I get cold draughts & smells coming up from there. I'd like to fill the gap around the pipe with this stuff but I'm concerned that it might run down into the sewer & accidentally block it. Does this material run at all or am I worrying too much? I'm considering getting 'Gorilla' expanding foam.

They are generally weather resistant , so for rain and such but probably not suitable if you have water dripping for example , it would probably be ok on very small gaps to block
I'm waaaay too late to help, but for anyone reading this now, you have to clean the tube with acetone. I used thinner and it also kinda works, but acetone is the best.
Moisture is required as part of the chemical reaction . If you were to spray this can into a ( for example ) 10 feet long pipe , it wouldn't cure properly inside the pipe . I've used this to reduced resonance inside tractor roll-over bars and I spray water in first from both ends .
How many times we can use this Pu foam spary ?? For example once use and then again want to use 15 or more days , then how can we clean nosal ?? I used this foam ,but after week time want use but foam did not come ,may be bottle main nosal got chock . Also guide how to clean block nosal ?
I have bought 2 cans of this and on both occasions the foam has come out until the can is about half full, then the nozzle gets blocked up and it wont come out any more, even if youy take the pipe off, so I ended up throwing them away half full....they cost about £8 each...from Fred in Essex Uk.
After you're done, if you do a quick spray into a bin with the can upright, then remove the pipe and clean it out with WD-40 (and a bit on the nozzle of the can), with bit of effort it can allow you to use it again at a later date.

They remain pressurised when affixed to the foam can so the expanding foam inside the nozzle cannot set. When the can is empty and it comes time to take the gun off you can then attach the gun to an expanding foam cleaner can (which are about £5) and it will clear the gun through in seconds.

iono i would have not put so much foam in there and finished off with a wall filler so as not to get foam marking up the pipe as it looks terrible.

I let it dry in the straw and push it out with a long, thin rod. Comes out in one piece. Squeaky clean straw.

PU foam holds moisture. So application to humid areas are not recommended
It hardens faster when you spray with water so probably not. However, be wary of knock off brands

Hi Fred, I had the exact same problem you described. The nozzle quickly becomes blocked, and then it's beyond repair. So annoying.
