Definitely, I wish more could be done to save it, but at this point there is core support damage from a previous accident and now the quarter panel and torque box 🥲. It will rest in useful pieces for my other 2 cars. Thanks my friend!
Thanks brother! I agree with you, parting it out is the most sane decision that can be made for now. I am also super glad that everyone involved in the accident is fine, after all cars are just cars 🙏
Ugh, tough hit! Sorry about that, man. Glad everyone is alright though, that's the important part. If I lived ~2,500 miles closer I'd try to snag the backseat, door cards, and head liner off of you. RIP Roach!
Damn sorry about the car! Glad your brother isnt hurt. As they always say if you’re brave enough to say goodbye, life will reward you with a new hello. Looking forward to seeing that notch up and running!
I appreciate that, thank you! I agree with you 💯 sometimes it’s tough to let go of a project you’ve put work into, but at this point it doesn’t make a lot of sense to try to bring it back. We can replace projects, we can’t replace family, so Im super glad everyone involved is fine.
It hurts man, if it was mine, id chance fixing it, cut rear quarter off, and torque box, try pulling it back with come along, then just use as a everyday car
We thought about that, but there is also a but of radiator core support damage from a previous accident. So the car would definitely need a lot of work. For now I’ll be using the engine and drivetrain on my notch, but once everything is out I’ll see if anything can be done with the shell.
Yea we’re definitely not letting the insurance take it, I need the engine to swap into my notchback. I think the car could be repaired as well, but it needs a quarter panel, the torque box, another differential, a set of wheels, also the radiator core support is bent from a previous accident. So its a long list where it would probably make more sense to part it out. Fixing it would be a pretty big bill

I enjoy watching the Pakistan truck channel too! Those guys are amazing. They would weld that axle up as good as new.
Oh my god I love this!!! 😂 I knew someone would get it! Thanks 🫡🤣
RIP to The Roach. I feel like "Taps" should be played in honor of the old warrior.

That’s a hard hit, At least many parts will live on! 🙏
Thanks Rick! It’s bummer the car got bent up like that, but yes a lot of its parts will live on 🙂👍
Sorry about The Roach! 😢 The axle breaking is very serious! I am very happy your Brother is ok Luis!🙏🏾 Good decision to part it out! 💯👊🏾

Let, the insurance pay for the car. Then buy it back, for a fraction. That, car can be repaired, fairly easily.
