Honestly, I'd just clean it up.... fix the leaks, windshield, etc. Oh, and the motor too. Then roll it. I'd probably take the truck tires off it too :)
Yeah I’m split between doing something like that, or getting it back to stock! I think what you are suggesting is by far the smartest and economic way to get it back running
Yes! Mark is awesome, after I subscribed to his channel I found all of you guys through the live streams! And yea, I will definitely have fun working on that fox 🦊
Brother! I think that was a GOOD move! As you know I love the red interior! Love the Cobra intake too! The fender aprons look good. So I imagine that it hasn't been in a major accident! If it is rust free I would take my time and do a full restoration! That's my opinion! Can't wait to see what you do with this build! 💯👊🏾👊🏾
Yes, I definitely appreciate your opinion, I think I will be going in that direction eventually, I’m developing a soft spot for the car because my son loves it 😂
Lol that’s literally the first thing I looked for on ebay when I got the car! But I guess they’re making a comeback because they are really expensive, LX taillights are way cheaper! I haven’t given up yet 😎
@@alltherpm I’m gonna look into that, I honestly don’t know if the T-top cars have drain holes but I suppose they should! Thanks for bringing it up I had not thought of it.
Great trade IMO. I’d fix it up a little bit a time and just enjoy it. I went to much resto on mine, now I kind of regret it. More things pop up than you expect. Unless you have deep pockets just drive it! 👊😎✌️
Yeah, no deep pockets here 😂. But I do love wrenching, so I will do as much as I can to make it drive and look decent, but a complete restoration probably won’t happen any time soon.
@@MrBlitzkrieg1987 mine was supposed to be a budget build.I had a running, driving car with cold air and heat, but oil leak. I jumped in,I thought I was just gonna paint stuff! 😂 30 year old car is always going to be a lot of issues. Somethings break just because you take it apart like plastic piece’s. Rabbit holes 4 sure. What I see in the video, it looks like your car is pretty straight and worth the time. Of course that always depends on structural rust. Looking forward to seeing you work on it! 👊😎✌️
You made a great trade in my opinion! Interior looks like it will clean up really nice! Gt40 heads, cobra intake... comes with lots of nice goodies! 3g alternator swap is already done, this car is 100% a keeper!! I just parted out an 88 GT, Don't be shy if you need any parts brother. I love the T Tops and the red interior!!! Looks like a really great foundation to make it your own. Congratulations on 500 my friend! You deserve it, keep the videos coming brother!
I really appreciate what you did man, it really did help me get to 500! I’m gonna make a list of all the stuff I will need, although mostly I think it will be weatherstripping related because most of the plastics are there, the one thing that will be a pain to find is the headliner board for the T top, it’s completely missing 😂
@MrBlitzkrieg1987 yeah the t top only stuff is getting tricky to find and very expensive. When you make your list let me know, I kept a ton off my parts car. If you need it and I have it, it's yours Luis. I'm glad it helped bro, thank you for the shout out as well 👌😎🙏
@@MrBlitzkrieg1987 Is there any chance you still know the VIN or have it available?I help run the International Mystic Cobra Registry and this one is super interesting.

I’m considering that Mark, the way he just lit up when I first showed him the car makes it a high probability! 😎
@@MrBlitzkrieg1987 that's what it's all about! I like the plan
Nice video keep them coming
Another Fox! Nice trade as long as everything is solid start fixing this one up as well get that motor rebuilt.
Yes sir! Besides the engine, the car is pretty solid, a few water leaks from the glass roof, but nothing major
Nice...Sweet car!!
Thanks for watching sir 😎
I’m gonna be the one to say it.. put the cheese graters back on when you get the chance 👍

There R factory drains/ pipes that route water to ground clear them and it wont back up into car, thats how floors rot on factory sun roof
Oops its t roof, but there must b same idea on drains
