform test again. Hope this helps.
As per device manual/instructions if 'Lo' mark appears again then it's indicated that the value of your blood glucose is too low.
