This is an additional upload to the video we posted on our German channel Watchvice 😊 (hence the manly hands :-D)Many people enjoyed it so I wanted to share it with you on here, too!
This fake is slightly better to recognize as a fake as one i did see a couple of days ago(super scary close, even). My friend(over 25 years in restoring clocks and watches also does maintenance) he had to look 5 times at some parts of the movement. It even used the same steel variant or as close as can be in hardness.
There are way better fakes out there, do your research. Don't let these snobs tell you you're devaluing their watches by proving you can get the same exact thing for 1/10th the price
Hello, this is a greeting from China, I have sent the issues you mentioned back to our reproduction department and we will improve them in the new version. Thank you!
The Chinese engineers designing these counterfeits do an outstanding job for the price point and know exactly where the discrepancies are. Factories like Noob, ARF, ZZ ect. correct these discrepancies one at a time and mark it updated examples as the next version to keep sales progressing as the latest version. Noob Submariner for instance is up to Ver 11 or 12 which is what the watch in this video looks like and typically can be found for $350. If the girl posting this video paid $600 for the watch she used for making this video I'd like to contact her and see if she'd be interested in buying the Golden Gate Bridge.
I was actually thinking the opposite. I seen pictures of replica movement before and I thought they looked a lot closer to the original, but this video give me a much better idea of how far apart the fit and finishing is.
There's certainly a very obvious lack of fine machining work on the fake. It's very very obvious and it look bad even compared to something like a 2824-2. The missing blued hairspring is a dead giveaway too. I think this video actually shows the quality of the rolex very well. Not saying a rolex is worth the crazy money it's costing now. But it's definitely a well made object
Regarding craftsmanship, Rolex should cost 1,5k tops! After seeing that movement I'm disappointed, but it became clear to me, why they don't have crystal back! :)
@Nigel Molesworth You're right, they won't. Rolex is a master marketing company. That being said, it means that the quality and complexity of their products don't reflect in the price tag. Sure, they could double the price again as they did in the last ten years, and I think they will, as long as there will be suckers willing to pay the price! Hell, that kind of bubble is known for centuries. Google "tulip mania" and you'll see what I'm talking about. ;)
Yes, good point. I'm not aware of a single Rolex model with a display back. I have a Hublot Big Bang (don't tase me bro) with the rose gold case, carbon fibre dial and tire tread silicone strap. The display back shows the many different materials they use in their movements (that they buy, not make themselves).
Scary how close they are getting. I still remember when removing the caseback and seeing the fake movement was “game over”, but now, they are getting closer to the original movement....
You should see an ACTUAL superclone. No way this is a top tier replica. I dont endorse fakes, but Im well versed in the most recent superclones out of curiosity, and this one looks like shit in comparison.
@@matousmaier2871 He isn't wrong. Get the latest noob factory clone or a VSF factory clone of this submariner and I can assure you that you'd have to be an expert to tell any difference.
@@RedWolf5 Id happily tell it's fake if i ever buy that and feel free to walk away from me i won't waste my money just to satisfy other materialist people. and my point was , why spend that much on a watch , 600 is still too much tho.
@@VJETRA I repeat if you want a Rolex buy a real Rolex. I’ve had many watches in my lifetime from $5 and up .. I love watches so when I buy a good watch it truly satisfy me. Is interesting to me that you got so triggered by my comment, I truly hope one day you make so much money you can easily afford a Rolex and not even look at the price tag. Good luck
Fun fact: If you're rich, you can wear a fake and everybody thinks, its an original. But if you're broke, even if you got an original one, everyone thinks it's fake :D
When most of my family came to visit me for my birthday, they all gave me a Rolex GMT, a beautiful bulletproof watch. I am a parking attendant in Los Angeles, California, and I wear it every day with great pride. Many customers compliment me, but one completely ignorant and jealous guy told me it was fake. I told him that I don't care because it will still work for 100 more years and my son and grandson will wear it too.
if the cosmetics reach to a point where you would need tools to be certain which is the counterfeit and real, then the manufacturers are doing a very good job.
@PooPaNuuaKuua Not really. Watch brands such as Rolex, AP, Patek, etc. are valued like stocks/gold/houses, and they never devalue. If you buy a Rolex now you can wear and enjoy it then turn around and sell it in 2 years and get an increased profit from what you paid. You can't do that with any normal or replica watch
@@mrjrob11 No you can't unless it's a classic older one. No one pays more for used than new unless it's a well respected antique that's no longer made. Get real.
@@alfredhermansen4787 Alf wth are you talking about? Its like buying gold or any stock, except with something like a Rolex if you know the right ones to get, you only profit. You buy the watch for 15k retail, in 2-5 years the same thing could be worth 20k retail, going for 18k used. But why would you wanna sell it so soon anyway? You could enjoy it for 10 years and it could be worth double the price retail at that time. A lot of luxury watches will increase in retail significantly each year, especially if its a color variant. The watch this video is about is a great example, lasted only 11 years on market, got discontinued last year and is now double in price, it was highly sought after and its price will most likely continue to go up
Because you don’t know what you’re looking at probably. And neither do I. So making comments like this makes you look stupid to the people who do, just a tip 😉
@@andromeda4641it is cheap to copy, the expense is in the R&D and design department. Then you have to pay skilled workers in Switzerland and then the cost of operating a global brand. These all needs to be paid for. Making money off other’s hard work is immoral and shameful.
They don't quite have the balance wheel and regulation copied... yet. That's an immediate give-away of the fake. But... it is very common for good replicas to have genuine parts mixed in (dial, hands, crystal, etc.). They can swap in a real Rolex bridge and balance and make it look gen. They'd have to have a donor movement though, so not cheap. Ever wonder why Rolex restricts the supply of their parts so much???
It’s not guaranteed the material quality of the parts are equal. (It’s one of the main reasons the GMT Master II movement has been attempted at cloning, but the jump hour feature is still considered a “time bomb” because the spring in that mechanism is very prone to breaking). Copying geometry is now straightforward; copying the entire process of making custom alloys is still difficult and expensive.
Thats because there is a limit of movement inside the watch Quartz , Automatic, Machanical the whole world uses a varience of these 3 movements Rolex doesnt make any movement that isnt available outside ; they just charge a lot for the same movement plus they have kinda expensive labor
@@Diepvries11 Save up all your pennies and buy one then. The fact that you are on here looking at the video drooling supports the fact that you are jealous.
The gears aren't machined quite as smooth the jewels aren't as clean and clear but it will probably last as long or longer because it was machined much rougher ! The fake looks like a really good watch for the price !
no one's ever asked me if mine are fake. but lets face it, if you are 20 years old slinging burgers while going to college you aren't going to be sporting a Rolex most likely. If you are in your 40's, have done well for yourself, the people around you know that and so do complete strangers just from how your carry yourself and behave. Anyways, if anyone asked me if I was wearing a fake, I'd just say yep and move along. I wear a rolex as a prize to myself for my own achievements in life. I don't wear them for anyone else.
If you're rocking a replica than power to you for having the ability to admit it. They're nice watches, desirable beyond doubt and champions of the timepiece community. On the other hand if you're wearing a real one and tell people it's fake to boost your ego -- kick rocks!
This comparison is a testament to how people are basically just paying for a name. To me, the negligible difference doesn't justify a 15,000 dollar price difference.
@@Jim-hw4bx Not only that. Watches like the Rolex are luxury items because of the name and the history they and the watchmakers working for them hold. A Picasso painting isn't any better than what a professional modern artist would be able to paint either.
Problem is corruption but i can say the $468 dollar models released this year look way better on the inside. This $600 fake is actually worth maybe $268 and appears to be an old model from 2 years ago. The new shit looks much better. And preforms better.
I'm blown away at the quality of the 600 dollar Rolex... Outstanding job. I have a Rolex explorer that I bought 2nd hand. I had it sent to the Rolex certified repair/seller and had it serviced. I also wanted to make sure it was authentic because I have heard that the knockoffs are very good nowadays....and this video proves that.
Quality, sure--if it really is well-built and doesn't merely look that way. It's not true that steel is steel is steel. To be a great watch every part must be made of a great alloy, the right one for the job the part does, and damn the expense. Other questions include: How will the crystal wear? Will it be noisy and annoy you in quiet rooms? What will happen when it inevitably falls on the floor as you're putting it on or taking it off? When it needs a repair, how is the part to be sourced? (Strong chance, I'm guessing, that a genuine part won't fit.) How well does it keep moisture out? How is the paint on the bezel going to hold out? There must be many more. Great at keeping time doesn't equate to Great Watch, or Casio would be the last word (although I'm not saying you said any different; just wanted to say it). I lean towards a guess, however, that it's very ok for $600. (Except I don't like the Rolex look too much anyway.)
I got my Breitling secondhand and immediately sent it to Breitling to be serviced the same day I received it. They take 16 - 20 weeks to do them but much to my relief it came back with a genuine service certificate. Chances always were it was genuine because I've never ever seen or heard of a knockoff Breitling Hercules.
@@theprince08853 Absolutely right now but as that technology gets cheaper and these fakers get more technically sound they are bound to catch up eventually. It will be up to Rolex to make it harder to fake their watches.
@@OsireionAbydos For the finishing to be done it depends on highly skilled manual labour. I have no doubt that technology in general will advance to the point where hand finishing is not needed. Have you seen any Nomos movements? It's a mixture of hand and machine finished but looks pretty damn flawless.
Pretty sure you'll find zero precious metals in fake, unlike almost every original Rolex (platinum logo, gold screws, platinum numbers painted on a GMT Master bezel etc) or any other special materials like rotor coated in Teflon. Also Rolex has some secrets up their sleeve that are impossible to replicate for cheap like laser etched crown logo inside the sapphire crystal. And seems like Rolex is switching to relatively new 72h movement. And so far I've seen only one Chinese movement higher than 42h. And China still struggles to release at least a single watch with decent finishing on the movement.
@@smashexentertainment676 The laser etched crown logo was replicated years ago. Also these fake manufacturers use ETA/Selita movements. If there's a movement out there with a 28,800vph with a 72 hour power reserve then they'll just slot that into the fakes.

In todays era of technology, miniaturization doesn’t impress me as much as it did even 20 years ago. I am more impressed with super quartz movement. It’s a blend of circuitry and gears for the dial.
Swazer swazers, you’re actually not wrong at all I hadn’t even thought of that as I was in awe at how these watches work. But now I realize we’re like a giant watch with same intricate and sensitive as details inside in a gushy way🥴😄

@@АлександрАлександрович-т8ж6й if it’s to feel important, then why do you want a watch that says Rolex on it. The bottom line is people buy fakes because they can’t afford the real ones and they still want to pose.
Oh no, it doesn't matter to me what logo printed on the dial. It would be even better without logo at all. The point is rolex replica's has very very close level of quality as original watch so you can buy great watch for vey low price
Clones have advanced considerably since the two years this comparison was posted. The differences between modern super clones and authentic are staggeringly minute.
The Chinese factories purchased the same machine tools as the Swiss factories and now the differences in finishing are only visible under a microscope. In many ways there is no difference at all, and the parts are interchangable.
Personally, I love the design on many of these luxury watches. They sure are amazing looking and come with the highest quality. However, I cannot justify paying the price for them. I'm also not a big fan of fake watches and respectfully I do not buy them. What I do is find other reputable brands that make watches that look similar, or their line of homage watches. This way I feel great wearing the beautiful watch and save a ton of money. Lastly, no one cares what I wear as long as I like what I wear. And the same goes for you buddy.
@Watch Geek I suspect WG what will happen is it'll go back to pre insanity levels. Steady enough sales, prices lowered and a smaller community of actual collectors. All it will take is a big enough meme to spread among the general public that the "values" of luxury watches - which were once solidly mid tier brands and cost not much more and often less than an average months wages - are overcooked and far more about marketing than reality. I further suspect fakes getting closer and closer will plug into this. An 500 quid clone is say 80% there, is it worth 8 and a half grand to make up the 20%? kinda thing.
Note also how in the video they wind, set the time/date, turn the bezel, much more quickly to exaggerate the fakeness of the fake. And fakes are inferior in this respect, but consider the price difference... Caveat I NOT condone fakes. I wouldn't wear one if you paid me(plus I'm not much of a rolex fan anyway).
I don't know if I agree on the "value" part. The fake is cheaper and more attainable, hence why they are so popular. The Rolex is tons more accurate, truly waterproof, and more robust. At the end of the day, if you have the disposable income, then the Rolex IMHO is actually the better value. You get more, a lot more, and when you go to sell you can get all of your money back, maybe even make some money. Sell a rep and see what you get. Even the rep boards demand an accounting for your price, they won't let you make a dime of profit off of selling a rep. That does not represent good value to me.

THIS IS NOT A 600$ FAKE! This looks like a 300-350$ Noob submariner, there are WAY better replicas, like the VSF and the ZF one for around 400-450$. The model in the video is obsolete and mounts an old bad SH3135, the new ones mount very good VR3135 or the VS3135. I wonder why in these video comparison you guys never compare the latest and best reps, and only compare the "bad ones" lol
Both have value, I'm not mad at anyone who buys knockoffs. I would buy the knock only because it stainless steel. I couldn't see myself buying a watch over 5k that's steel.
If you are going to get a replica….find a watchmaker that would be willing to work on it and have the movement cleaned. Even here you can see dust and metal shavings in the movement. Having the movement cleaned will both prolong the life and improve the accuracy as they usually are not up to spec and were never adjusted properly
Picked up a AMZWATCH's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
these superclones need to improve their work.. the date script is becoming too sharp.. they need to lower their finishing standards if they want to remain convincing
Its crazy how far fakes have gone. There is even the newer fakes with the 3235 movements with 70 hour power reserve. From what i read online the company called VSF that makes it actually did a good job on it this time. Would like to see a comparison of that in the future!
VSF does the best submariners, Clean/BTF for the daytona. Unfortunately seeing how China can mass produce these faster than rolex and work just as deadly accurate should go to show everybody the real worth of a rolex. The only thing that'll set them apart is their solid precious metal pieces. There are not solid gold/platinum reps out there, only plated ones. But this is a wake up call to every watch lover discussing the objective value, rolex is not worth the hype.
I have a VSF 126613ln. Love it. Solid; runs great. Very fucking close to gen. Didn't cost me $15k. If it gets stolen or somehow gets destroyed I'll just buy a new one and not sweat it.
@@thanks4that261 i have seen fakes from the 80s work until now, this assumption only apply for fakes under 100 dollars. But the high end super clones work flawlessly like the real ones.
they are brilliant, but the its not ethical to copy a watch, for 500 dollars you can get a good diver seiko, its better to buy an "inferior" watch from a brand that has history and actually creates something, than some brand or company who just tries do to the exact same as the big company, and do something that is not legal. But the watches are great, no doubt about it!
You'll find replicas that are even more accurate. Watches that even rookie watchmakers can't distinguish. They may just have a screw or gear very slightly different - rest all exactly same. The problem is that even those genuine watches don't cost $10k. So if the current/ex-endors sit down and form a cartel - they can easily copy many of the models for a fraction of the cost. Because they are not incurring any R&D expenses on design or patents. Just like the original Swiss or American NCE (drug/medicine) that costs $100 is made by a 3rd party in Africa for $2 with the same formula and materials for a diff. brand. And it costs them barely $1.5 per capsule.
Rolex is just marketing thats not watch making in the 21st century it was quality watchmaking in the 20 st century but they are moving backwards in the game once the hype dies the brand will turn to ashes

I've always said Omega is the superior brand. With Rolex you pay a premium for the five point crown. I'm currently saving my pennies for a Planet Ocean GMT with the black and white ceramic insert. Now I could buy a Rolex for the money but, why would I want to?
I think the general rule of thumb for this sort of stuff is 1/2 of 1/2 of retail. So AD's are charged about 1/2 of retail to buy, and the manufacture pays about 1/2 what they charge AD's to produce. So about $2k in parts, labour, distribution, employee benefits etc.
I came across a collector, and weirdly enough the fella wears a fake Rolex and keeps his real one in the vault. It's such an odd thing to do, might as well just wear a Seiko - atleast it's original and reliable.
Imagine owning a great watch and instead of enjoying it, keeping it in a vault. Can’t understand. This guy probably would have a heart attack if he saw how and where I wear my Rolexes.
I think the scariest thing about this video is that this replica 3135 isn’t even the most recent iteration. There are lots of things about this sh3135 that have been fixed and updated in the new vs3135 to make it much more gen like and reliable. The one thing the Gen movements have that rep movements haven’t been able to replicate yet is the free-sprung balance wheel. Once they can replicate that, we will all be in trouble 🥸
Actually this was an early SA3135, the SH has the hairpring inverted and the regulator is on the left, not on the right of the hairpring end as in this one. Also the pusher to release the stem now it's inline with the 2 screws next to it (and like in the gen one). This one has run at least 3 years and it shows it by the debris inside.
Personally I'd always go for a replica like that one you showed to us. In fact, I have one, pretty old too, still working without problems! A real rolex is awesome, of course it is, but in a world of smart watches spending 11k on a "normal" watch doesn't appeal me that much...
Agreed. I would be scared to wear an $11k watch. Or I would need a bodyguard at least.. That'a why I only wear $300 modified Seiko automatic watches. They look good, work well and I won't lose much in case of it breaking or disappearing as I spend a lot of time hitchhiking, fishing and hunting.

I love Rolex quality, but this reinforces something that I've been thinking a lot about lately. My dad could have bought a Rolex for $90 when he was young. In today's money, that's roughly $950. To me, that is their actual value. There is no quality or build changes that justify spending ten times that amount on what equivocates to the exact same watch from 60 years ago. It bothers me a lot. I want a Rolex because they are near-perfect watches. I want the best because I love myself and I want my wife to be proud to be under my arm, but I'm not willing to pay the ridiculous markup just so a stranger will see me wearing a Rolex. I can afford to buy dozens of Rolex watches at their current price, but I refuse to do it. This fake $600 watch here solidifies to me that Rolex could sell their watches for $1,000, but they choose not to. Thus their brand symbolizes greed to me. People think a new Rolex is a sound investment, but I truly believe their inflation bubble is going to burst.
Lol. A wholy Made in Switzerland watch sold for $1000? Let's conveniently forget about wage costs, machinery costs, overhead, R&D, marketing, patent costs etc. If I could hire your labour for pennies, may be you would have room to talk. Get real. These fake watches only have to copy and cut corners, nothing else.
@@g43654 if there's one thing Rolex hasn't done much of lately is r&d. Almost all of their designs except for the sky dweller are 60 years old with marginal improvements to their movements.
The really impressive thing is how the replica manages to get so banged up on the inside... like it's really hard to damage components and finishes that much. They must engine turn the bridges and then the next guy on the assembly line throws them against a brick wall...
I honestly couldn’t tell the difference between the two had they not been side by side. Now they were, the dirt and grime inside the fake one was overwhelming. It seems like addressing this obvious issue would take very little effort.
I work in real estate, especially foreclosures and one house the bank evicted the owner left behind a safe filled with Rolex watches. I thought I won the lottery. Went to a local Rolex dealer and friend, and all 24 Rolex watches I brought in were fake. The dealer said the watches were some of the best forgeries he's ever seen, and if I wanted to sell "replica," Rolex watches I could. It's absolutely amazing. I put them on Ebay and told the buyers exactly what they were, but I put in some videos and pictures of the work and movements, engraving, etc and each sold for around $500-$1,000. I'll never do it again, but it just amazed me that people who know that what I'm selling isn't the real deal. It took about 2 days to sell every watch. I don't think anyone cares if it's real or not unless they're trying to re-sell it or invest.
Fake watches are worn by fake people: that is, people who think that wearing a Rolex will make them more respectable than they actually are. At a price of 600 -1000 $ one can find very good genuine watches and be him/hershelf.
What about a normal person who happens to own a real rolex. Will they not get the same respect because they ain't wearing a suit? I understand your point on fake watches (and agree), but it has nothing to do with respect. Wearing a fake you're just trying to be someone who you deep down know you aren't, has nothing to do with respect. You sound like there are levels of respect.
Or maybe your favourite watch is a rolex or other brand that you either will never afford or justify buying, so you buy a good fake. Doesn't make them a fake person at all. It's a watch. If anything, those who want to crow about what they paid for a watch are the fakes.
True. But at $6000-$10.000 You wont be able to buy a new rolex like say the 126000 because the AD won't sell You one. Therefore a good replica is an alternative at a fraction of the cost.
@@moztheroz yeah fake watches are for fake people. If you want a Rolex but can't afford to buy one...buy something you can afford or even a good hommage. Plenty out there like for example Steinhart. Concentric and evenly spaced dynamic action....replica not so much....if tolerance on replica parts is so poor, just a matter of time before this action worsens and accuracy of replica fails....
I like how they go so slowly when doing anything with the genuine and then fast forward through everything with the fake. On the replica they went through all 30 dates in like 3 seconds.

@Nigel Molesworth Something can be overpriced while still retaining value. Its not retaining value because its such an amazing watch. It's retaining value because it was made by Rolex.
Perhaps every 18 to 24 months, I'll shell out a substantial amount of cash on a Rolex super clone. I'm a watch collector and I do this to understand/study the current state of the counterfeit market. Similarly, I scrutinise the dial, case, hands and movement up close. I can honestly say from my experience that even the costliest clones have significant shortcomings which are easily spotted by the trained eye. Yes, some of them have managed to impressively churn out dials and cases that are of a really high standard. But there are always obvious and significant defects that I feel a watch enthusiast could pick up quickly with a loupe. Obviously it does help immensely if one has the original to compare to the fake, but there are some high quality videos out there (like this) that provide the necessary basic education that can save one from a bad trade/scam.
Unless you're asking people on the street for their watch to compare to your genuine version, or to take apart the case back, or ask to look at their watch under a loupe, you're not gonna be able to tell the best replicas are fake just by looking at a passerby's wrist.
Without a genuine at hand to compare, I don't know how many people can tell which one is the fake. Probably main difference would be precision and reliability, but only time can tell that. (obviously, also lume and waterproofing)
Excactly! You' ve told all the cruisial truth. The steel (of a τop ''quality'' replica) is very good any more, the finishes are perfect, the general icon is very persuading for it's typical value also! Well...what is the point can we should argue? Probably the strenght and reliability. Anyway I' m hearing last season that the clone's movement 3135 accuracy is approximately competitive with genuine's 3135 movement. Cruel for the historical luxury brand? Yes definaterly but.... ''the river never return back to mountain'' as tells a very old greek adage in my country (Greece). Have a happy new Year!
well if you open them up the fake one is pretty dirty inside, however regular people don't do that. The fake unsurprisingly well-finished. Their are a couple date numbers that are not as full and the sunray lines are too pronounced but those are not really quality issues, they are just different from the original
The thing with wearing a replica is that deep down you know it’s fake, and it doesn’t have the same feeling as wearing a real one. People saving up for a real Rolex takes many months or years, and that sort of accomplishment you feel when buying a real Rolex is worth it.
Around 15 years ago some Rolex watches were being made in China before being sent back to Switzerland to be finished, they had what they called a third shift problem.
This is an additional upload to the video we posted on our German channel Watchvice 😊 (hence the manly hands :-D)Many people enjoyed it so I wanted to share it with you on here, too!

Wow, Jenni! Just wow! Thank you!
This fake is slightly better to recognize as a fake as one i did see a couple of days ago(super scary close, even). My friend(over 25 years in restoring clocks and watches also does maintenance) he had to look 5 times at some parts of the movement. It even used the same steel variant or as close as can be in hardness.
Looks great, vintage on the inside.!

@PooPaNuuaKuua Not really. Watch brands such as Rolex, AP, Patek, etc. are valued like stocks/gold/houses, and they never devalue.
Basically yes!
It’s not guaranteed the material quality of the parts are equal. (It’s one of the main reasons the GMT Master II movement has been attempted at cloning, but the jump hour feature is still considered a “time bomb” because the spring in that mechanism is very prone to breaking).

Better than the Rolex is worth anyway.

For sure, but the quality of materials and parts are garbage, they usually break in a year or 2 and then you've got a fancy looking broken watch

they are brilliant, but the its not ethical to copy a watch, for 500 dollars you can get a good diver seiko, its better to buy an "inferior" watch from a brand that has history and actually creates something, than some brand or company who just tries do to the exact same as the big company, and do something that is not legal. But the watches are great, no doubt about it!
Finally a good and short video: 3 minutes are enough to see most of the details. Good job!
Scary how accurate they are making them appear!
Open up a Rolex, and you can see why it doesn't and will never have a display case back. Drab, drab, drab.

I would like to see what the actual cost of making a genuine Rolex is in comparison to the retail price in the dealers shop
George - that's rule of thumb when there is not heavy, heavy branding and marketing and heavily inelastic supply. I suspect its more like 10% not 25%.
1/3 on normal stuff...rolex spend heavily on marketing so prolly half....like a car dealer..
For a 15.000 $ watch is about 3000 but in Geneva average salary is 12.000 dollars/ month and in China is...
Less than 800eu.
Even the cheapest Seiko's are being faked, and besides that Seiko ranges from cheap to even over 10K as far as i know.

@@Stuntmannetje I've never seen a cheap fake Seiko. Got any links?
I have never been disappointed since I became a customer of amzwatch. Their watches are of exceptional quality.
This is why I only buy new watches from the AD. Not a lot of youtubers will show this because they are pre-owned dealers themselves.
Personally I'd always go for a replica like that one you showed to us. In fact, I have one, pretty old too, still working without problems! A real rolex is awesome, of course it is, but in a world of smart watches spending 11k on a "normal" watch doesn't appeal me that much...
LOL world of "smart watches". People who buy a Rolex will get both smart watch and a Rolex.
This Rolex has a very nice model, I actually bought it for 900$. If you want, I can sell it to you from abroad.

@@samedbilgen9547 watch is a watch, it tells time. Nothing special. No need to be genius to "understand watches" 😂 Some likes mechanical, some likes electronic and some likes solar...
You are SO , SO right ! ...

The really impressive thing is how the replica manages to get so banged up on the inside... like it's really hard to damage components and finishes that much. They must engine turn the bridges and then the next guy on the assembly line throws them against a brick wall...
It's probably to do with the pot metal they use or the chickens running around on the workshop floor.
Not a grade "A" rep.
NOOB or VSF look real close to genuine.
Probably because they stole the components from old used Rolexes.
The materials they are made from are from old recasted Rolex Clones. LMAO
Beautiful replica. I will buy it any time over overpriced Rolex for fun.
@@moztheroz yeah fake watches are for fake people. If you want a Rolex but can't afford to buy one...buy something you can afford or even a good hommage. Plenty out there like for example Steinhart. Don't set the date north of between 3 and 9. That's roughly when parts start to move inside, and changing the date right as that pin is engaged can snap it or damage it.

Set the date only when the hour hand is between 3 and 9, i.e. the lower half of the dial.

Seems like authentic balance spring has very solid & regular action. Replicate , not so much. Looks funky. If you slow vid speed, the Rolex balance spring action is a “beauty” to watch. Concentric and evenly spaced dynamic action....replica not so much....if tolerance on replica parts is so poor, just a matter of time before this action worsens and accuracy of replica fails....
All very well showing the inside, but a watch measures time. What is the difference in accuracy of the two watches?
I like how they go so slowly when doing anything with the genuine and then fast forward through everything with the fake. On the replica they went through all 30 dates in like 3 seconds.

It's that next step they can take to match nut for nut which is scary.
With a loupe. Stand alone. Its scary how good clones are.
Unless you're asking people on the street for their watch to compare to your genuine version, or to take apart the case back, or ask to look at their watch under a loupe, you're not gonna be able to tell the best replicas are fake just by looking at a passerby's wrist.
@@rousseau327 @flowremix Completely agree... superficial examination, these fakes will clear the bar easily.
hello davidcty, can you share with me where to buy quality replicas, thanks
Usually the replicas f up the date magnifier (has no magnification), but here they even managed to nail that too.
well if you open them up the fake one is pretty dirty inside, however regular people don't do that. The fake unsurprisingly well-finished. Their are a couple date numbers that are not as full and the sunray lines are too pronounced but those are not really quality issues, they are just different from the original
Who cares if Rolex has inferior movement finish compared to other brands. WE LIKE THE STOCK!!!

The thing with wearing a replica is that deep down you know it’s fake, and it doesn’t have the same feeling as wearing a real one. People saving up for a real Rolex takes many months or years, and that sort of accomplishment you feel when buying a real Rolex is worth it.
And then you cant wear it in case you damage it or it gets stolen.....there's no point.
Around 15 years ago some Rolex watches were being made in China before being sent back to Switzerland to be finished, they had what they called a third shift problem.
I'd love to see more videos like this one on the channel.
