Yes, but my point with a heavy driver and a huge magnet structure has a lot of weight centralized initially.so the pull force will be enhanced in that location before the whole driver is installed.also the driver with that much weight should be supported while all the fasteners are attached. Then and only then should they be torqued in a diagonally opposed fashion

Low volume to 100 watts just sounds beautiful, superb imaging outstanding voice of all instruments, saxophones are dreamy. sware I can hear the horse hair against the strings when I play orchestra, play Metallica. It’s like being surrounded right on stage with them. Very sweet for 50 yr old speakers
These are $15k but that’s the beauty of audio equipment, if you’re happy with your sound then stick with it. After a certain point it’s all subjective anyways.
price in Taiwan where the speaker is made, this unit is about 6,000 usd sold directly by Usher. i guess shipping / import tax / foreign dealer margin will affect the final price in different region. but same thing applies to all things when comparing between domestic or import goods.
This speakers ain't worth more than 500 a piece. Shit quality from start to finish. I'm stunned they actually make vids to expose their awful speakers.
@@kolgrillarn I'm sorry, what material melts? It's a PCB, it's designed for that very purpose. And yes, while I agree it won't suffer the same movement as say in a car, it is inside a speaker cabinet that will involve a degree of vibration and resonant frequencies, so it's not without complete movement. All I'm saying is that for 1k + speakers, they could do a better job with it.
I enjoyed this video. The only thing I wonder about is one thing. When you hammer down the bottom and top cabinet pieces into the cast frame? You didn’t press the veneer against the perfectly cut plates. There appears to be gaps that the epoxy or glue filled. I guess because you are looking for perfect linear appearance from top to the bottom. The veneer is cast.
Sorry but there is no way on earth that these are worth $14,000 USD. Sure other companies might also be ripping people off charging 400k, but if this is all it takes, and its not even a solid piece of wood (its compressed plywood sheets) or extremely complex electronics (like a PC), its wildly overpriced, must cost under $500 to manufacture this in parts.
This is far from high-end, more like a ordinary speaker with expensive look. Nothing wrong with that, most consumers buy with their eyes, to impress people

I'll be there tomorrow at 2pm
I love this
You love everything.
What an amazing experience watching these quality built speakers with such care and a love for craftsmanship!
This is high-end indeed.
I wonder if this is Taiwan 🇹🇼
Thanks and good luck for continued success.
Yes it is Taiwan
Yes it is Taiwan
@@tan3072 Thanks.
Thank you🥰
Mesmerizing!! I know one thing: I cannot afford these. 😅
I love this! The way they do epoxy at 11:02 is genius!
Should not max torque the screws in until they are all screwed in..also she max torque the screws on one area only..this puts alot of stress on that one area..good way to stripp screws..u alternate diagonally the application..
Watch some B&W videos, to see what true high-end loudspeaker manufacturing looks like.
First of all your statement is not relevant to My response..I am a mechanical engineer and a hi end audiophile for over 40 years...and be careful about referencing b&w speakers because only the 800 series is manufactured in England and everything else in mass produced in China..and I am not diminishing some of the Qualiry components that come out of China..But emphasing the "mass produced" statement
They didn't show the whole sequence, so hard to tell if she only torqued one or all.
Also, the driver used may be set to only reach a set torque.
@@MuscleBN true, but honestly there is so much wrong in this video that they don't seem to care much...
meskipun gak sanggup beli, tapi gw bahagia bisa melihat prosesnya
saya suka prosesnya.dari indonesia.
Very well crafted. I wish if the same can be shipped to India. Now, with Bluetooth speakers there are less wires seen in the homes. Great work.
I've never ( cough) put a screw through a foam surround... Those cabinets are beautiful!
Salvador, Ba, Brasil.
I love the zero guard cnc. It's as if tools never suddenly explode or machines don't randomly crash, cause tools to explode.
OSHA would love this place.
no gloves, no masks, no vacs on sanders. I've seen people forging liquid metal in India in bare feet too so I guess it's all relative 🤔 😳
Beautiful construction. I see why these speakers cost as much as they do! 🥰👍
Soldering skill ? What soldering skills?
soldering iron is too big
I love the Usher sound. I wish I could hear the latest ones in Southern US. Thanks for showing this process, very nice work!
I enjoyed watching this video .Some good production techniques. I used to work for Duntech Audio back in the 80s and wathing this brought back a lot of good memories.

The cabinet forming process is amazing , is that heated connections in the mold?
I’ll stay with my 1974 Altec Lansing 150 # a pc speakers 15” woofers, horn mid range, horn high freq. all Alinco magnet. Range 10hz to 20 kHz 110 db 1 watt at 3 meters.
We care
You are absolutely not getting close to 10hz with vintage altecs lol. maybe down to 40-50hz. Not talking down on altec, just want to correct that
@@remiremillard8419and certainly not at 110dB one watt at 3m lol
Lemon Films killing it 🔥🔥🔥
Saudações do Brazil.
Proses pembuatan sangat rapi dan bagus......❤❤❤❤🤝🤝🤝
Great video. How much will they cost coming out off these factory? The price in the hifi shop is 14.300 dollar in the U.S.A.
price in Taiwan where the speaker is made, this unit is about 6,000 usd sold directly by Usher.
i guess shipping / import tax / foreign dealer margin will affect the final price in different region. but same thing applies to all things when comparing between domestic or import goods.
This speakers ain't worth more than 500 a piece. Shit quality from start to finish. I'm stunned they actually make vids to expose their awful speakers.
@@allenlee2670 I think 600 dollar each.
@@DMalek I don't think so.
very nice speaker 👍👍
They look nice speakers, but the soldering on that crossover doesn't look like it'll last very long.
i can't solder. But I can solder better than that.
I partly agree that it might be weak but it is not easy to hot solder on a material that melts! Does not move much as in a car so can hold?!?
Vraiment Excellent Merci
wow
14,300usd!
Brand is from Taiwan ....Usher!!
Hi-end speakers are made with MDF, not plywood.
Nonsense. Every single pro-audio speaker in the world is made from Baltic birch plywood. Every single one at every concert you have ever been to.
He said hi end meaning home hifi . Pro audio different ball game i know what your sayin i worked in both fields@@wally7856

Nice work, nice filming. A lot of talented people. Thank You from Lyon France.
Marvelous excellent craftsmanship 👍
This is far from high-end, more like a ordinary speaker with expensive look. Nothing wrong with that, most consumers buy with their eyes, to impress people
