Liza Chen haha I was in a mosh pit 4 months ago at Green Day and damn the crowd when shit crazy when they came out. This girl broke her leg in the crowd. I can't imagine being in that mosh pit
WOW!! Yeah, Mosh Pit's are for teens and 20's i think! I had THE BEST seat, front balcony at the GD concert in Philly recently......just enjoyed watching the jumping crowd below...we had a blast!!
honestly, Jason White deserves more credit, I mean, he is an official member of the band. He didn't even get credit t the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame...

Dylan Snow Unfortunately touring members, If that is all hes doing, are not considered real members of the band. Like studio musicians don't tour, Touring Musicians don't record the music. Which is why they don't considered him an official member of the bands society.

+MCgamertech I do agree that he is an important part of the band, and yes he is aember of the band but only since 2012. he's been touring with them since the the late 90s or early 2000s. Usually what the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame does with musicians like him who were important members but not fully part of a specific band's legacy is they'll induct him a while after Green Day's induction. They do it with many guitarists who's careers weren't tied down to one band. So even though he didn't get inducted for his work with Green Day, he will get inducted in the future because of that and his work with other bands.

Years later and I keep coming back to this performance. So tight instrumentally, it sounds so damn good, even better than the original recording in some senses... and look at that crowd going absolutely nuts, such a vibe.

One of the things I love about Green Day is how much fun these guys always seem to be having. That moves into their music and in turn makes their sound so much fun to listen to.

I've only ever heard the live version of the song. And it's so great that I don't even care to hear the studio version.
Once Nirvana left us Green Day filled the void nicely.
Green Day was one of the main bands that were able to ''hold up'' rock in the beginning of the 21st century after Nirvana according to music history.. Dubbed ''Post-Nirvana'' bands or something like that. It's a real shame though that Dookie came out the year Cobain killed himself.

+MyChxmicalRxmance I don't think he was talking about Jason's skill in this song. Around a year or two ago Jason was diagnosed with cancer on his tonsils. I'm sure he meant hopefully he'll get better from that.

I first saw Billy at Owen's Pizza at Shattuck and MLK in Berkeley, oh so long ago. They "opened" for the Drunk Injuns. I think Bill was still in Jr. High in Albany or El Cerrito. I said to me buddy (we worked at KALX), "this fuckin' kid can sing!" For once in my life, I was right.
