The first day no pain. The second and third i never thought i would make it. It was cronic. Not too bad after that. Sleeping on the back is one of the hardest things i've had to do. No sleep and toilet every 45 minutes.6 weeks in and now feel ok. I actually feel better moving around. Walking up to 2 miles ,with a single pogo stick. Hope that helps someone. Very glad i had it done. No pain anywhere now. Combination of side and back sleep. Back sleep is for the dead only. They never complain.

I had a good experience with my hip replacement in 2018 at OTMH. The pre-op clinic where they taught me how to do stairs, told me what I should buy and informed me of what to expect - it was invaluable. The team was excellent and a lot of my concerns were greatly diminished by the time I had the surgery. I recommend being as informed as possible prior to surgery and also buying more than one grabber. I kept dropping my grabber and needed a second one to pick it up! I also practiced doing stairs and dressing myself with the grabber before surgery and I felt more confident as a result. My husband attended the pre-op class with me and took great care of me after surgery. Having your loved ones know the risks is very helpful. My recovery went very smoothly and I’m grateful for everyone involved.

@ 10 months after surgery I get a burning sensation and numbness in the thigh muscles, more annoying than anything. Strength is real good and it doesn’t affect my abilities to do anything physical; squats, can walk up and down hills for miles while golfing or walking the dogs. At 69 years young I’ll take this over hip pain. Might want to consult with your surgeon to make sure everything is normal.

ICE! I am 2 months out from surgery for a total hip (anterior) replacement. I still ice 2-3 times a day, on top of stretching and exercise (PT prescribed--I go 2x a week). I've made tremendous progress (although I was athletic to begin with and did lots of prehab, which it seems lots of surgeons ignore). I was on oxy, and I felt nauseous for two weeks post-surgery, but I would take it again in a heartbeat b/c it allows you to do the movement you need to do. I took 12 weeks off of work, and I'm glad I did. You might start the day feeling great, walking a mile or more, being active, and then: Pow. Exhaustion sets in. As the docs say, respect what your poor body has been through. It needs a LOT to heal. Thanks for these great videos Talking with Docs--I'm a devoted fan!

Yeah I’m having a tough time understanding why I’m tired and in pain after a week post surgery. I’m used to being able to just get up and bear through the pain but my body is like “uh, no, the nice surgeon just cut into your body and sawed your bone off and stuck a metal rod in there”. So I will take my time with the walker. I was using a cane to hobble before surgery, what’s the hurry now? I guess the learning for me is that yes it’s a common surgery, and yes, chances are I will feel much better in a few weeks, it’s still a major operation. So I’m gonna chill.

I had a total hip replacement (right hip) in July 2022 at age 50. Did a ton of prehab, particularly bike riding and went into the op fit and strong which helped immensely with post op recovery. Biggest advice from my experience is not to try to do too much too soon post op. I got back on a bike and even back on a squash court weeks after surgery, which was fine in moderation and without pushing too hard. I played a squash tournament in November 2022 and in hindsight that was a dumb move as it actually set my recovery back. I then had a bad accident on a mountain bike in July 2023 (broken ribs and some internal injuries in upper body) and this was a bit of a blessing in disguise as it laid me up for weeks and I had to return to exercise and full activity really gradually so my hip had the rest it needed to heal more efficiently. By November 2023 it was feeling the best it has in years. In my experience it takes a good 12 to 18 months for the muscles to recover properly from the op no matter how much you want it to be quicker than that.

I’m scheduled for replacement in November of this year. I’m an avid mountain biker and I’m worried about my limits on the MTB after full recovery. I’ve never been one to leave the ground too much but it is sometimes necessary to hit a small feature that sends you airborne. I also love to ride techy stuff. Do you still ride black diamond trails and how do you feel after a ride? Thanks in advance if you’re able to respond.

    • @brendanflanagan7392
      @brendanflanagan7392 2 місяці тому +1

@@OGMTB - best of luck with your hip operation. If you have been suffering from arthritis in your hip you won’t know yourself afterwards - words can’t describe how good it is not to have that constant pain.
I only took up mountain biking in the year or so leading up to my hip operation so I don’t do Black Diamonds anyway if I can help it but that’s only because of lack of skill on my part. I can say however that the hip feels completely normal and I can do any riding level that I could before the op and more. With much greater strength, mobility, balance and comfort than previously. You should have no problem returning to the same level of riding as before. You will just have to be really wary of crashes and landing on your hip. The last thing you will want is to dislocate the new hip or break your hip. Just make sure you do all your rehab, particularly getting to the gym and building up strength again when you get to that point post op (especially in the glutes if your surgeon is doing the posterior approach for the op)

    -Long handled scrubber for showering
-Multiple reachers, I put one in my bedroom, one in the bathroom and one by the couch.
-Walker, it allows smoother movement in the joint. (I have to have crutches in my house bcs I have narrow doorways.)
-Multiple small garbage cans or bags hanging off dressers knobs.
-Wedge pillow and several other pillows to put under legs. It keeps them from swelling. But lay without them sometimes during the day to let the hip flexor relax.
-Raised toilet seat unless you have a tall toilet. I’m 5’1” and have a 3.5 inch one bcs our toilets are to small.
-Commode if you don’t have a toilet on the floor you sleep or the front room/sitting room is located.
-I have a folding table and a seat with a footstool in my room to eat the first two-three weeks.
-A wide shower chair to transfer easier. An exercise strap to lift the leg up to get into bed/shower.
-I used command hooks to hang my crutches and reachers on.
I just had my second hip replacement 3 weeks ago. The first I had 4 months ago. I’ve had a lot of practice 😊
When the hospital tells you someone should be with you 24 hours. You need 2-4 weeks of help. Mine is longer bcs both my hips were really bad.
Be patient with yourself. Both my hips are different and have taken different times to heal!!!
Check with your surgeon about pain medicine, instructions bcs the hospital and surgeon instructions will be different!!!
And remember many people giving you instructions have never had a hip replaced. They don’t know what it feels like!!! Your having your bone cut/broken and mettle screwed and pushed into places it shouldn’t be. Your body needs time to adjust!!!!!
Don’t do to much bcs the bone needs time to grow into the replacement.
I moved to much the first time and ended up making my leg hurt a lot.
Last walk, walk, walk properly. It helps move the joint making it stronger. BUT don’t over do it. The pain shouldn’t be more than a 4,5, and move once an hour. I have my alarm set for every 50 minutes throughout the day.
    Hope these help!!!!

A week on and am walking with a cane or no assistance. Don't do too much. But do get in a walk every hour. Helpful for showering was purchasing a walker from Office On Aging which I keep in the shower to safeguard against falling. Also using walker at night to prevent falls. Eat high protein, no sugar. Drink lots of water. Give your body the fuel it needs to heal, rather than junk food. All these pointers you make are so helpful. I tried weaning off pain meds too soon and paid for it the next day. My recovery was brutal but after, I was able to walk again and above all, no more severe pain. Anyone that needs a hip replacement: DON'T put it off, get it done and over with!!!! Ice regularly, adjust your diet to include at least 60 grams of protein each day. I personally shoot for 90. LISTEN to your body! If you feel tired, sleep. Take your pain meds as prescribed but get off them as soon as you can. Drink lots of water and other fluids, this will help with the constipation. Keep stool softener around, it doesn't make you go but it makes it easier to go. Above all, no matter how good you feel don't push it. You'll only slow down your healing.
REMEMBER - THIS IS MAJOR SURGERY - IT'S GOING TO TAKE TIME.

I also realize the importance of protein to promote healing. Luckily, I worked in the dietetics field a few decades ago. I know Ensure, Boost and Premier Protein are good drinks, and I may drink them occasionally, but I think I'd rather get the protein from things like boiled eggs, maybe the Greek-type yogurts that are more concentrated in protein. I may make fruit smoothies, once I'm able to be up and around better. Cheese is another good source of protein; cheese sticks are handy since they're wrapped, and you can just eat them and squeeze the cheese stick up while keeping the wrapper on. Nice that they come in cheddar and mozzarella. As for fiber, I'll probably stock up on Raisin Bran cereal. I like it already, so it'll be no big deal to eat it a little more often to counter the effect of the Oxycodone. Hope eating the Raisin Bran will actually prevent that effect in the first place.

Purchased hip/knee replacemnet kit which has tools such as grabbers, sock assistance tool, shower sponge extender, etc to make things simpler . Performed prescribed ROM exercises as scheduled. I just had my hip replacement surgery on 5/7/24. First and foremost, thank you both so much for making these videos! You don't know how invaluable the advice is coming from medical professionals like yourselves. Below are a couple of points that I've taken away from my surgery.
    1. Buy a wedge pillow. For the first couple days, your pain will definitely be elevated. Having this wedge pillow under my legs while in bed reduced the pain by a significant margin. It's worth the investment.
    2. Buy a grabber and sock assistant. Remember, you don't just need to put clothes and socks on. You also need to take them off. Getting clothes off and on on the surgery side can really be a chore. As can doing simple movements suck as reaching for things.
    3. Have a meal plan if you live by yourself. Or put some money aside for a couple of days' worth of delivery.
    4. You WILL start feeling better. Just be patient. You lived with your hip pain for a while prior to surgery. Waiting a couple more weeks is nothing!
    5. Buy a portable toilet or portable urinal. Getting up takes time and you making it to the bathroom may be a race against time. It's just good to have around just in case!

I also had my surgery on 5/7/24 and am 62 and in good health. The one thing that I did not anticipate is the amount of knee pain associated with a hip replacement. As explained by my surgeon, the amount of rotational torque put on the knee during hip replacement (required for proper implant placement) REALLLLLYYY stretches ligaments and tendons in the knee area. Hip pain 7 days after surgery was a 1 while knee pain 7 days after surgery is about 5-6. Only treament is rest, ice, elevation, and compression. Now 14 days post surgery, knee pain is finally subsiding but my advice for others is to stay on top of the pain any way you can. Lots and lots of ice packs, NSAIDS, and my knee is elevated as often as practical.

I had Hip Replacment surgery two weeks ago on May 23. My biggest problem getting back to walking was that my operated leg was an inch and half shorter than my right leg and I still felt the difference when walking. My surgeon insisted that I use a walker for 2 weeks after surgery but I got feeling so depressed because I won't walking without a walker by the 2 week mark. I tried walking in my bedroom going around my bed to my left side bed table to my CPAP machine and my right hip was painful at being used normally for he first time in almost 8 years. I am still using a walker until my therapist has me use my cane at therapy and maybe I can switch to a cane for shorter walking distances for a while until my ĺegs get used to being even again. Told it could take 6 weeks to 3 months for that to happen. Will be nice when I no longer need my walker or even a cane to walk. It is taking longer than I expected from reading about others who had the same surgery. They did say that we each recover in our own time o ne is loner than some.

I started getting hip pain while sprinting across the street, and after x-rays,was told I had osteoarthritis. I had to stop sprinting, but thankfully I can still walk without significant pain. My GP recommended a hip replacement, but I declined,as I wanted to see if it would get worse. I am grateful that the hip has been stable for ~ 8 years. This video is good advice, discussing some things I hadn't considered if I had to have a replacement. I hope surgeons discuss this with their patients before surgery.

I had a THR at age 45 due to congenital hip dysplasia. I am now 62. I did end up with the operative leg being about 2 cm longer than my other leg, so I require a lift on the non-surgical side. I was massively disappointed, but still am grateful to have my mobility back. I followed all the post-op rules and did my physio. I worked very hard so that I would not have a limp. Aside from everything the surgeons have advised in this video, I would advise maintaining an exercise program to regain the strength you lost in the affected leg before surgery, and to maintain strength and flexibility as you age with the artificial joint. My hip joint is very stable. I weight train, cycle and ride my horse (my surgeon advised me to wait 7 months before riding, which I did). 😊

Especially when you get to pain in the non-operated leg, because your doctor can't admit that your new hip made that leg longer by an inch. So doing all my exercises for the operated leg has put stress on my unoperated leg, which now I need a attachment to the bottom of my shoe for that leg

Can I add a "to do" to your "to don't" list? Use a walker instead of a cane. A pre-op physical therapist mentioned that the people he sees who used a cane walk with a rocking motion with the cane, and still have that motion six months later without the cane. I really didn't need either but I used the walker in my house like training wheels, practicing a normal stride to help eliminate the limp I'd had for a couple of years. So mostly without, but used deliberately at other times. It's also very handy in the middle of the night to get to the toilet without falling or tripping over a snoozing dog.

You both are terrific, omg! Broke the femeral head in rt hip. NYC, went to HSS. Pre-break, I was a competetive racing sailor and walked 5 miles a day, climbed 50 steps up to my apt. 4 x a day up and down. 110 lbs, athletic build. Think this helped during the surgury and recovery. Surg was a success, but for loosing too much blood and needing 2 bags during that night as blood pressure was plummeting...scary****. They taught me to walk on crutches in the hospital. I got up and down my stairs fine, did this whole thing on my own. They sent a nurse every Mon. to chk my INR levels for clotting and stayed on low dose cummadon until allowed off. Was not on pain killers, did not need, only antibiotics for 2 wks. When allowed, I began walking and shortly built the time up to one hr. as the soft tissue was still healing and it would hurt if I continued. What hurt as well was the metal rod would ache from the cold temps, so I would rub my mittens up and down that spot to warm it up and it worked! Cannot remember how long it took to finally walk a long distance but I had to be patient and that is what I would tell anyone going through this. It's been 12 yrs, bike riding, fast walking, gardening, mowing, swimming, croquet, etc!....but my surgeon discuraged me from racing due to hiking my leg up onto the deck and hoisting myself up to preform my foredeck duties. He was a sailor as well. **** I would recommend your surgeon order an MRI of the vascular system of the hip area he will be opening up to see the layout of the veins, not to cut them!

Whatever you do have a phone around you if nobody’s home. You will not be able to move if the hip pops out. This was the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. The docs are Right! My hip got so bad the doctor said I was essentially walking on a broken hip. I waited too long & spent several years sitting on my couch, losing all my athleticism and strength. I felt pretty lousy for several weeks post op, mostly because of reaction to anesthesia and pain meds. Once reduced to over-the-counter pain meds and PT, things got MUCH better. 11 months post op, I’ve joined a gym & am working with a personal trainer - I wish I had joined as soon as PT was finished! The new hip is pain free & I’m still building strength. New lease on life! Exercise is KEY! Find a way that works for you! I believe I’ve paid a heavy price for waiting too long - the pandemic and caring for a dying sibling contributed.

I couldn't put on my shoes or socks myself. Finally, I began having some hip pain also - besides the leg pain - and I had MRI's and found stage 4 severe hip OA. From that point on I deteriorated quickly and several months prior to surgery I was almost completely immobile except for bathroom visits. At least when you have the second hip done, you know what to expect. What's also good is to make a list before the other hip surgery and stash if away with all your hip aids (IF the other one needs it) of the things you wish you would have done with the first one, like things you would have brought to the hospital, what ELSE you should have packed in your suitcase, a small pair of binoculars in case you have a good view from your window, etc. I might bring my walker and leg lifter from the start next time. I arrived at the rehab facility on a Sunday after using a walker in the hospital for three days. I had to wait to see a PT before they would get me a walker and let me go to the bathroom on my own. Got a little impatient waiting for the CNA to find the PT and decided to go to the bathroom on my own anyway, walker or no walker (used the rolling tray table -- I know, not smart, but I made it to the bathroom and back to my bed just fine).

The orthopaedic surgeon who did both my knee replacement surgeries is a Canadian who lives in Australia. He was a wonderful surgeon and did a wonderful job. He kept me in hospital for three weeks afterwards so that I could do rehabilitation twice a day. My knees are great but now I need hip replacement but my heart and lungs are not strong enough for surgery. I am waiting to have injections in my hips to relieve pain.

Interesting about the pain control, my surgeon’s instructions said explicitly do not try to “stay ahead of the pain” with the narcotics and some attention was given to immunonutrition, including shakes and supplements. They also gave me a strong NSAID and acetaminophen routine with weird timing which I found to not work for me so I switched to an 8 hour interval which is working well.

Interesting. Immunonutrition is good if deficient. We are very careful with narcotics though.

Hip replacement last October 24. Anterior is the way to go! Only needed Tylenol a couple times. Virtually no pain! Only felt stiff and sore. Until I broke it 4 days later. I felt so good, like I hadn't even had it done. Without even giving it a second thought I picked up and moved a heavy wood dining chair in a twisting motion. Felt it bad and heard the snap. I just broke a piece off and decided not to go back in for surgery since it was right on the spot to go into surgery again or not. Floater now. Lol. Healed great, so happy I did a replacement, no more pain!😊 Careful, don't mmy mistake. Set me back about 3 weeks.

After both hip replacements, I had no choice but to cease my S8 medication due to feeling so unwell that getting out of bed made me nauseous and dizzy. Same happened after my bilateral total knee replacement I'm recovering from now. Rehab was so important, and being kind to myself. Not comparing myself to someone else's progress.

Hi Doc’s ,I had my first total hip replacement in 2018 took an infection in 2019 had an op to take out the new hip and clean out the space but the infection was still there so the opened me up again and put in a spacer with antibiotic I had that in for 8 wks and I could not walk with it plus they cracked a bone when doing it . Then when the infection was away they put in another new hip , I can’t lie on the side since and now my other hip needs done but I am too scared to get it done because the Anesthetiser hit a nerve in my back and I jumped I really felt it and since then I can’t stand or walk for any length of time as the pain in my back is a burning stabbing sensation 😢 I think he damaged a nerve 😫 p.s could you reply to this comment if you think it is nerve damage in my back and the reason for my pain ,please doc’s 😔

After my THR the pain clinic would only give me Tramadol. Its for mild to moderate pain. I was so angry with them. Doctors are not allowed to prescribe pain meds. Except while you are in the hospital under their care. My surgeon was top notch and gave me back 20 years of my life. But I did find a different pain clinic for any future needs. 😊

Into my 4th month having hip replacement. Have done pre and post op physio, and still doing exercises at home and walking the park everyday. Still unable to put full weight down on operated hip without pain, hence the aid with a cane. Have had pain down the buttock radiating down the hip and leg since surgery. I’m no Doctor but it feels like the pain is radiating from sciatic nerve. Having an MRI on the 26th.

I had a total anterior replacement in March. By August I felt back to my old self. But it took a lot of work to get there!
I have a history of transverse myelitis (TM) and struggle with my gait and spasticity (which probably led to my early arthritis). I had the benefit of being in PT twice a week nearly every week from January until August. I did my PT homework and kept my regular strength training routine as much as I could up until the day before surgery.
After surgery I struggled with edema in my surgery leg, I had gained 15# in just a few days. My heartbeat sounded like it was underwater. I did not get much help from my surgeon about that other than, "Walk it off". I did have to take matters into my own hands. I took a diuretic and kept my leg wrapped for about 24 hours, I also got a lymphatic massage to help move the fluid out. It worked! Note - you cannot take opiates when you take a diuretic, it will create the opposite effect.
I did fall about 3 times within 8 weeks post op. Since I had a neurology history, I'm used to falling. I did not hurt myself or my new hip. Tip for falls: if you are going down, let it happen. Most injuries occur when you attempt to stop the fall. Keep your elbows bent, and literally roll with the fall if you can.
The biggest part key to surgery recovery is you and your determination. I had been in a wheelchair when I had active TM and simply refused to ever go back into one again. Move your body, trust the new joint, and don't give up. You will recover in due time.

This is - he said as a patient not a doctor - is dependent on several factors. The most important is to listen to your doctor. Because the approach your doctor uses (posterior, "mid", anterior) affects the likelihood of this being a problem. As is the type of prosthetic they used, the condition of your hip, and so on. My physical therapist worked with me to achieve better than 90 degrees, but that was under the advice of my surgeon.

Had THR 24/7/24. It went really well. No hip precautions. Up walking hrs after returning to ward. Great recovery, just used a stick for longer walks as pavements uneven. I started tai chi classes and was able to take full weight on hip week 5 post op. Then caught my toe on step going indoors (week 9). Jarred my leg and back and although I have full movement in hip my back is tight and I cannot currently put weight totally on new hip. So back to using stick until pain goes again. Continuing with gentle exercises on hip and back.

the last week before my hip replacement surgery I 1) got a haircut knowing it would be at least 6 weeks before my next one; 2) stocked the pantry just like we did during covid (and set up an account for grocery delivery while I was unable to shop); 3) took care of my outside spaces the best I could before having to pay someone else to do it while I was still unable; 4) moved everything I would need in the bedroom and bathroom to surfaces waist high and above so I could access everything I needed (e.g. clothing items) without breaking the 90 degree precaution. We also removed all of the area rugs for the duration to avoid the tripping hazard. The only issue remaining is my 20+ lb cat that I have to be aware of, lol

I had both hips replaced in 2009, one month after the other, then I had to have the second one revised within a month. After the revision I was in the bathroom to brush my teeth, lost my balance, and in preventing a fall my legs crossed and I dislocated! Ambulance ride to the hospital, they "pulled" on my leg and put the joint back in place. They sent me home. While in the ER they had me hooked up to an IV in case surgery was needed, so when I got home I really had to void! As I began to sit down (ADA HEIGHT TOILET) I felt a pop and stood straight up! I got another ambulance ride to the hospital! This time I requested a catheterization because my bladder was distended from all the fluids (they had hung 2 bags earlier and started another the second arrival) and they cathed me (self preservation for the doc😂) and again fixed my hip in place. This time I was admitted for 3 days. To add insult to injury I was fitted with a very cumbersome brace which didn't fit well and was "only a reminder" to be careful, AND my medical insurance denied the second ambulance ride and ER visit saying it was a duplicate. I called and told them to look at the time stamps, and explained my adventures. I got an embarrassed apology and the bill was paid pronto. So, it can happen in the least expected movements once the area is weakened.
I love watching your videos. I describe myself as a relatively healthy fat chick with bad bones, so most of my issues at age 70 have been orthopedic.

Had my left hip done (anterior) last Thursday. My left thigh is very swollen and tight. Can't get in and out of shower yet. Trying to "walk" numerous times per day - at least around the house. To call it walking is a stretch as its really just hobbling around with my walker. My pain is well controlled though I do have a sharp, burning sensation in the middle of my thigh. Figure its probably from getting yanked around and hammered on (life isn't pain free right?). I've had to sleep in a recliner since the surgery because I can't get my left leg up on the bed yet. Anyway, these videos are great. My thigh swelling is concerning but I'll give it another day or two before yelling "help". Be well :)

I always remember typing up a ward round and a patient came in after a fall and broke her hip. She was operated not sure if it was cemented or a poly but she had dementia and forgot about the operation and got out the bed the next day and re-fractured :(. revision surgery the next day. Majority of people are always delighted with their THR, but lesser so with a TKR. Socks and shoes is another one after surgery some can never really put socks on again. Physio is key. x

"Majority of people are always delighted with their THR"
My 56-year old sister and her elective THR are in the minority then! Neither she or her widowed husband and the rest of her family were "delighted" with her death approx. 12-hrs. after being released from the hospital.
The educated guess is probably a DVT/PE took her life. No postmortem was performed, so we will never know.
Facing a woefully overdo THR for both hips, my surgical roulette day is scheduled. Hopefully, I will survive to fight another day.

I have been doing walks and tried my bike stationary but am finding my legs saying Whoa Partner! Not so fast. Taking more time than I thought. Ordered some hiking poles for the fall hope I can enjoy going up in the mountains since my summer has pretty much been shot. Going back to work in a couple of weeks parttime. I have had both hips replaced (4 yrs apart). Smartest thing I ever did was go to a skilled nursing facility for rehap vs. having family do my daily care and having home visits from visiting nurse for therapy. The rehab facility folks are trained professionals and I got a hugely better variety of rehab therapy than could get at home or even going to a rehap clinic. I stayed there for 5 weeks and it was the best decision ever.

I will be having a THR in about 2 months. My plan was to go to inpatient rehab for 6-10 days as I am 77 years old and live alone - my grown childlren cannot stay with me. My surgeon said my insurance will not pay for inpatient stay as this surgert had more or less become day surgery - I will go home the same day as the surgery. A friend will stay with me for 4 days. I have a plan - purchased equipment I think I will need and I'm in good shape and not overweight. But I had had a lot of pain and decreased mobility for about a year. I was a therapist for about 30 years and have worked with many hip replacemetn patients at a time when people stayed in the hospital for a long time and in a rehab hospital for over a month I think my perspective is skewed and maybe I know too much because, even thought I have had friends who have recently had THR and did just fine, I am very nervous about this surgery.

Now I had the left side done feb 23, 2024 everything seemed different the doctor used metal staples which surprised me because he didn’t use them on the right side, I was shocked when the bandage was removed to check the wound 27 metal stitches and my knee was hurting me, which didn’t before. Ok so I got thru all that now Im in week12 and my back is hurting really bad making walking a bit painful im going tomorrow to see the doctor, Im so depressed I just started a new job 4hours m-f Im sitting for that time. Im 68 is it a normal thing to have back pain 12 weeks in???
