This is the second replacement I had to do, because of the cheap parts manufacturers put on the dishwashers.
I am a 75 year old widow and because of your video I did a much better job than the first time.. I had to keep picking up my parts from the bottom of the washer as they fell off. Thank you so much. I was able to put the parts that fell off back on, then I tackled the other bracket and they both look seaworthy now! Great video!
@@nancykocbeker9037 your comment made my day! I'm so glad it helped you!
Thanks for making just a great video!! My dishwasher was only down for 24hrs. Amazon next day delivery awesome. Once again thanks for making this video much appreciated
@@seanmarks6389 Glad it helped, and thanks for watching!
I am going to surprise my husband because I fixed the dishwasher thanks to you! One less thing he has to do this weekend.
@@allopey3801 tell him that he owes me a beer! 😅
Good for You! I do all the handy many stuff around the house as the little woman does pretty much everything else. It's the least I can do.
This was great! Got the spare parts online and followed your video! Top rack is like new! Good camera angles, I was able to see exactly what to do.
This is the fourth AND BEST video that I have seen on making this repair. Its so good there is no need to look for #5.
Thank you sir! Remember, the best way to thank me is to hit that "SUBSCRIBE" button!
Thanks for making such a clear video. Switched out my broken part in minutes!
Glad it did the trick for you!
I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to reinstall the end rail stops. I had removed them to replace the rack height adjuster that had broken. Your video showed me how to reinstall those rail stops. Crazy I know.
@@randyvfromtheperch I definitely know what you mean... Those pieces at the end of the rail took me quite a while to figure out
thanks . your video makes this look pretty easy to do. will post again when fixed.
It's very easy if you know how to do it!
Thank you so much! Your detailed simple instructions made this so much easier than I thought it was going to be. I know that I would not have been able to do it without this video so thank you so much.
Glad it worked for you!
Thank you. Easy to follow & I am sure you saved us some $$ ! Bravo!

Thanks for this video. Not rocket science, but good luck figuring it out without these instructions.
Thank you! I usually get frustrated trying to fix most things ( I eventually get it done 😂). This video was so easy to follow and I was able to complete the job in approximately 15 minutes. This was awesome!
Your comment made my day... Thanks for watching!
Thank you! I have successfully replaced the wheel assembly on my dishwasher. I would mention explicitly for anyone reading the comments that fiddling with the raise/lower button really is the way to get those paddles out of the way as you slide the wheel assembly on, I was trying to use pliers to get them out of the way before I realized how stupid I was being!
Edit: Also you can only really put the clips back on when the wheel assembly is slid out from the raise/lower mechanism, don't try to put the clips on when it is all the way in.
Thanks for watching!
Short and simple! Found the exact dishwasher model on this video. Thank you!

Hi John, I install on the wrong side and am having trouble taking the square part (with the x) off. Can you do a tutorial on how to remove the new parts? Thank you
Sorry I moved and no longer own the dishwasher... so I can't do another video. Good luck!
What is the part number for the upper rack wheel assembly I want to buy it from wirlpool website
@@TexasNationalist1836 you shouldn't buy the OEM part... Honestly, the after market ones are much, much better. The wheel axles are made of metal in the after market ones vs the plastic axles in the Whirlpool part (which is why most break).
See the location links in the video description to buy!
(I don't know the OEM part number BTW)
@@JohnFixes the Amazon link you provided the part is all plastic on whirlpool’s website they sell metal parts
@@TexasNationalist1836 No, the Amazon after-market parts use metal screws for wheel axles whereas the OEM axles in my Whirlpool were 100% plastic (yours may be different). I believe the typical failure of the OEM design is the plastic axle cracking. I'd expect that an Amazon after-market upper rack wheel assembly will outlast the rest of the appliance.
Thanks!!!
