Bought the parts kit on Amazon for $20. It included the 2 brackets and all new clips (which I didn't need) and a magnetic sign for clean and dirty dishes. Your video was very helpful in making sure I was doing it right. The only thing I did different was instead of the 2 screwdrivers to squeeze the clip together I pinched them together with needle nose pliers. Thanks for a great video. Took me about 15 minutes start to finish.

Thank you. The screwdriver move worked. I was very close to just breaking that damn tab off, but I followed your directions and it popped right out. My dishwasher is fixed and cleaning right now. 💃😊

Yeahhhhhh!!! My dishwasher is fixed!! Thank you so much HandyMom808!!!! Your video was AWESOME! My 12 year old son and I were able to fix it by ourselves in about 15 mins (we had to rewind on a few parts!) I think you should send a copy to Kitchenaid so they can add it to their website!! THIS IS THE SECOND TIME MINE BROKE! (Last time the repair person was kind enough to fix it when he was here fixing another part under warranty-- the adjuster is not covered under warranty) --SUPER, SUPER video and a big thank you to your son for his FANTASTIC job filming!! THANKS AGAIN!!

Thanks for this video, HandyMom808! I have had to have these replaced multiple times while my dishwasher was still under warranty, and now that it's not, I sure didn't want to pay someone to fix it! Had an extra adjuster lying around and "Viola!" with your instructions, I was able to see how easy it was to take off the old, broken one and fix it. Well done!

Hi Handymom808, Thanks for the straightforward tutorial. I just replaced the adjusters on my Kitchenaid with your help and would like to offer an easier way to take off the third tab without using 2 screwdrivers. I used a pair of fine needlenose pliers to gently push the prongs together on the backside and it popped out in a flash. Simple and safe. Thanks again.

Finally! A video that shows the correct way to replace the top rack adjuster. I viewed several that were either wrong, or left out important details or just weren't very clear about what they were doing. (One guy actually reattached the wheel to the broken adjuster, using a tie wrap. He could no longer adjust the height of the rack, but it permanently affixed it to the track. 😝)
I watched this one time, and paused it while I copied you. It couldn't have been easier.

You are the best. II fixed my dishwasher without a $200 service call to Sears, a lecture from the technician about lifetime warranties, an argument with my husband! Thank you! And all for the grand price of $22!!! Highly recommend Speedy Appliance parts....

Thanks so much for this video! I needed to replace both sides and was struggling on the first side before finding this video. This helped so much to get it back together, and the second side went very quickly. I actually found a replacement part from Exact Appliance Parts that looks exactly like the original, but has improved wheel mounting. No more prongs to break on the wheels. I hope this will last me a long time, but from reading the comments here, I now know that the company will replace it if it breaks again. Go moms!

Mine broke in the same place as yours.I somehow pulled it all apart by hand without breaking any parts. Both sides were broken - I discovered the left side after pulling the rack out when the wheel was still in the track Then looked online for match. Was able to find it locally from Marcone Supply 5 min from my home. They said these break all the time and are hard to keep in stock since this part is used by 6 different manufacturers and across most of their diswashers. Mine lasted a year and a half. Since I had no confidence they would hold up, I purchased a lifetime warranty for both which cost an extra $5 each on top of the $36 each cost. of course there are no instructions with the parts or on the manufacturers websites.Your video kept me from breaking any other parts since I had to repair both sides. Thanks so much!

Thank you so much! I have 2 KitchenAid dishwashers and BOTH racks went bad right after the warranties ran out. Murphy's Law, right, LOL. I found them online for only $17.98 a pair. I bought the improved ones that have SCREWS securing the wheels rather than those plastic prongs that rot and break right away. I followed your instructions and voila! So easy to follow. I had absolutely no issues other than you need to make sure both of the long prongs that come out of the adjuster handle are in the center when you clip down into the adjuster. Otherwise, you will not be able to keep the rack locked in the raised position. It will just fall back down.

Thank you for this nicely done video. I was able to install the new adjuster in about 15 minutes. You forgot to tell us to save ALL 3 CLIPS that you removed initially. The job would have taken 5 minutes less if I didn’t have to retrieve the 2 side clips from my garbage can. The parts company neglected to include them in the package. All’s well that ends well.

Thanks for such an excellent video. It was very detailed and really helped walk me through the repair. The only problem I encountered was breaking one of the long retaining clips because it was so brittle...just like the pegs that hold the wheel in place. Oh well, there went another $15 for a new clip, but the top rack slides in-and-out as designed!

Thank you for the fantastic instructions. I ordered my parts on Amazon, got them 2 days later and replaced the bad rack pieces in just minutes. Especially helpful tips: 1.) Use the flathead screwdriver to release the middle clip and 2.) Replace one side at a time so you have a template to work from while repositioning the clips. Now I'm only sorry I didn't read the reviews first, perhaps I could have received the replacement parts for free. (Kenmore Elite dishwasher part #W10350376)

So, the OTHER adjuster of my dishwasher just broke. I ordered a set of 2 adjusters online from a different company than the first time--because it was cheaper.
