Love this! I recently bought an airbrush machine from AliExpress for $27 and was so impressed with the quality. It's such a game changer for ombre designs!!
The pressure you use on the trigger is what determines the flow speed. (I use an airbrush foundation & LOVE IT!) Just barely pull the trigger back and slowly keep pulling until it’s the right spray flow.💗
I think you did an amazing job! You’ll get there with the tension at the back. I DO know that you only turn it tiny amounts at a time and keep checking. Of coarse, your mixture has to be pretty spot on also. Great job 👏🏻. I need one of these in my life ❤️🇦🇺
So glad you did this, I also want an airbrush and am going to try Aliexpress. I watched your video wanting to know if a cheaper model would work. Glad you are also a 1st time user as that's what I'll be too, although I'm sure to have my own difficulties... lol To answer your mix ratio, I've heard its 1/3 - 2/3 or 1 part paint and 2 parts acetone. I have also heard you can use acrylic paint as well (same mix ratio), personally I would be looking for anything cheaper. The alcohol ink will also work too (use as is), my thought is: gel polish is $25 a bottle - to waste it, is painful. Even airbrush paint is cheaper at $10. a bottle (i think you use as is) and the bottles are bigger. Plus airbrush paint washes off with soap and water - easy clean up of everything... :) An eye dropper would help you transfer your mixture from one to another. But a better way is to use your cup. Put your paint into the cup, add acetone and give a swirl with a brush. Then put your finger over the tip of the gun, and pull back the trigger. It will cause your paint to mix, the machine is designed for it. Stencils you can get at Amazon, or Aliexpress, the have foldable plastic ones or a sticker kind. I did notice while you were painting that the paint in your cup was so close to spilling out... Remember to put on the lid before you spray... That large rubber thing you were asking what is this? It's a larger cup, for when your paint a bigger item, like a cake. Unscrew the small cup on machine and the larger one screws right in. Your nail turned out just beautiful, I hope my 1st try goes as well as yours... Sorry for the novel response.. :)
Thank you for posting this and thank you for being extremely detailed!!! I was just looking at one on Amazon... now I’m definitely going to buy one. (Side note: when you unboxed it in the beginning I noticed a dropper inside the “bag of tools”) Can’t wait to see more airbrush videos!! 🧡🧡
Cricut is expensive but it’s worth it. I got mine on sale at Joann fabrics, they do sales for cricut products pretty often so check there. I use my machine for a lot more than just my business so I definitely think it’s worth the buy
I brought into that airbrush makeup system just to get the airbrush for 19.95...then I cancelled the subscription... it's a very nice airbrush but I haven't tried it with nail art yet....but the cleaning after use is the reason I didn't keep the subscription... it's sold as something to make your life easy, but all that cleaning is a pitb lol...but I'm definitely going to try it with nails...
You have the pamphlet in front of you. Itll tell you what the pink cups are for... And how much acetone? Everyone has these tutorials but no mixture details.. frustrating..
