Lyrics:
Lord of Chaos
Fatal attraction to bright lights and loud explosions
Insects will rule when we've had our go
Our rise and fall, our stewardship, our temper tantrums
Our art, our excellence, our hubris, poverty and greed
Flash points everywhere and everybody's scared
Complex systems failure
And the Lord of Chaos is in
All things must pass, oceans bereft of life
A fungal bloom allows no light, the depths no longer rise
As we dine in streets of filth and close our eyes
While the world is burning
And all the seas rise
Flash points everywhere and everybody's scared
Complex systems failure
And the Lord of Chaos is in

RIP Geordie Walker (December 18, 1958 - November 26, 2023), aged 64
You will be remembered as a legend.
A legend for sure. May he rest in peace.
The best
This is the perfect blend of punk rock, metal, and new wave.
RIP Geordie
For me personally Killing Joke and 70s Sabbath are the two most important bands in the history of heavy/aggressive music. This new material just proves how great and criminally underrated this band has always been.
This is the prophecy song released just before the war Russia with Ukraine
Putin muerto.Glorria Rusia.
Couldn't have put it better dude, I'm a younger guy, I'm 22, I only got into metal back in 2019, and now I'm seeing Killing Joke next month, I'm super excited!
I agree so much with you.
Don't forget Hawkwind too - this channels them in spades.
The most underrated band in history.
Absolutely one of the most important bands ever in human history.
Killing Joke are far from underrated.
The only band who screams about reality in the raw. They vomit up this sick world.
@@Emulous79 that is exactly how Big Paul Ferguson described KJ's sound: The Sound Of The Earth Vomiting..
You kidding? I was in concert. Every people was like after drugs or they was in specific trance mood. I just stay like i never stay on concert. Is not music for good people now maybe in past was but they changed personalities everything.
@@PeaceandUnderstanding You missed the point of Killing Joke.
R.I.P. Geordie
So Apocalyptically poetic. Killing Joke does not disappoint with emotional anger/sadness/hope lyrical madness and wall of sound...for decades.
It is fcking beautiful isn't it
I was listening to The Calling and some tracks off Outside The Gate. It's the great precursor of Jaz and Geordie steering toward to Extremities.
Killing Joke has raw power and grace with contradiction, polarity, tension... all thrown together in a manner that is precise but also chaotic. It's something to create 15 albums and have the ideas behind the music come along, develop and yes I think live beyond the creators.
Real music for real listeners.
👍... ✊✊✊... Saludos de Ciudad de México!!
@@marioreyes1603 Godbless Mexico.
Local music for local ears 😂🤘
@@solac7749 exactly. My best friend got me into them. I get it all now. Look at the last 2 years. Scandaless
@@marioreyes1603 hola holmes 🤘
Geordie is an absolute master of texture.
I Love Killing Joke! One of the most important Rock Band of last 40 years...
AMAZING KILLING JOKE!
Agreed bloody marvellous 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
ABSOOOFUCKINGLUTELY🤯🤘🙌
The book, " a prophesy fullfilled, " by killing joke is a great read...defiantly one of the most influential bands with important messages for all
@@paulcroxton6047 Thanks for this info
heavy but with the eerie vibe of your 80s material. awesome.
It's really simple harmonically, but it sure as hell works!
I am here only for historical reasons: to tell my grandchildren that on the day of the premiere I wrote: Excellent!
Party on Dudes
pre-order: COMPLETED!
Ai will delete this like before. Just saying idk
Excellent!
👍🏽
Now THAT is an amazing track.
Damn.
New model army. Killing joke. Coil.
I want whoever that made this film clip to train me up, can't imagine how many hours was spent on Premier pro putting that together
Since 45 years I am listening to this band ..and still enjoy it like in the beginning...in the 80ties..the whole world is fck up now but these guys are still around...
Good, god damn o feel old.... 57 and I still listen to my roots
Hard to believe these guys are still going strong after 43 years (as of this comment). One of my all time greatest bands!
One of the most underrated bands in history!
Good to know KILLING JOKE is still around
When I was a boy I started listening to Killing Joke, I think it was in 1982. This band stood by my side almost my entire life. Great stuff.
Same here
I'm thankful, that they are still knocking them out. Long live Killing Joke.
Geordie has a unique sound from his guitar, he always makes there songs interesting
Geordie isn't just a guitarist, he's an entire orchestra :P
@@unixfreak definitely, i agree with u
Their not there.
That guitar and that amp! Such a killer rig!
"Hes like 2 guitarists in one, and sometimes 3!"
Jaz Coleman still pulling off that brilliantly weird rasp in his voice well into his 60s. Fuckin' splendid track chaps!
Astonishing how heavy they get sometimes. This is awesome.
Trouble is, when you wake up spiritually you realise that you definitely don't want your eternal destination to be the Lake Of Fire
Been in love with Killing Joke for something like 43 years, and they are damn near the greatest of all. For me, they never disappoint.
Me too, I am fan of KJ since around 1980 or so.
The Raven would be proud lads keep chugging it out.
Definitely song for the shit were currently witnessing!!
"Love as we're falling down..." ~ Adorations, Killing Joke
In the grand scheme of things, this is one of the few bands (along with The Clash) that really matters!
This must be the best "Joke" i´ve heard in a long long time.
It was incredible to see Jaz finally getting the recognition he deserved from Gloucester University back in November. Breaking through the snobbery which is endemic to the UK classical music scene is, in itself, a huge & audacious achievement. Congratulations Dr. Coleman - a testament to your genius. Look forward to seeing you again in Bristol. Namaste. ;)
yeah, I was impressed with that and moreso how Jaz used used the money I gave him buying their albums and attending their concerts. not into classical at all here but to each his/her own
His classical stuff is a bit too light for me, as I prefer the likes of Stravinsky or Rachmaninoff, but it's been worth every penny spent to keep Killing Jokes Genius alive this long. ;)
Ignore the classist and racist morons. Mr. Coleman is a unique treasure.
The mighty Joke return. Good strong track, hard hitting drums, wee nod to the more melodic mid 80s material which I loved. Top band.
sry, but meh. (I know y'all going to hate me...). Look, the drums are uninteresting- listen to "Complications" or perhaps the entire album "What's THIS for ?"... this is like a wind up toy, very predictable and frankly, boring.
Is this really a "new" KJ album ?
(throughout 80s-90s each album had an innovative edge, "Pandemonium" and "Democracy" lyrically gifted advances for the band, but it's been disappointing since. moving on....)
@@laszlozoltan5021 first 2 albums were crackin... Pandemonium later wasn't bad, l still annoy the neighbours.. Conflict, Discharge, Subhumans etc etc
I dunno why no one seems like Brighter than 1000 suns?
There's no other band like Killing Joke. They hit the hardest when the world is in turmoil and at the same time trigger a survival instinct.
Definitely agree with what you've said.
The world has always been in turmoil. That's why Killing Joke has always been great.
@@Riskmangler Killing Joke themselves are a turmoil!
this war would have been perfect for the band- let's hope we live to hear it
Well put
The gift that keeps on giving.
Congratulation from Brazil!
🔥🔥🔥
Jaz Coleman... blessed be...
why is every fucking kj song so fucking epic
Now ..more than ever .
2022 and still producing great work.Fabulous KJ .

Return of The Killing Joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Opern the Mind ....... and the Eyes!!!!!!!!!!!
I have listened to them since the 80s. It felt like I had magic ears and no-one else did, because no-one else I knew could see their eminence.
YES. This made my day finding out there's a new album.
One of the most complete Band since 80´s
Perfectly reflective of the system we live in.
What a track! ✌️
The Bends Ⓜetal Sickness, holy diver of darkness.
Crazy good
Killing Joke Preaching the real worldview of the environment we live in. With kick ass music.Unlike most pop music today.Thank the Gods for Them!
I Do thank the great Ancients For Them Indeed.
Sums up the mood of this shitty world we live in .
the grand daddy of industrial music still taking us to school
The greatest guitarist to ever walk the earth from the greatest band ever to grace it.Period.Replacing him will be like trying to replace coleman.Impossible.Met him once in a pub in sheffield.Totally in awe of the great man like a school kid.No longer will we hear the huge, beautiful sound of the es295,but what a legacy. That guitar and its place in KJ's sound has kept me alive.I'm indebted to him.
Just back from the Bristol o2 concert. (I still remember losing most of my hearing from the nighttime tour in 1985.) It took a few tracks to get going then suddenly the whole place just filled with their presence. The next hour went in a second, and I 'm going home wanting at least another 2 hours. Can't wait to do it again. 😎👹😎
killing joke is awesome. been a fan of them since finding out that they opened for joy division in 1980.
and there you go - they said it !!!!
killing joke did it again, great music for over 40 jears now.
Killing Jokes not dead Killing Joke not dead glad its NOT
Giants .
Storming track!!! Very excited for the new album!
Hard, powerful, driving music that consumes you. A voice, deep and melodic
Can’t wait for April 9th Hammersmith!!!!!!!
Tears of joy with how good this is...
brilliant, thanks guys.
They make no compromises and consistently go their own way.
▪️
Show me one video clip of them calling out the phakeAFdemik.
⬛️
Are we all understanding what they where telling us yet 🤔🤷♂️
I love his voice on his voice. The screams are great of course but I like more "singing" voice (like the 80's stuff)
So great to hear you guys again! This rocks!
omg consumerist anime on here
Here we go music ride for today
Another classic smoker from KJ🔥🔥🔥!!!
All hail the cathartic beauty that is killing joke
Nice grooving riffs looking forward to hearing more .
The worlds needs a killing joke album
Peace love and bravery.
Peace and Killing Joke love
Outstanding. Definitely getting a hint of Brighter Than a Thousand Suns era DNA in there. Fantastic. Gets better with repeat listens.
Great song!!! Introduced to KJ by DJ Mont in 1989 as an 18 year old. I got to see them that year in Miami Beach at The Kitchen Club. Finally met them many years later at their show at the Fonda Theater in Los Angeles. Still one of my favorite bands!
Hell yeah, "it's never too loud for KILLNG JOKE..." Thanks Lads for such some hudge tunes !!!
Amazing since more than 40 years...never get disappointed...getting old but...still a fan!
It's funny about the getting old thing ;+)...For me Killing Joke is head phones on, cranked up in the car or home alone....no one appreciates the thunder and serrated vocals....
Totally agree, fan since 1980.
Practically immortal at this point
Dang!!! I just found out this was out. Awesome as always!
Viva killing joke
RED, RED, RED, RED !!!!!!!!!
Fuck yeah.
I'm having this.
KJ STILL laying down the law.

Opening chords made me think: "I Am STILL The Virus"
We know we've survived the virus bullsht because KILLING JOKE are back! SEE YOU IN MANCHESTER/BHAM
2019 I heard I am the virus. Now this. Are Killing Joke creating reality in a weird prophecy way ?
You ain't seen nothing yet, check out - European Super State 2011 (predicted Brexit in 2016), I am the virus 2015 (2019), New Cold War 2015 (2022). Make the most of the next 4-7 years... :D
The virus is in the JAB…!!!
This band is NO JOKE.
It’s a KILLING JOKE.
Kevin "Geordie" Walker (18 December 1958 - 26 November 2023)
A consistently awesome band.
Brilliant again. Seen 'em live a couple of years ago, never seen such brilliant energy ever. Jaz was conducting a Black Mass of anarchy and emotion.
Yet another fantastic track. The primal pulse they create is really quite powerful and comforting.
Love this band
Love from argentina! The best cult Band of all time
Must get the E.P.! I can never get enough of Geordie.
Love like blood .
This rocks hard!!! 🤘🔥🔥🔥🤘
Killing Joke tell the truth.
Hails to the Masters! Best band ever!
