- For industrial designers and rendering professionals, who need to create self-lit objects commonly found in consumer electronics. The new emissive material, in Rhino’s render engine, make objects glow and cast light onto other objects.
I was just thinking about how to render self lit objects yesterday, nd here is the answer! Wow thanks! :D
the only issue is the ad on top of the box, I couldn't remove the ad for the next video so I don't know if the feature this person is modifying is the intensity or not.
absolutely. how frustrating the overlay video suggestion is 3/4 in the current video.
Rendering so beautful V7~ Thank's for sharing.
The only issue is the speed of rendering, it’s laggy and super slow.
Beside it’s quite hard to adjust the GI/AO setting.
It will be nice to see improvement within rhino nation renderer as the work flow will be much more efficient
A modern graphics card with lots of cuda cores makes the rendering super fast. Time to upgrade your hardware to take full advantage of the new features!
Hi Mahmood - Rendering speed in Rhino 7 will very much depend on your hardware configuration. If you're main task is rendering, I'd advice to invest in a nice Nvidia card with as much VRAM as possible as well as getting as much RAM as you can.
can you remove the suggested video overlay towards the end of your video? it blocks what you are explaining in the properties window tutorial.
i am not getting the emission option
Make sure you are using a pbr material and have added the emission channel
🙏🙏🙏
Thanks
Can we PLEASE have some audio?
Hi Kelvin - These are just preliminary show-and-tell videos of Rhino 7 features. We are building up new learning resources that include short videos, webinars and Getting Started tutorials. There are quite a few available already here, ua-cam.com/video/EDd2wcTKWgE/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/A5VzXL6MmHc/v-deo.html. Many more on their way!
