I had a hip replacement 8 weeks ago ,my surgeon was amazed at how fast I was up and about was allowed to go home after 2days I had not even hardly any swelling ," then "at 8 weeks pushing a shopping trolley it decided to throw a left turn ?? and although I felt a twinge it did'nt hurt and had to finish shopping anyway. That night it swell like concrete I panicked a bit but took antiinflam: tablets and gel on the swelling = still a little swollen but not as bad after 1 week ...beware of evil shopping trollies......as it's softened I'm not going to go see a Dr , but thats just me.
