.egg 2
.all purpose flour 3/4 cup (100g)
.sugar 1/2 cup (90g)
.white vinegar 1/2 tsp
.baking powder 1/2 tsp
.oil 2 tbsp (30 ml)
.milk 2 tbsp (30 ml)
.vanilla essence 1 tsp
.6 inch round cake pan
1 cup = 250 ml

Tip: if ur making this in a black or darker colour pan then lower the temperature by 25 degrees cause black pans absorb heat faster n even springform pans work 😅😅😁💕

This recipe is really perfect, every video i made a sponge cake from had not been soft ( I think that's because I didn't seperate the eggs that well 🤔, I had successfully seperated the eggs while making this recipe). I’ve just made this cake, it’s very soft and spongy! It has a very unique texture in that respect compared with other vanilla cakes.
I doubled up the recipe and found I could taste the sweetness of the caster sugar. If I’m looking for a slightly less sweet flavour am I able to reduce the sugar? Thanks!

Yes I also got some eggy small from it but apart from this the texture is superb. Mam can you please explain what should we do avoid that eggy smell?

Made this recipe, the amount of batter I got was half of the amount in the video. Cake didn’t rise, even though I followed the recipe. Cake wasnt fluffy and was just 2cm thin.
What tin size did u use?
I just tried this and had to adjust!!!! the oil and milk was NOT enough.... it turned out like cookie dough😩 it's baking now.... I hope it will turn out well...after this I am not trying any UA-cam videos if this fails😭

Hey dear I tried this cake yesterday it tasted very yummy but didn't raise at all.. was wondering where I went wrong.. then I realised I used powdered sugar instead of regular sugar..
