Love to listen to Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series. It’s an absolute Joy to laugh out loud while reading or listening. I’m currently listening to Hardcore Twenty-four.
Have you got that “joy, joy, joy, joy down in” your heart? That is from one of my favorite church songs. It is so wonderful to sing! May you have lots of lovely moments of JOY this holiday season.
One of my favorite books is actually a series, the Chief Inspector Gamache series by Louise Penny. Her characters are such a joy & delight to spend time with! Oh! I’m also a snowman collector, though I don’t have as many as you. Your collection is amazing. My sister is Joy, and I am Carol, and we always wondered why our parents gave us Christmas names. My birthday is on Epiphany, but my sister was born in September. I love reading the books of William Kent Krueger. He has a mystery series about an Ojibwe/Irish detective named Cork O’Connor which combine a mystery with Native American beliefs and customs. He is a wonderful writer, having also written This Tender Land, and Ordinary Grace which are not part of the series. Happy reading, and Merry Christmas!
When I saw the oh, say….. I immediately thought of oh say can you see by the dawns early light. My joy is having all my children come home for Christmas.
