I just got a new airbrush gun and have been watching so many videos about how to use it. Yours is the first step by step, in detail, vid I have seen. Thank you so much for taking the time not only to show me how to use it but also how to clean it properly. ❤
thank you so much for the information. Loved your video. I'm going to try this. Never did this before. And this is why I purchased a air brush gun. Want to do ombre. Your nails are gorgeous. Great Job
i ordered this exact airbrush after seeing your video! i managed to find a reseller selling a brand new one! thank you so much for your amazing tips and the way you explain every step in detail, i absolutely love your videos🥺🥰💕
Hello Jemz I really like your video it’s really informative, I just had a training day to learn the air brush. My teacher said that it’s not “safe” to use acetone in the air brush, so I’m kinda afraid to use this method, but I’d like to try it to have my own mind of it. Do you have tricks to be mindful of ? 🙏
Nice❤ But.. what do you do when you use it on a press on or builded gel nail on your clients ? There will, in my opinion, be nail polish all over the clients fingers🤔🙈🤷♀️😂 (I know I can remove it with a cleaner brush.. but that will take a lit of time i guess 🙈🤔) Anyway.. thanks for the video.. i learned a lot❤❤❤
Excellent video! I really like your way of creating the blend by switching color order. I'm researching since I'm thinking about getting a airbrush for doing my own nails.
Thanks for replying to my comment. !! I have watched your video about 10 times. These nails are flawless!! I hope I can master this technique!! I'll send you my IG link and go show your page love!! Thanks again!!!💜
This video was so helpful for a beginner thank you! I notice that there’s alot of acetone throw into the air when I do this though, so you have any tips for that? Is is possible the back wasn’t unscrewed enough?
Hi babe! There is a ton of acetone when airbrushing so I ended up buying a ventilation booth and I’m got helps so much and sucks in all of the acetone.. I can’t imagine airbrushing with out it now.
Hi!! If you’re using gel polish and acetone your mixture is either too thin or too thick.. I can make a video soon! But I’d say you may have to add either more acetone if it’s too thick or more polish if it’s too thin.. I hope this helps! Plz let me know if you have any other questions and I can make an updated airbrush ombré video asap♥️
Nice tutorial and gorgeous nails!! I am def going to try to ombré the on the white instead of the other way around :-) Do you know you can mix the color and the acetone in the container on the airbrush by blocking the nozzle with your finger and pressing the trigger at the same time? That will prob save you even more time
yesss!!! Lol I actually pre mix in a shot glass now and then pour in my mixture! N saves so much time and it’s the same consistency for the whole set lol 😍😍😍
Do you have any videos of you doing this on a real hand? I'd like to see how much overspray is normal on their finger and the process of cleaning it up.
I get the airbrush nail art stuff as I know its the correct consistency and use that as a base coat Instead of using normal polish or gel as it's easier to clean too with the pre mixed nail are things
Aww yay thank you!!!! I struggled so bad at first and couldn’t find many videos! So Ive tried new things and wanted to share😍 still learning new things everyday so I will definitely be adding airbrush videos a lot❤️
I know this is a late response, but I use gel polishes and acrylic paints in my airbrush. When mixing acrylic paints use water instead of acetone or alcohol. U want to apply in thin layers, from a few inches (6-7 cm) away, to give the paint time to dry. Otherwise u get puddles and running or the air from the gun will spread any wet paint and end up giving u a splatter effect.
It could be that ur creating a lot of air bubbles when mixing the polish solution. Make sure that ur not shaking the polish before adding it to whatever u use to dilute it. Roll the bottle between ur palms to mix instead.
I do have a question. Why does my white gel shrink or get ridges when I cure no matter the brand? I've tried over 10 brands.I can't understand? Its only white gel polish.what am I doing wrong?
As far as that goes, I honestly am not sure. It’s only happened to me once when I was testing colors and only to one color.. so you use the Igel pure white or baby powder? I use both with they’re base gel and it cure perfect.. maybe try thinner coats?
Acetone will destroy (deteriorate) that rubber o-ring over time. Not to mention you're breathing in acetone particulates and increasing risks of skin sensitivities and allergies. Best to use acrylic paints specially designed for "airbrushing". You could still use gel polish as base or top coat....
Thank you. I have been airbrushing about 3 years now and my airbrush is still in great condition, I also invested in a ventilation system and sit right next to an open window with a mask and gloves, so my ventilation system sucks all the air and it goes straight outside, I’m not inhaling acetone ..
@@thejemzco well actually after seeing this video i went and bought an air brush and its honestly such a game changer! i will never have to use a sponge again!

Thank you so much for your tutorial. It’s very useful and your work is amazing x
No problem thank you so much babe
Hello. I have an airbrush that I’ve used with my art, would that work the same or does it have to be a nail airbrush system?
Hi , I believe it would work the same 🥰
I get the airbrush nail art stuff as I know its the correct consistency and use that as a base coat Instead of using normal polish or gel as it's easier to clean too with the pre mixed nail are things
This combo you used is perfection 😍
Thank you so much!
Try using a Q Tip for when you are cleaning the nozzle
Just tried that this weekend and omg worked so much better lol
You use acetone with gel polish ?
Hi love! Yes but only for the airbrush 🥰
@@thejemzco thank you , just ordered an airbrush, hope I can do it
@@magicmai63 I have some updated videos coming soon!! 😍 I just got some new airbrush paints so I’ll be reviewing them🤍
It can use any brand of normal polish?hope u can answer my queation.Thank you.
Yes you can use any brand of Gel Polish😍 each brand is different though so you would have to play around with the mixture 😊🤍
This is a good airbrush video i have seen
Thank you so much!!!
Can you use glitter nail polish in airbrush?
Hi love, I wouldn’t try it, the glitter will clog the machine.
Best and most helpful video! So excited to use mine now

Yay! So happy, your welcome🤍
I have another question, Can i airbrush the nail white instead of using gel polish and curing under the light.
Hi! Yes you can do that😍 I just prefer to gel polish. It’s really your preference ❤️
Hi, I need your help, I’m allergic acetone , can this method work mixing alcohol and acrylic paint ???
Hi love I have not tried that method yet. I’ve only tried acetone and gel polish. I am so sorry for not being of any help with that.

Yesss😍 I do that now lol saves so much tome
Time
Can someone tell me? when I spray Why so many bubbles to come out
It could be that ur creating a lot of air bubbles when mixing the polish solution. Make sure that ur not shaking the polish before adding it to whatever u use to dilute it. Roll the bottle between ur palms to mix instead.
Do you use normale gel polish?
Yes I do 😍🤍 I just add acetone and mix it
Can someone tell me how do you clean up the cuticle area on the client if you're airbrushing from cuticle down with gel polish?
I would use the liquid latex peel off polish and then after airbrushing you would just peel off that latex 😍😍😍
@@thejemzco Okay!!! Duh! Thank you so much!!
Very good video
Thank you!
Why couldn’t you mix first in a little dappen dish instead of thinking you need to get a brush down in there ?
I honestly didn’t think of that! I figured just pouring it straight in would be faster but I think I’m gonna try mixing in a dappen dish first now😍😍😍

@@thejemzco I haven't tried the ig white yet but I did order it.So ill try that when it comes.thanks for all your help..
Different factors but mostly a over buffed nail so try etching it first so the gel has something to cling onto and use primer at the free edge.
Can u pin the link for the air brush is from , you pinned the top part from Amazon but where can u get the bottom piece ?
Ohh yess sorry it’s from igelbeauty.com ❤️

Very good hack nice but Apres aer does the job better
Nice! Glad you found what works for you😍 I’d love to try the Apres system in the future ❤️
😻
Thank you love 😍❤️
i feel like this would waste alot of polish, if you use 5 plus drops per nail :/
Honestly I always end up needing more.. this method has worked amazing for me🥰 & if I’m only doing 2-4 ombré nails I use less .
@@thejemzco well actually after seeing this video i went and bought an air brush and its honestly such a game changer! i will never have to use a sponge again!
Your first spray landed mostly on the paper towel....🤣
It’s called a test spray . To make sure the color is how I want it 🙃
looks like a waste of material
