Exactly what I was looking for. A white car that slightly shimmers under direct sunlight with a hue a pink or purple or other color. The recipe of this video is going to be the one for my next car.

@@vitor900000 videos dont do pearls justice, plus its with a white base and its a WHITE colorshift. My 3k isnt plastidipped but its a white base with a silver metallic/pearl on top and in the shade its just flat white but when the sun hits it people tell me its almost entirely silver. When i go to chik fil a on sunny days they always put down silver coupe instead of white. Need to see these in person to fully appreciate the color
silverss onyoutube i saw a Mercedes painted that color green to purple shifter and it look amazing better than the video is catching
Essentially like almost all the colors they have apart from silver, black and this white!!! All the blues, greens, yellows, reds and oranges look awful! It’s so disappointing!

I'm just an artist, and used to help my dad customize vans back in the 70's, but this is so cool to see the wild mixing challenges with today's color shift products. I have only seen one that didn't turn out so well, but still professionally dipped! The rest are straight up unique and intreguing.
I'm glad you guys made a video on the very mixture i wanted to do on my Audi. I didn't think the items you guys suggested were going to give out the effect i wanted. Actually gonna purchase the kit now.
Several years late, but this is something that would be perfect for a horse trailer without adding dark color that would absorb heat. Make it subtly unique and pretty without going crazy.
Love it! Elegant and classy white, but when you get up close its flashy and cool.
Just did this on my 2006 G35 sedan, I used 50 grams of the blue interference pearl(KP Pigments) per gallon of top coat and got the same subtle effect out of two coats over 5 coats of PDS White.
Now THAT is class. Beautiful. This vid is before the time you started your 1-5 scale voting, but I give this one my first ''5'', anyway.

I had a off white cream colored Nissan Maxima and it had this pearl paint on it. It was gorgeous at night I'd drive into gas station and I'd always have people coming over to ask me how and where I got my car painted I had no idea! When I bought the car I hadn't even noticed it had this paint on it I just thought it had done kind of glitter what a surprise I had when night time came and all the pearls shimmered! It had a lot of purple in it with swirls of pink and blue I miss that car I can't wait to get another and get the same paint job on it! It looks amazing on that cream color,Thanks for sharing!

Reminds me of the snowflake white pearl my car came from the factory with, except with a mild colorshift to it.

Nice video can't beat seein it in person thou. I had a 2001 dodge dakota sport that was intense blue. It had white pearl in it from the factor, it would change from the blue to a green or purple depending on the light and the way you looked at it. I've always been a fan of pearl over metallic.
I love it how when your are mixing the paint the water colorshifts too, its so beautiful.

nice. i used to have an '82 corvette painted white with pearl white flames down the hood and front fenders.
they were invisible until just the right lighting and angles and BAMM! gold,orange, yellow,blue and purple flame ends just exploded out of the paint.
ive always wanted to do a similiar paint job on something else.
i guess you can lay graphics down using this system just like regular paint?

Video does no justice, VERY hard to capture in photo/video but i promise you...I have seen this is person and its insanity. Just looks like a satin white car when its sitting in the shade, but late in the afternoon with the sun hitting in from mostly the side... SHIT. the whole car looks chamelon of some sort. Looking forward to dipping my Kawasaki ZX10R this color soon!!

My fireblade has this as paint. Looks white at a distance but when in sunshine the angles pop blues, reds,orange, purple and green. The wheels are black but have the shifting effect too.
i have a bare metal hot rod that i want to clear and also use an interference pearl. will the pearl work on a clear or do i need a color base to make it work?
Could this same effect be used over my factory white 2019 jetta, mixed in as the top gloss coat without a base coat?
Is this available using the auto flex coatings. I need something that will resist peeling more then normal. I used plastic up and too coat and after a year it’s starting to peel. I have it on a back hatch and from pulling the hatch open and closed all year it’s starting to peel at the corners.

Hey I have a question I want to throw here first, I want to get this color/effect but the object im painting is not big enough for me to need to purchase the Gallon of base coat to mix this with etc, Could I achieve this if I purchase the "IRIS VIOLET FLIP AEROSOL" on your website and spray it together with a white base coat?
By far one of my all time favorites.
Back in 87-92ish my neighbor had a white E30 M3 and every morning I’d get in my car and go to work and his car would be sitting in the driveway. As you would pass by the morning sun would shimmer off all the body lines a pinkish purple pearl. Still remember it now 30yrs later. Car always made me look and it looked like a normal white car until you passed by and the light shifted.

Would it make a difference using a gun metal grey base coat? Not a solid black cause it may end up being to dark but a medium grey with the white pearl on top?

Question. If your facfory colour is white, and you want to DIY a satin pearl, can you just use a clear satin base with the pearl pigments, or do you have to put a white dip base first, then the clear satin pearl?

A good way of showing the color could also be under parking lot lighting and sodium light. Both types of lighting will accentuate the pearls.
So what happens if you use a balloon white pearl and throw like a pinch of HKS purple in there

We need this color is a HYPERSHIFT, I have a this exact setup white base coat with RL-71 on top but I was a more DRAMTIC effect‼️ so I ordered ZTA and blue interface and going to mix thos together and see what I get so in total there's going to be 3 different pearls😂

I’d love to see a deep black dip with red color shifting pearl so that it looked black until hit with direct sunlight and the high points would shimmer slightly red.
if you added more pearl would it amplify the effect or no
